The support is reasonably good and the software generally has no issues. Its a bit pricey and the functionality of the market conditions report is on the lower end compared to other software I have used that offers the Market Conditions addendum but the comps importing is stable and runs without any issues or hiccups.

It crashes at transfer 50% of the time. The information for the legal description is not complete, the zoning description is missing and it does not bring basement SF and stats over.
For the most part
For the most part, DataMaster has been a great assistant in the entire appraisal process. I have been told that I was signed up in some of the first groups. There areas where I must go back into the report and correct, but most of those errors are caused by the RE Agents in their listing data. Most agents don’t know about the small details we need to complete a report.
My only concern is DataMaster support is not available 24 hours. Most appraisers inspect the property during the day hours, then type the report or some of it up to midnight. Me, I get up at 4:30 to 5:00 AM to type my reports. If there is a problem, I must wait until 11:00AM my time to call you folks.
Data master is amazing
Data master is amazing. I have been appraising for 17 years now and this is the best thing since that laser measuring tape. It saves me 20-30 min an appraisal and when time matters this is the product. I now have more time, and therefore I make more money.

Really like Datamaster
Really like Datamaster, however I am still unable to import rentals into reports in which a tech support ticket was made on 12/10/2018, and also active listings can be inaccurate in regards to information put into the grid
The program did not fully integrate…
The program did not fully integrate with my local MLS and after a few attempts the program would freeze up my system with an error. I reached out on multiple occasions where a tech actually accessed my computer and saw it happen. They notified me they would escalate it to upper tech support. After almost a week I received an email about how things were going and I stated what had happened and I still hadn't heard back. They stated they would look into it and sure enough, I received a call and an email stating I needed to get with my system administrator and Network IT person as it was a Network error. The only problem was it is on a stand-alone machine No Network. Once I stated that, I never heard back and canceled the service the next month.
When it worked it helped the process but it still required double checking info. So although it seems faster because of the importing of data you are still having to go back through to make sure the data transferred was what you wanted. In addition, although they state the source as "Public Records" they are actually relying on 3rd party providers in my market, not actual Assessor, Recorders Office records.

Would be higher, but Dallas didn't get the updates that we saw demo'd last year at the North Texas Chapter Appraisal Institute conference. It showed a lot more features that had been or were about to be rolled out in other cities.
