The service was great. My issue however was that the first time customer discount was given to after I had paid for my first order.
That only shows that they really don’t intend to give you any discounts.
Their handlers were polite, helpful and attentive. Great brand!
I had issues initially trying to proceed to the checkout and also picking the option of next day delivery but the customer service representative was quick to offer assistance.
This brand may have good products but I think they are ripping their international customers off. When brands have international website, you know it’s not shipped from abroad. However, this isn’t the case for Dang lifestyle. When I placed my order on their UK website, I thought the products were readily available in the UK, only for me to be shocked that delivery takes 7-10 days and shipping + tax cost £15.
Let me digress a bit, quick maths shall we? No shipping in the UK cost £15, even next delivery does not cost up to £10. Next, go to their Naija website, check the price in naira for the same products and compare it with the UK price, ridiculous right???
Back to my story, I didn’t receive any communication until 5 days later and what I got was ‘order completed’ and 4 days later, I received an email from DHL notifying me of my parcel. That was a eureka moment for me because charging £15 for delivery made perfect sense, It was shipped from Nigeria!!!! I’m used to receiving things via DHL from Nigeria so I know the fee is equivalent to around £15.
The reason why I made this post is to ask someone to make it make sense to me, why exactly do you have an international website, charge in foreign currencies which is not the equivalent of the price of same product in local currency and still ship that same product from Nigeria? It is a total rip off!! Never again.
Lastly, no review for the products because it was delivered to my neighbor and I haven’t see my neighbor in weeks. What an experience!
Oh JESS I wished I saw this review before I placed my order on the Dang Canada website. backstory, I placed an order on the Dang Canada site on FEB 16th and was given an estimated delivery date of "7-10 days". I made payments and was eagerly waiting as I got the impression that the products were warehoused somewhere in Canada since she has different links for Canada, the USA, and Nigeria. on the 13th day after my order, I didn't get any updates whatsoever. All I could see was "SHIPPED" I reached out to the "online chat agent" who just told me a ticket would be issued and an email would be sent and she ended the chat. she goes by the name "FAREEDA" I was shocked by her response as I have never experienced such a customer service response in a while. maybe I was expecting too much from the brand based on "IFE" branding online. sidenote I work as a client service representative here in Canada and I know you don't just end a chat with a customer without acknowledging their complaints. After 3 days of no update, I sent a mail to the customer service desk to ask for an update on my order. I as the customer in this scenario am the one following up with the team after placing an order of "$202". They responded that they would get back in 48 hours. 5 days later no response. I sent another email stating that can I have the order tracking number at least or if you can't deliver refund me. Till date no response. I had to go on Instagram to chat them up again and still no resolution. all I get is the endless wait till we deliver. makes me wonder if this is how Nigerian vendors treat their customers. the lack of communication is appalling. To date, I am still waiting. this shows that they sell to you in dollars and look for a way to send the product from Nigeria. at least they should have a reliable logistic company to handle this to prevent delays and experiences like this. They take your money run their business and make you wait. I usually just order my skincare from Korean brands but felt let me support black entrepreneurs also because I enjoy reading the dang community blog I decided to buy in and the experience so far has been SCREAMING HORRIBLE,
Quick update: I finally received my order on the 18th of March which was 32 days after my order. I am currently using the products and the results will tell if it is worth the long wait time .
Dang! has the best and working products I've ever used on my skin. Although, they're a bit pricey, but spare no expense when it comes to nurturing healthy skin. Great customer service too.
However, prompt delivery is something they've not hacked and the reason I'm giving 4 stars. All the orders I've made had me going back and forth with them for dayyssss/weeks except this last one where I paid for express delivery because it was a gift to someone.
Dang! is a great brand I can vouch for. But they must work on their delivery time, especially within the same state. Not everyone can afford express delivery prices.
Thanks to Dang products, my skin is skinning 😃. People stop me on the way to commend my skin, to think I originally had a very dark hyper-pigmented skin.
I paid for an express delivery and almost 48 hours later I am yet to receive my package. My email on my order inquiry was ignored, so was my call to one of the dang representative.
I don’t like that there are no updates on after my order is confirmed. No mail on when it has been shipped or when it’s coming. I just get a call when thee rider is at my house or almost at my house, what if I wasn’t home? These updates help me plan for delivery.
Complete lack of communication and horrible customer experience.
I made an order over a week now and I am yet to get it, I cant reach any customer agent that can give me an explicit reason why my order is being delayed, instead I get a rubbish generic email.
I made an order (#1D 14774) on January 31st, which was stated to have been fulfilled since February 1st. However, I am yet to receive the order till now.
To provide more context, I am currently not in Nigeria and the person bringing this order to me will leave Nigeria tomorrow.
Please do something about it as soon as possible today or the order will not be received by me.
Please call call the number on my order to deliver the order #14774.
It is not my first time making an order and I know how swift the delivery is normally, that's why I placed the order. Please, do something.

Love the diffusers and room sprays. I can tell they were carefully produced. What I don’t like are the plastic containers they come in.
I haven’t received my product after 2 weeks of payment
I ordered the vitamin c serum and it was the oil based one that’s in the picture, I don’t know why it’s the oil free one that is delivered to me. I prefer the oil based one.
