Stay far away from Cruise.com
I booked Alaska cruise on 7/28/2019 with Cruise.com. Big Mistake! I advise to stay far AWAY form this company! In July, cruise.com listed bonus offers online, but they won’t honor. Based on their available offers, my Alaska Cruise (Holland America Line, Oosterdam, 8/18/2019 to 8/25/2019) was selected to “Receive free gratuities” (book a Balcony or higher). I booked a Balcony, but didn’t get the bonus. To deal with their customer support was very annoying, a bunch of hassle! Even after that I sent the agent a copy of the screen shot for the offers on their website in July, she still denied the offer. Unimaginable! Most unprofessional agent I have ever talked to! Finally her supervisor confirmed the offer but didn’t want to honor and said “You didn’t ask an agent to book.” I didn’t understand the difference between “I book online by myself” and “ask an agent to book” until I read one of the “One star reviews” for Cruise.com written by L of Englewood, posted on June 26, 2019 (Google). The author asked an agent to book and overpaid $300, compared with the price online. This is the trick that Cruise.com planned to cheat customers. They charge you $300 more and then may give you $200 to pay the gratuities. That is the “Bonus Offer” from Cruise.com. Don’t trust their website. Do NOT use this company to book any Cruise!
Let me add to the course of complaints…
Let me add to the course of complaints about this company. I was just disconnected after being on hold waiting for a supervisor to answer a question. The original agent I was talking to, Tony, told me that when there is an offer of an onboard credit based on the "total price of the cruise" it is only calculated based on ONE PASSENGER'S FARE and not the total for the cabin. NO WHERE does it say that even in the fine print of the promotion! That constitutes a SCAM in my opinion, a bait and switch that you don't find out about until AFTER you book the cruise! PLEASE - if you are going to book a cruise online....try another agency that is more transparent such as Expedia.
DO NOT USE CRUISE.COM...IT'LL SAVE YOU AGGRAVATION
ALTHOUGH THE BOOKING PROCESS EASY ENOUGH, HOWEVER, DEALING WITH THEIR PEOPLE ON THE PHONE IS HORRIFIC -- AND THIS IS AFTER WAITING ON THE PHONE FOR 30 MINS. THEN, YOU GET SOME HOUSEWIFE IN THEIR HOMES, DEALING WITH THEIR KIDS WHILE TALKING TO YOU. THE FIRST ONE PROMISED TO SEND ME A CONFIRMATION EMAIL (WHICH i NEVER RECEIVED)... THE SECOND ONE, REFUSED TO SEND IT TO ME, AND GOT SHORT & NASTY WITH ME. SHE WAS ONE OF THE WORST CUSTOMER REPS I'VE EVER DEALT WITH ON THE IN MY LIFE. SHE HAS NO BUSINESS BEING IN THIS FIELD, NEEDLESS TO SAY, I PAID FOR A CERTAIN UPGRADED PACKAGE, AND I HAVE NO PROOF THAT I DID. AFTER NUMEROUS EMAILS, I KEEP GETTING SENT AN INVOICE WITHOUT THAT PACKAGE (WHICH I PAID FOR, LISTED). ALL IN ALL, IT'S NOT WORTH THE HEADACHE -- I SHOULD HAVE BOOKED DIRECTLY WITH THE CRUISE LINE WHICH WAS ONLY $100 MORE. LESSON LEARNED.
Just Don't.
I recently booked two cruises, back-to-back, for October of this year. We are experienced cruisers but had never used Cruise.com before. Choosing this company due to the OBC offered, I found the booking process to be easy enough, with our reservations showing up on the cruise line's website shortly after the cruise.com transaction (a very good sign!). I had a question about the cruise line's own perks and spoke with a Cruise.com rep (after waiting 40 minutes on hold)...who hung up on me while she was supposedly contacting the cruise line for info. I then emailed the question to customer service and received a response the next day. I ended up calling this person, who turned out to be in the promotions dept, and found her to be very helpful and friendly. A few days later, I needed assistance with a flight issue and tried calling again, using their "we'll call you back when an agent becomes available" system...no return call received. So I emailed again, with a detailed explanation of my problem....no return email this time (it's been over a week). I'm currently sitting here waiting for another call back, after waiting on the line for half an hour. Obviously, this is NOT the company to book through if you need customer service. The staff seem nice enough when you finally do connect, but it's not worth the aggravation. I won't use them again.
No problems :)
Booked my first cruise about 1,5 years ago. I am an European customer an and had a Suite with Costa Cruise, rates are great compare to Europe, saved about 500USD Per Person. Right now i am in an booking process for a MSC cruise. Booked a Yacht Club deluxe suite. Booking process is easy and friendly. Just received an e-mail... “ MSC will not allow any international guests booked through U.S. agencies to pre-register for their cruise on line“ and ik the same e-mail “ Registration must be completed at least 24 hours prior to your sail date“. That’s strange... but we will see.
Good customer service.
Booked a Panama Canal cruise and we had a great time. upon our return I discovered that I did not receive my shipboard credit. I phoned on May 8th 2019 and i spoke to Eddie. After a brief chat Eddie agreed that i never received my credit and he stated that i would receive a check in 6 to 8 weeks. I received my check in 5 weeks.
Avoid this company
Sorry to write one more bad review.
I recommend to avoid this company!
We're selected and paid for cabin with good view. 3 month later cruise.com /MSC replaced it for worst one in same category without notice. The company also not helped to buy shuttle from/to ship.
We've called cruise.com from the ship and they said that all rooms are sold out and there is nothing to do with that.
Poor Communication- Greedy Company
I should’ve looked online and read the reviews before I book this cruise vacation . I always wanted to visit Cuba and I went online and I thought I was getting a great deal end of the day I am paying more money. I was not advised that I had to pay more money for visas to visit Cuba and if I didn’t buy a tour I would not be able to disembark the ship. I told the agent I was taking the cruise because it was my girlfriend’s birthday and they never put that in the system if I did not call the cruise line I would’ve had more problems. Terrible service , poor communication and wish I never booked with this company

Do not use cruise.com for booking!!
Do not use cruise.com for booking!!! Not helpful at all. Booked my cruise and when there was a huge price drop. 300.00 per cabin, I booked two cabins they would do nothing about it!!! Book directly through the cruise lines in the long run it will be cheaper! Will never use them again
Beware, you won't get all the perks on the website.
Their website clearly stated balconies and above would receive prepaid gratuities. This was the only thing that made their offer better than their competitors.
On the cruise, daily gratuities were not prepaid. I called customer service, and after an hour long wait, was told sorry, it's not on your invoice, nothing we can do. Agent flat out admitted she did not care if I took my business elsewhere in the future.
I had taken a screenshot from the website showing the prepaid gratuities at the time I booked, and sent this to their customer support address. Was told, no, you didn't qualify for that promotion, despite my screenshot showing that I did.
While they do seem to offer the best deals IF you get all the advertised perks (and that's a big IF) the apathy of their customer service rivals the local cable company. But unlike the cable company, there are PLENTY of other companies to book cruises through.
False Advertising
False Advertising - They advertise a deal for a cruise on Kayak.com, when you click on it the correct price still shows up, when you try to book it it says no longer available and the price shoots up $200 per person. It's been like this for 2 days. Get it together.
Worst Travel Agency in Florida
False Advertisements, Deceptive OnBoard Credit Advertisement, Extremely Poor Customer service, Rude Employees And Very Rude Management Operation team. Stay far from Cruise.com. Unless you don’t know any better. This company will not pay you any more that $10 an hour even if you have a Doctorate degree. (That should explain it all) also they show favoritism to certain supervisors & certain employees.
Credit Card Charged more than Final Invoice. Unable to get refund. I booked an Alaskan cruise on Norwegian…
I booked an Alaskan cruise on Norwegian Cruise line back on September 14, 2018 for a May 2019 sail date.
Final invoice was due 1/15/19. I called cruise.com when my credit card was charged $120 more than the final invoice due. At first they didn't have an answer for the reason and researched and said they would get back to me. I spoke to several other representatives all who promised to call me back or would pass the message along to the original booking agent. On 1/17/19, The original booking agent called me back only to say that Norwegian took away a promotion that I had received and there was nothing Cruise.com could do about it. I said, not my problem, you charged my card an unauthorized amount and if the price changed, you should have notified me prior to charging my card. Agent said he spoke to his manager and they offered me an additional $50 onboarding credit for my troubles. I want refunded the $120 additional charge that was unauthorized and made to my card. Still waiting for supervisor to call me back after 4 weeks. Cruise.com refuses to let you speak to a supervisor and when they say one will call you back, they never do. MyLast call was on 1/26/19 with M. Harrison from Cruise.com and a conference call with Norwegian directly(Wendy) NCL rep and Cruise.com agent who confirmed that I was still eligible for promotion. We went through both 1/7 and 1/17 invoice item by item only to determine two differences. Cruise fare was $80 less on 1/17 invoice but $200 invoice credit for airfare promotion was removed and missing from 1/17/19 invoice. All prior invoices had this promotion and NCL confirmed I was still eligible for promotion. Cruise.com owes and needs to promptly refund me $120 to my credit card.
Left me with over U$1900 non reffundable airline tickets!!
They Confirmed my cruise wich was payed on one payment with my credit card, one day latter they cancelled my cruise with Princess Cruises with the excuse that they are not authorized to sell to non Us residents.....leaving me with non reffundable airline tickets to Buenos Aires for all my family!!!!
Go directly to the cruise line's website
I just booked a cruise with them and then realized that if I would it just went directly to carnivals website I would have saved over $200. I will never use them again. When I called them they tried to tell me I was wrong and would not allow me to cancel my reservation. Don't use them!!@!

Booked 20,000 worth in rooms for a cruise. Rep left which had all the details of 4 families travelling and they were unable to give me a dedicated rep to give the families to discuss any questions they had on the trip, or to get help from them.
I would never book with this company again.
Their free promos are all filled with extremely fine print and should be constituted as false advertising as well.

I have tried to sign up for their affiliate program to sell cruises.
My contact person was Claudia Ashboune, who did not respond to Emails or phone calls. On one occasion I was tarnsferred to Kathy Samaroo, supposedly Claudia's supervisor. She was rude and condescending with me on the phone. A feew days later I called, and talked with the program director of the affiliate service; Stewart Lowery. There was not one hint of apology, he repeatedly told me that if I have pproblems with the associates I should not proceed with the program.
I thought this program would work for me, so I filled out the paperwork, including my CC number for the price of the course of $ 349.
To my biggest surprise I found TWO charges from the company for $349. I tried to call Claudia, who of course, was not available. I asked for Mr. Lowery, who , of course, is out of the office. After several tries I talked with Claudia, who had no idea why I was charged twice.
I asked for an immediate refund and cancellation of the whole program.
I feel that this program is a total fraud, and BBB should investigate it in detail.
The WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!
The WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!! I will NEVER use this company to book a cruise EVER again!!! There were things she had told me that were not included on my invoice!! We also were supposedly with a group and didn’t get the group rate but paid double!! I have called and left detailed massages my phone number, name, reason I’m calling and the cruise specialist if you want to call her that can not seem to return a call!! I have emailed many times and the only response I got if I got one was a invoice sent to me!! KIM has made this experience awful!!! There are also other in the group that has problems with her! This is supposed to be a pleasant experience and an exciting time!! At one point I was on the phone 1 hour and 25 minutes with still no resolution!! Still no resolution to this day!! NEVER again!! Vacationstogo.com they were absolutely AMAZING the last cruise I booked!! I will definitely refer them!! NO ONE should ever have to go through this MESS to go on a vacation!!
VERY BAD SERVICE
VERY BAD SERVICE. They make you wait on the line for long time and transfer between agents. We had to cancel the cruise due to illness and they won't do that. If we booked directly through the cruise line even if you did not buy the insurance, they will give you back credit. On top of that, they charge extra admin fees. Booking directly through cruise line is much better.
WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN

Please don't trust cruise.com. They told you one thing to close the sale and them if you have any situation they will said the oposite. Its always a better option to go through the Cruise company, you will have more rights in case you want to do any claim.
