It is of course wrong to name individuals, as from our experience it was the actions of the whole ‘ team’. However, John, Jackie, Jaquie ( confusing sometimes, ) Nicola & Reece all gave us confidence to continue with the sale of a property that has been in the family for 70+ years. None of this would have been so smooth, without the excellent stewardship of Lee. Thank you all. 👏👏

Julian sold a shop for us recently in Romford and he achieved well above what we expected. The experience was pleasant and professional throughout even when we had repeated problems from the buyers side, he was happy to start again.

We had such a positive experience with the whole Delaney’s team involved in our transaction. As first-time buyers, we had a lot of questions and were quite nervous about the process, but everyone we dealt with made it feel smooth and manageable.

Reece helped us arrange the viewing quickly, and John kindly showed us the property (that too during the Christmas break!). Jackie was great during the offer stage and helped get things moving swiftly. Jacqui and Lee were fantastic during the sales progression — always available, super responsive, and quick to follow up with all the parties involved, which helped us stay on track and complete ahead of the stamp duty changes.

Everyone took the time to explain things clearly and kept us in the loop throughout. Their personal approach and efficiency made a huge difference and took a lot of the stress out of the process.

The rental team has been incredible, we have dealt with both Jo and Michelle over the last couple of years - no job is ever too much and they’re always so friendly and fast to respond no matter the day or time. Check out was easy and clear communication. Would 100% recommend!

Although the journey was not easy and full of obstacles, in the end, I received the keys to my desired home. Having dealt with most of the big estate agents in our search for our new home, Delaneys, and especially Jackie, have been a breath of fresh air. Very genuine, clearly wanting the best for their clients, and always being very upfront and honest about where we stood- these seem to be rare qualities amongst other agents. From start to finish everybody in the team worked tirelessly to get the house sale to a successful conclusion despite the problems encountered from the eventual buyer. House viewings were organised quickly and efficiently with 26 viewings within 5 days of the house being on the market. Communication was excellent throughout but special mention should go to Jacqui W who made us feel like we were her special client and friend.

I own a 1 bedroom flat in the Chapel, St Leonard's Hamlet in Hornchurch and Delaney's have fully managed my property since 2011.
They do an excellent job making sure that everything is in order with my property ensuring that it is well cared for as I now no longer live in the local area after relocating to West Sussex.
Some examples of this are:
They report any maintenance issues and arrange for local tradespersons to come and fix the problems, quoting the price before I agree to go ahead with the work.
They are a 1st person contact for my tenants and respond quickly to resolve any issues, making sure that I am aware of any issues by phone or email.
Make sure that the monthly rent is adequate compared to the market prices in the area, increasing accordingly with inflation.
Arrange yearly landlord cover.
I have full home cover for plumbing and electrics and they contact You Repair to arrange a visit without me having to do so.
Regular inspections and documented paperwork to say that the property is being kept clean and well maintained.
They have found suitable tenants for me and I trust their judgement in finding the right people as it is a small, executive and quiet apartment block and not suitable for everyone.
Jo Lockwood, Lettings Manager and Michelle Round, Lettings Consultant are my main points of contact and we have built up a good professional rapport over the years. I trust their judgement 100% knowing that every aspect of the process of renting out a property is taken care of.
Delaney's are a small independent family run business.
I decided to go with them to cover all aspects of my property management instead of a larger corporate competitor as I wanted to support smaller local businesses in my area.
I fully recommend Delaney's to any landlord who is looking to have the stress of managing a property taken off their shoulders, and I would like to thank them all for providing such an excellent service in managing my property for all these years

I am very disappointed with this company. I was booked in to view a property 1 whole week ago. I then received a call 24 hours before the viewing to claim I was doubled booked and that I could with come in on the day (how unrealistic) or change my appointment to an hour earlier. I was then asked what I intend to offer on the property (how would I really know if I've not viewed it). This was a tactic to obviously put me off the viewing. Then this morning 12th December, I received 2 missed calls but no voicemail. I returned the call and was asked if I will be attending the viewing this evening. Then, less than an hour prior to the appointment (I had already made my way), I received an email and a call to cancel my viewing. The reason, an offer has just been accepted. Why would an offer be accepted when there are still viewing scheduled. Very dodgy on my watch. Perhaps the property was sold to an employees family member!!!

Delaney’s have been great at making the rental process and experience less daunting. Its been seemless from the initial consultation to moving into the property and sorting out any challenges. They are consistent with maintaining communication and are professional and kind. I especially love interacting with Michelle and Jo. Thank you so much for being helpful always 😊.
