The staff are knowledgeable and friendly and always come back to you. As a contractor their properties are nice and they are a pleasure to work for!

I have rented a place with my girlfriend for approximately 2 years now, and cannot recommend Deu estates enough! The process was hassle free and any issues were dealt with in such a professional manner. Stuart and Hayley have hands down been the most supportive and helpful landlords I’ve EVER had and cannot thank them enough.

I’ve been a contractor working with Deu estates for a number of years. The houses are always well maintained and perfect for students. The staff are really easy to work with dealing with problems quickly

Selfish parking and inconsiderate and very rude staff

Students woke at 5:30am to water pouring through their bedroom ceiling.

Emergency maintenance were called but they were told someone would come at 9:15am as the team starts at 9.

Four hours of water coming through the ceiling, with the advice simply to turn off the fuse box and wait. A very poor response to what was clearly an emergency.

Olivia was really knowledgeable, professional and really informative. She was very welcoming and didn't make me like any question was too ridiculous to ask and is a credit to due estates and will definitely be recommending based on this.

I was locked out of my room at night, and Martin responded promptly and came out to the property with a spare key. I didn’t have to wait long at all . I really appreciate his kindness and quick help

Great and friendly staff! Been with DEU for a year and they were very helpful.

Horrendous. Don’t go near them. Property was in a state, did not respond to repair requests. No fire exit and bars on the windows in the basement. Door closers were torn off. Rats in the street outside. Mould on the walls. Then had the cheek to try to charge 180 pounds cleaning cost. Have reported them to unipol. I see the issues of fire safety are not responded to nor are the reported repair issues that were not addressed. Mould was not in the basement, it was upstairs and was not condensation related. We both know the cleaning issues you reported were not accurate as the property was thoroughly cleaned before leaving and photographs were supplied to this effect. The property was in such a state when moving in that we even had to replace the curtains as they were covered in dust and cat hair.

Very clear in the signing and moving process and helping us feel comfortable. Great value for money on the property and location of our house. Quick and effective communication with us regards to general inquiries and house issues. Our agent Jasjeet was supporting us from the day we first expressed our interest with the property until we received our deposit.

We were shown around by Jaz, he was absolutely amazing, very caring. We have lived with DEU estates for the past year and they are amazing, very attentive, so friendly.

If I could I would give 0 stars. Outrageous company, and completely useless. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Offers no help and puts no effort into repairs or making the conditions livable. Reported an urgent repair, due to a deteriorating health condition, and I am still waiting for somebody to have a look at it. Even after numerous requests nothing is still happening, and I am not being listened to. It's upsetting that a company can have such disregard for basic human rights , when they getting paid good money for the flat (and are constantly increasing the prices)

Avoid unless you don't mind being blamed and charged for damp problems...

Update: I managed to eventually get the charge removed. I was requested to remove the review however I don't feel like DEU ever actually had my back or even considered I might be right in the first place, I just happened to 'win'.

DEU will say they're just the 'go between' and therefore not accountable for anything, and they'll try to use this against you when you submit a bad review. Maybe this is just my opinion, but I believe an estate agent should fact check first and tell landlords when they're wrong rather than try to gaslight tenants into paying to avoid upsetting their clients.

Beware!! This company are having a laugh at the expense of students. They took a huge amount of money off the deposit. Charged £320 for a 'deep clean' of a sub standard property that had already been cleaned to an acceptable level by the students who were leaving. They charged £30 for putting a couple of screws in to repair a cupboard door and £20 to put up a blind that was going to be changed anyway (it hasn't been replaced of course)
So beware students - you will lose a big chunk of your deposit whatever you do.
Very nasty people. Out to get what they can.
If they reply to this, they will say I was aggressive when I complained. Well, yes, because I was utterly disgusted by their greedy behaviour and totally uncompromising attitude. Thank god wee moving on. I pity the next tenants.
