Love the products! Orders arrive on time, and in the rare occasion there is a problem, their customer service is amazing! Fast and easy to work with.
Their website constantly repopulates orders you've skipped and you end up getting charged for orders you did not place. Customer service is sincerely the worst (gaslighting and patronizing instead of apologizing) and takes zero accountability (zero reimbursement). Daily Harvest feels scammy. Make sure to take a screenshot (including the date) of your skipped orders. Report them to the FCC if they wont reimburse you and leave a BBB review. I know I'm not the only customer experiencing this - especially after they "updated (their) platform". Only use virtual cards with their service and deactivate after every order, or shop elsewhere. I now have a freezer full of only the flavors I've tried that I did not like - how did they know? This order doesn't even match a single past or "future order" and the products I received don't even match what they said they sent. Disgusted by this business.
The smoothie's are great. Sweet, full of nutrients, very appetizing. The frozen bowls & soups, not so much. The sound good and look good in the pictures, but in real life, they're pretty unappetizing. Some of the bowls are very tough to eat. The grains are hard and the stalks of kale or whatever greens are tough and hard to chew. In general, I did not enjoy them. Cancelled membership after a few months.
The packages are not sealed well enough. They are open and sqooshed. The spice in the food is so disgusting, it ruins my appetite thinking of eating it. It is so gross. It’s expensive, easier to buy produce and freeze it. That’s all they do, but add bitter spicing. The oat bowels they have are also so disgusting. You add milk and soak them for 6 hours and it taste like soggy cereal. I ended my subscription. What a waste of money. Oh and they refused to take my one star review on their site. It’s a scam, they only allow 4-5 stars. What does that tell you?
