Amazing
We had to say goodbye to our beautiful girl today. We did not get much help from our usual vet so we called Dignipets. Alex from Dignipets was absolutely amazing. At such a distressing time, Alex made the experience so much easier to handle. He explained everything to us beforehand and our baby went so peacefully and calm it left us feeling she had the best care right to her final moments. Can't thank him enough. We are so pleased someone recommended them to us. Thank you Dignipets. I can't recommend them enough.

I could not have asked for better care…
I could not have asked for better care and consideration for my wonderful cat, George. He found going to the vets a traumatic experience and I am so relieved that he was spared that final visit and was able to have the vet visit him at home. The sedative was administered to him where he was lying in his favourite spot by the radiator. He wasn't even moved and was calm and made comfortable. Then I was able to hold him in my arms while the euthanasia drug was administered. He was not aware of anything that was happening. Thank you all at Dignipets, and in particular Katherine the Vet and Emily on Reception. I don't know how to thank you enough.

The service provided by Dignipets was second to none.
The service provided by Dignipets was exemplary. The vet who arrived was warm and friendy, explaining every step of the process. Her approachable manner and obvious compassion made what was a traumatic time much more bearable. I would recommend this organisation wholeheartedly.

The best service……
I cannot praise Dignipets highly enough. They truly make one of the hardest decisions bearable. Lucian came out for my darling dog Darcy who was nearly 14. He was so so kind and sensitive to both me and her. This is the second time I have used them and would only ever call them if I need them in the future.

Our much loved family dog had a stroke…
Our much loved family dog had a stroke and we all decided it would be kinder to end her life. Alex from dignipets came to the house and was kindness personified. He explained every step of the procedure and our dog had a stress free end on her own bed, in her home with her family all around her. He was so respectful of her, of us and of our home. We would thoroughly recommend this service.

Disappointing , not listened to, £60 waste of time.
Dignipets combined with our vets combined to deliver an inaccurate and disappointing experience at an emotionally stressful time for us.
Vets indicated they would not be prescribing further medication unless we paid for a quality of life review from Dignipets, which we were told would be a home visit.
Instead we received a video call which comprised a momentary view of the pet and a longer set of questions with a brief report at the end of the session which felt like a pre-written report as it included answers we had blatantly not given.
We feel this was just a cynical £60 waste of time.

We're truly sorry to hear that this experience added to your stress during what we know is an incredibly difficult time caring for your beloved pet.
We apologise that there appears to have been a misunderstanding about the service. Our Quality of Life assessments are always conducted via video consultation and cannot include prescriptions or treatments—only your primary vet can provide those. Home visits from Dignipets are reserved solely for euthanasia appointments when that time comes.
We understand this may not have been what you were hoping for. Our video assessments use a standardised framework to provide an objective evaluation of your pet's quality of life, which you can then take to your own vet to discuss treatment options and next steps.
If you feel the specific details in your assessment report were inaccurate or didn't reflect what was discussed during the consultation, please do contact us at nurse@dignipets.co.uk. We can review the recording against the report to ensure your pet's records are correct.
We also have a Free Dignipets App that allows you to track daily Quality of Life scores at home. This information can be shared with your vet to help them understand your pet's day-to-day reality.

Thanks Bruce!
This was quite possibly the hardest thing I have ever had to go through. My boy Bumble had to be PTS and my vet recommended Dignipets. I had a gentleman called Bruce come to our home who my dog automatically warmed to and he came with such a safe & warm aura. He was so sensitive and gentle. He made a heartbreaking situation slightly more bearable. Highly professional, caring & spoke us through every step. For such a god awful situation id recommend so highly.

The best farewell to our beloved Max
Having made the hardest decision of our lives in saying goodbye to our beloved Max, Dignipets were amazing, I rang at 3pm, Paula was with us by 4.15 and we were kept informed of her arrival time.
Everything was fully explained and our wonderful boy passed peacefully over the rainbow bridge in his own bed being kissed and stroked to the last moment. Max had the best passing we could have hoped for, calm and unhurried. Thank you Paula and Dignipets. We highly recommend this marvellous service.

Beautiful ending to a most precious and loved dog Poppy
I have never used Dignipets before as had took my previous dog to the vet’s. I was alittle apprehensive at first as I didn’t know what to expect but everything was explained thoroughly to me about the process off home euthanasia and what to expect
The whole experience from start to finish was beautiful calm and relaxed for both me and my dog Poppy thanks to the considerable and calm nature of the vet Alex who came. His experience and knowledge made the whole thing make sense and made me feel like I was in control of what was happening and there was no rush at all

No one wants to end their pets life.
But Stef attended within 2 hours on a Sunday and was so professional, kind and empathetic

Beautiful service
We made the decision to end the suffering of our beloved boy Jake (our 10 year old springer spaniel) after he was diagnosed with brain cancer. Alex came to our home with the deepest sympathy and explained the procedure step by step showing empathy. He did not rush us at any stage and allowed us as much time as we wanted in between each step. Jake was well cared for throughout the process and looked very peaceful. Happy we made the decision to have this done where Jake was comfortable at home. Thank you to dignipets and Alex for a fantastic experience in what was a very difficult time for us.

This is the second time we have used…
This is the second time we have used the service for an elderly dog, We were so unsure of when it was the right time for our almost 16 yo boy- Alex was the calmest most empathetic vet, he went through our questions and listened to our mumbling thoughts, he ensured that my boy never saw or smelt anything related to a vets practice ( something he hated) , hyro stayed in his favourite spot in the house, had a surf and turf and had the most dignified / comfortable sleep he ever had- it was not rushed and a lot of care was given, I am mainly writing this review not only to recommend this wonderful service and Alex who was outstanding - but to make people aware the cost associated with this privilege is not what you would think- it's very similar pricing to a stressful/ less dignified vet visit. I will never use a different service
