Croydon Veterinary Practice is an absolute disgrace. They do not care one bit about animals — only about money, money, money. Compassion? Zero. Customer service? Non-existent.

The receptionist thinks it’s funny to make clients believe their pet has died — yes, you read that correctly. What kind of sick, twisted “joke” is that in a place that’s supposed to care for animals and reassure worried owners? Absolutely vile.

They overcharge, they lie, and they’ll tell you your pet has been microchipped when it hasn’t — only to call you weeks later to say “Oh, the microchip has now been found.” Completely unacceptable and beyond unprofessional. We didn’t know it was missing. It should’ve been in the kitten.

The vet doesn’t know what surgery he is doing we had to remind him just as he is taking our pet in! Confused and baffled he was

I don’t even want to imagine how filthy and unhygienic their practice must be behind the scenes, given they found my pets microchip 2 weeks later when it should have been implanted

It was one failing after another from the vet not knowing what he was doing to being overcharged to having terrible customer service. The list is endless. This review is the tip of the iceberg of how bad our experience has been.

Do they not clean every day? Do they not clean after every pet, two weeks? !!!

If you value your pet’s health and your sanity, avoid this place like the plague.

I have had many emails backwards and forwards to management trying to say I want to leave because I have no trust in them at all, no confidence in their ability and they will not let me leave my VIP plan! They just want our money

They just do not care. I cannot stress that enough they only want you to carry on paying. They’re not sorry. They don’t take any accountability for all of their failings.

I have tried endlessly to speak to them and sort things out and they refuse to speak to me on the phone.

I've just called them this afternoon as an injured fox was found about 500 yards from there practice. They refused to help.

Initially they tried to say they don't help foxes, then when told a vet has a moral and ethical duty to treat wildlife, they said they weren't refusing, but there vet was in surgery. I then spoke to who i presume was a manager who told me they are refusing to help on safety grounds and they don't have the right equipment. When asked what safety grounds and equipment she said she didn't know and was just repeating what she had been told.

Another local vet I called immediately offered to help and treated the animal with incredible kindness. Croydon Vetinary Surgery completely failed this poor creature. I would strongly urge anyone who cares about wildlife to avoid this place.
