Scam company. Not based in Wellington. My plastic rubbishy boots were posted from China.
Not a NZ based company despite the name sucking you in. In March(goods received in April) the website also stated they were having to close their Wellington store and relocate to Auckland!!
90 day money back guarantee on the home page also sucks you in.
What could go wrong right?
Beware - being offshore based (Netherlands?) with goods coming via Asia - they try to fob you off with offers of refund of a % of your purchase, blather on about carbon footprint and suggest you donate the items.
Before I received this response I stupidly reordered larger sizes of the “orthotic” shoes. (Which are very poor quality and not orthotic at all but look nice) - then the battle started for a refund of my original order. It took almost three months of increasingly strongly worded emails from myself, and being fobbed off to different “managers” with empathetic responses and promises to assist me in my predicament in returning the items (at a great cost to me) etc etc same old jargon.
I eventually received a full refund and have donated the goods.
Maybe I was lucky as I had repurchased items.
BEWARE websites full of the promises and blurb as on the Dila website. “Customer reviews” on items state 4.8/5 by 10,000+ kiwis - hmmm?
Check that there is a physical NZ address and phone number rather than just email contact.
And check the scam alert links in NZ via Google.
Stop and think and check and do your research when sales appear to be too good to be true.
Unfortunately cannot load a review on their website
Not even a one star. Product is from Temu. They are not supporting breast cancer which is why I bought the sweatshirt. Total ripoff. They very kindly offered a 10% refund - not even close. Very disappointed. Don't be duped this is not a NZ company.
From peoples experience, the "on sale items" and the look of this site & their T&C, this company looks much like a site previously called Mila Wellington, claiming to be a Wellington NZ company who despite also offering 90 days refund would not honour that on sale items, so beware. The expensive shoes purchased from that site were also shipped from China and are such low quality they have sat unsold at NZ$10 (brand new) in our local Op shop for several months. Seems even Op shoppers know poor quality shoes when they see them.
I felt totally scammed by this Company and would advise folk to avoid them at all costs! Despite their DILA Wellington email address, they are certainly not NZ based - my goods ordered 22/5/25 arrived from Hong Kong 4/6/25. I was disappointed with the wait, fit and quality of the goods received. Despite a large 90 day Money Back Claim on their website, I found it impossible to activate this option. Despite more than 20 emails over several weeks trying to resolve this matter, I finally decided to cut my losses and opt for a 40% refund. My acceptance of a 40% refund was actioned in hours!
I ordered 1 "wool" and 2 "cashmere" jumpers. When they arrived they were made of acrylic. When I complained they offered me a 10% discount with all sorts of rubbish about sustainability and cost to environment to return them. Eventually after much negotiation I received a 40% discount and kept the jumpers which I donated to charity. There is no contact phone number or email on the website. You think you are ordering from a store based in Wellington but it's all from China. They claim they use NZ Post but actually its shipped from China with Aramex and took about 2.5 weeks to arrive. Never Again - Do not purchase from this store
Boots were total rubbish. Nothing like the photo at all. I had bought two pairs and to return them to Hong Kong would have cost at least $40, so in the end I opted for the 40% discount. Very misleading with Wellington in the name and then saying free delivery with throughout NZ with NZ Post, which made it seem like a local business. To give them their due, they responded quickly to emails and the refund was quick. But the quality of the goods was awful. Ended up in the bin.
My boots arrived absolutely rubbish the soles have no tread, the plastic uppers are rubbish
What a load of rubbish only fit for the bin.
Another Dishonest Cheating Chinese Clothing Store
If I could give no stars I would. This is another company based in China using photos of western retail premises and western women in the photos. This is why I assumed it was in Wellington. The shop claims to have been established by friends, Suzie, Amelia and Jane in 2014 to bring high quality, refined, elegant fashion. It promises free shipping within NZ, names NZ Post Couriers, refunds within 90 days of purchase for any reason. Of course it doesn't comply with any of this.
I ordered two cashmere jumpers "Jolanda". Two jumpers duly arrived delivered by Aramex couriers but upon opening they were absolutely nothing like I was expecting and nothing like the picture I ordered from.
I sent an email asking the address to send them back and then was told they come from a central warehouse in China and it's very expensive to send them back but they'd give me 10% off my next order. I replied that I would never buy anything from them again. Then they suggested I give them to a friend or family member and they would refund me 20%. I replied that no-one I knew would ever wear anything like the garments I had received. They then suggested giving them to a charity. They then offered 40% refund. I've said if they refund 50% I'd accept that.
It's better than nothing and I haven't yet had a reply.
