My experience with Matthew Schmidt was over and beyond the call of due diligence! Better than I could imagine in the way I was treated the whole time.

I worked with Matt Schmidt who was absolutely lovely throughout the entire process. Honestly, I had looked for life insurance on my own in the past, and being diabetic, the rates I was getting on my own (despite being otherwise healthy and in my 20's at the time) were exorbitant. Matt took his time to walk through multiple options with me, ask me questions, and communicate exceptionally well throughout the entire process. I honestly don't think I've felt as comfortable with a representative I've never met in person before. I found the Diabetes Life Solutions site through Reddit, and I'm eternally grateful that I did as this gives me a way to plan for my future, and that of my kids as well, and ensure that my family will be protected.

Very much helpful and know his job well, that's the only agent I care to work with. Remember Customer Service is everything and he is the only one who knew how to get me my insurance.

I cannot put into words my gratitude for Matt and his company. I had a term policy expiring and needed to get another in place. I have been given the run around by several companies that say they can get a person with Type 1 diabetes insured but never came through. I was always denied simply based on diabetes. Matt and his team worked with real underwriters and actually walked them through my medical history. They were able to get me a very reasonable term life insurance policy when others said I was uninsurable, having diabetes for 40 years. Diabetes Life Solutions is the real deal. As a father of 2 young kids (3 And 1) I wanted to get term life insurance in place should something happen to me, to make sure my family is protected as primary breadwinner. I was able to get 50k guaranteed from my employer but that didn't meet my needs. I understood from reading and talking to others that this would be an uphill battle, and likely difficult and expensive to accomplish

I applied twice through another popular insurance broker. Both quoted some approximate pricing, should I get approved. I thought it was a bit high but understandable being diabetic. Full medical exam and all and in the end after weeks of back and forth was denied due to Diabetes both times, even with an a1c in the mid 5s for the last few years with no complications.

I found Matt after some searching and after some back and forth over email (and later Text messaging, very personable), I was able to get a $500,000 term policy in place for half the monthly cost of the original two I applied for - with NO medical exam! Matt told me that this was the most I would be able to get for now with my two recent denials, but we can revisit in time to try to get coverage increased / a new policy. Of course, everybody's health situation is different.

All in all a great experience, and I truly felt like Matt had my best interest at heart and was going to bat for me with these insurance companies, rather than just being a number like I felt in the past with former companies. Would not hesitate to use him again in the future!

Burial insurance policies were found for my special needs! Brothers. My agent went out of his way to accommodate my schedule, even though we lived in different time zones! He also went out of his way to make sure I have hardcopies of the policies! It definitely was a smooth, seamless experience! he found plans that fit their budget even though they are on a limited income. So all around great experience with my agent!

Bob was very knowledgeable and he spent over an hour with me on the phone to get me the life insurance policy that best fit my needs. He was friendly and it was a very hood experience. I am vey happy with the policy he found me.

My agent, Richard , was totally awesome! He was incredibly thorough, knowledgeable, friendly, professional, spoke very clearly, was easy to understand, funny and very helpful. He spoke in terms that I could relate to not in insurance terms, or when he did use an insurance term he explained the meaning. He was also 100% on my side! I am very hard of hearing and he spoke clearly and loudly enough for me to hear him easily and I appreciate that more than anyone can imagine! He made sure I understood everything and that I had no questions whatsoever. He also made sure that I got the best policy that I could get at the best price. I would highly recommend him to anyone! I truly appreciate the help Matt Schmidt, put in to help me,beyond his duty as an agent. My bank had charged me 2 insufficient funds charges for a bank draft because of the insurance company mistake. He assisted me with the bank to get one of the fee waved. Being on a fixed income, it was a blessing. Thank you Matt.
