We’re thrilled to hear you’re having a great experience as a subscriber. Thanks for letting us know.
Really like the magazine but too many DD price increases
Really like the magazine. Rather disappointed in how frequently the direct debit increases, despite this being advertised as the cheapest way of paying which when you take into account the regular increases, the biannual or triannual rate would have been significantly cheaper.

We're glad to hear that you're enjoying The People's Friend, Ruth. Unfortunately we do need to adjust our prices on occasion to reflect the costs of printing and publishing, but we do try to keep costs as low as possible for our readers. We do of course appreciate your feedback. We do also have digital subscriptions available for The People's Friend if this would help at all, these subscriptions are more cost-effective as there are no printing costs. If you'd like any further information, please don't hesitate to get in touch with us at shop@dcthomson.co.uk.

Plenty of items to read and share in every copy. I particularly like the recipes and the puzzle quiz and brain booster. The short stories come a close second.

My Pocket Novels
First ordered the Pocket Novels, when Covid started.
The books are always sent on time. (Although the post is not too good these days)
Have continued with the subscription, always have something to look forward to for a good read.
Also these small books are ideal for taking on holiday.
Thank you.

Excellent magazine subscription provider.
I set up subscriptions on behalf of my mother for People's Friend magazine and specials. She absolutely loves receiving her magazines. Mum is house bound and can't pop to the newsagents to buy her favourite magazines, so was she was thrilled to hear she could subscribe to DC Thomson and have them delivered.
