Very disappointing experience !
We reported issues with the condition of the property, particularly the carpet, from the very beginning of our tenancy. Despite multiple follow-ups, these problems have still not been resolved even after 6 months.
An inspection was carried out and notes were taken, but no action followed and the same issues remain.
The carpet is dirty and has a persistent unpleasant smell, which significantly affects our comfort and living conditions. We were also told it would be new, which was not the case.
Overall, there has been a clear lack of responsibility and urgency in addressing tenant concerns. I would not recommend !

Emily Rae has been so helpful and knowledgeable. We had concerns and questions around our new tenants contract, but Emily spent time taking us through our issues, she installed a lot of confidence in C&W handling our property. She was very professional.

Had a very positive experience buying a house in Southsea through Cubit and West. Julie, Maddison, Evie and Yasmin were all very helpful and friendly.

Cubbit and west is a great company and weve really had good experiences.However, when it comes to fixing issues in the house, response has been poor. Some issues have lingered over a year without anything being done, even whe they come for routine chexks and the issues are raised again, notes are taken but not action.
One of such issue was raise February 2025 and another raised february 2026

I had a negative experience with Cubitt & West at the Waterlooville branch with a member of staff Nicola Johnson. I was recommended to use their in house mortgage lender, Wayne Hamilton-Bailey at mortgage matters as well as the linked solicitors, which turned out to be very slow, don't reply to emails and never pick up calls. When deciding against using the mortgage lender she ended the call in anger and I even heard the phone slam.

Extremely impressed with Cubbit and West! The agent that came to show us the house we were interested in was punctual, well informed and extremely professional, a pleasure to deal with.

Alia in the office was spot on providing prompt and accurate updates and information, well done to everyone and you honestly deserve more then 5 starts, was utterly impressed with the service.

I Had Dionne from the Horsham Cubbit &West branch round today to value my Flat & discuss a few different options , she turned up on time was polite & well turned out, she was honest & informative & I would feel confident moving forward with her guidance, extremely pleasant lady , thank you Dionne

We had a good experience with Cubitt and West. Julie Bramble was lovely during this lengthy process. She always answered questions, got back to me at a timely manner and was very patient. No complaints when it comes to her. Thank you Julie!

They have a proactive sales team who do call round and message contacts but it's not always clear which you're going to deal with. You do pay additional for the photos as they outsource which seems a little cheeky.

Their team progressor is minimal so support during a tricky sale was limited. I didn't feel protected by them given I was paying their fee.

Abi Valentine-Rugg is my point of contact and she is an absolute star!

Cubitt & West Haywards Heath office pushed for me to use their in house Mortgage Broker, however, failed to advise that you will have to pay approx £600 for the privilege until you're too far into the process and have no time to look elsewhere. Customer transparency is very poor. I'd avoid.

During the process of buying my new home, I received good communication and a helpful attitude from Sophie Johnson (Senior Sales Progressor) at Cubitt & West.

Cubitt & West are very professional and efficient. We were kept fully informed throughout the process. The company is proactive and progressive. Their app allowed 24 hour access with updates of the sale and the app was very user friendly. If you are selling your house Cubitt & West are the agents to use.

The whole team in the Waterlooville office, especially Elliot Campbell and Julie Bramble, have been exceedingly supportive and professional in what was a lengthy process.

Ruby Munday from the Brighton office made our experience finding, securing and moving into our property an extremely easy and pleasurable journey. A huge thank you to you Ruby.

I have had the most refreshing experience from Julia at Cubitt & West Estate Agents - all estate agents really are not the same! Her attention to detail, she listens, takes on board 'you' as an individual and even gets in touch at times that suit me! I am so grateful for Julia's time, effort and for being so genuine. Just want to give credit where credit is due. We have recently sold our property and have begun our search for our new home without any success so far. I have been in touch with various estate agents who have all been brilliant, however Zak has been outstanding. He has been in contact regularly, checking in for updates and sending any new properties over to us.
