I have just completed Level 3 AET which was my first qualification using an entirely online platform. It was very efficiently set-up with user-friendly resources. It was good to have a variety of formats and I found the virtual workshops for each unit to be very useful. It was easy to keep in contact with the course tutor (Angela Buick in my case), she was very responsive and helpful. The feedback on assignments was constructive and positive. Being able to re-view the resources, particularly the videos was useful. I also opted to buy the text book which was an excellent reference.
I have been delivering training courses within my organisation for many years but I still learnt a lot from this course and it was good to be refreshed on aspects that I had covered in previous training many years ago.

Completed my AET level 3. Angela was super supportive and responsive

At the start of my Level 3 I was nervous as I hadn't been in any form of education for a while.
After the initial online meet and greet with my tutor I automatically felt at ease, Angela made me feel so welcomed and after a short while relaxed.

Angela helped support me throughout the course and was able to appoint me in the right directions when I needed it.

Completing the online course suited me as I could work on it in my own time and reach out to Angela when I needed it.

CTC Training provide a great opportunity for online learning at a reasonable cost. While it is all online, there are real tutors available to you for guidance at all times.

Training was very interactive with different learning methods videos, presentations, reading materials. You can book a Q&A session with teachers to answer all your questions and to understand how to correctly answer questions and complete assignments. Even if you had to resubmit them the provided information from teachers was very on point and easy to understand what was missing. Great course- recommend it.

I'm on the Level 3 Award in Education and Training - it appealed to me for 2 reasons: 1 it is distance learning that I can complete at my own pace (and with ADHD, that's very important to me in my energy spurts), and 2 that the price was showing as a discount.

I haven't completed this in full yet, I have passed Unit 1, completed Unit 2 and submitted my assignment, and now completed Unit 3 and about to start the assignment.

But I'm writing a review now because I had looked at the reviews before signing up, and did have some doubt. Because any of the critical reviews did seem very frustrating for them, and the responses seemed defensive (just being honest).

But I've had a couple of engagements with the team, by telephone call for some IT issues/accessing the system (no big issue just availability of two of the videos), and in my Unit 1 assignment feedback. Each time I have found the team very easy to engage with, not felt dismissed or an inconvenience. Lillian as my assessor has been prompt with feedback on assignments and quick to mark them. The platform is really easy to use, and had instant access. I am able to take it at my own pace which is really important. I joined the facebook community that is provided in the induction links, and had a couple of helpful replies from other learners very swiftly.

The course was well constructed to complete at your own pace. My tutor (Angela) was quick to grade assignments and give really helpful feedback, Module 3 can feel like it never ends but if you stick at it you'll get there

CTC has an excellent online platform with an extensive bank of related webinars, videos, interactive presentations, and materials. You can also join live webinars or engage with other students on their active Facebook profile. In addition, you will have a dedicated tutor to support you whenever needed. I have just completed my Level 3 Award in Education and Training (RQF) and am planning to enrol in my next training with CTC. In one word, CTC is outstanding.

If you value your time and money, I strongly recommend avoiding CTC and pursuing the course elsewhere. For several weeks, I have struggled to receive timely and meaningful feedback to advance my coursework.

I recently had been a cybersecurity manager at a government research facility for several years, during which I have authored numerous procedures and policies, instructed in-house staff, and maintained a high standard of writing, as required by the nature of my work.

Despite my efforts with the coursework at CTC, the only feedback I have received—repeatedly—is that my submissions are not written in my own words. No evidence or guidance is provided to support these claims. It is my belief that CTC relies on software that flags submissions without proper review of content or material. The innacuracies of this software is supported by findings from various university articles, such as this one by Cornell University ([Submitted on 21 Jun 2023 (v1), last revised 10 Jul 2023 (this version, v2)] Testing of Detection Tools for AI-Generated Text) which highlight that such algorithms are "neither accurate nor reliable". Counselors and trainers review your work superficially and return it immediately without proper diligence.

This course has been a waste of my time, and the consistent delays and lack of constructive feedback are extremely frustrating.

Thoroughly enjoyable experience even when the feedback was not really what I wanted to hear. This just made me work harder and do more research.

The workshop videos were particularly helpful.

Marking of project work was fast enabling a quick response when necessary. Feedback was prompt and fair.

I felt that Angela Buick was very helpful and honest in her approach and I'm pleased to say with her help I managed to pass the course

The Learning and Education qualification is a great course to give you all the skills and resources to start your own training experience. I have learnt so much as a new learner even though I have had a very experienced work background. It will help you across all sorts of aspects of your work and training.

I found the support to be particularly helpful. My mentor provided useful feedback on submissions and the course Facebook group was invaluable. I enjoyed the course content, finding it helpful to my current role and the one I am hoping to apply for.
