Placed an order on June 19th, was told it would take 8 weeks. Item has not been received. Despite lots of emails, there is no response from seller & no sign of a refund. Currently lodging a refund request through PayPal. Would not recommend this company.

I needed a DJI Smart Controller in quick-time ready for a job a couple of days later. I ordered around 3pm and received it at 0730 the next morning! Had a quick call from Simon shortly after ordering and had a follow up email to make sure all was well. Fantastic company, fast delivery and great customer service. No complaints at all. I had my doubts when I read some recent reviews and over a week had elapsed with no notification of despatch for my order. After a couple of unanswered "chats" Simon got back to me late yesterday afternoon, promised to sort the problem and the Easy Cover was delivered this morning. Don't know what the original problem was, but can't fault the prompt response and the product is excellent.

Purchased some film from Crooked Imaging on 12th May, told some of it was on back order.
I have been chasing it ever since (LOTS of emails), the early ones got replies telling me it would "be chased up", but I have not had any replies since 28th July, there is no answer on their phone number, and the online chat is not being responded to.
Have started a claim through PayPal.
Avoid!
(It's a shame, they used to be a good company).

I purchased a new Black Rapid camera strap on 20 July 2020 and to date, I have not received my product.
I have tried chasing up the order via emails and have received the excuse, that the mail is slow due.
Strange!!!!!!
I have recently purchased a number of new products from two other retailers, including a new D7500 body and Lens and both were received within two days.
I certainly won’t be using Crooked in the future.
I’m glad I paid using PayPal, they can sort it out.

Ive read through the forums, that this company is going bust- I paid on paypal, Seller accepted refund, but his bank bounced the payment, which meant paypal had to step in.
Paypal pretty much said, the only way a refund can be stopped in this process was insufficient money in his business bank.

Ive tried numerous times, to contact this shop, via email, and phone- yet you cannot get through.

I genuinely hope, anyone buying through the website uses paypal. Because if you havent, youve lost your money..

Scammers

I went to purchase a Moza Aircross gimbal from this company's website at £198. I clicked to add to basket & applied the 5% email discount code. Total £188.10 or so.

I then got called away to do something.

When I came back 4 hours later I had an email saying the item was left in the cart, so I carried on with the purchase. Just before I went to click submit on the payment, I noticed the price had SHOT UP by £50 to £247!!

Their "24/7 ONLINE SUPPORT" has ignored my messages about this problem.

Had some equipment to offload due to an upgrade. Had a prompt response from Simon including emails outside of office hours. Our business was concluded swiftly and hassle free. Would definitely recommend.

Complete scam, how they are still operating is beyond me. Faye is the one who answers the calls and pretends as if Simon is busy. Makes up lie after lie its either she doesn't have the details on her system( which she did the first time I called after my order) or Simon is apparently with a customer. Not a single email, phone call or any sort of update. I've spent the whole day calling them without success to finally get through and get told these silly excuses.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY THE GOOD REVIEWS ARE FAKE!!

All of the positive reviews are fake. Don't bother wasting your hard earned money on this business. The name says it all (CROOKED).

I have purchased a product on the 02 June 2019 and still to this day I haven't received it. A lie after lie is all I'm getting.

Great products, but delivery and customer service lacking. Had to wait over a week for items to be dispatched. I felt that the owners (I'm assuming a husband and wife team) were a little dishonest in their replies to my emails. Would have bought again as the products are great.

I selected these guys are they are a local business to me. The order was placed on 14th Dec, I was hopeful this would arrive in time for Christmas. Sadly the order was lost (Royal Mail) and has never arrived (29 Jan). As yet very little communication from Simon, one can only assume my business is of little value to the company as that is certainly how I feel. At this time I have no product, no refund (recently requested) and very poor communication or proactive resolution.

I was even prepared to spend more money with these guys on additional products, but they really didnt seem interested. Its a shame as they could have turned my poor experience into a good one by good communication.

Sadly I cant recommend these guys based on my experience.

I ordered a £400 Irix lens 4 weeks ago. Never realised at time I was signing up to a waiting list for an item which is in stock with Irix. I called Simon to request a refund. I was told it will be with me in one week that there was a run on their stock hence delay. I checked with Irix who advised there is no supply issue. Two weeks later nothing arrived so contacted Simon via email. Advised will ship within 2 days with tracking from Irix. Over one week later I have had no update. Simon not returning calls or emails now and has ignored requests for refund which I am entitled to under consumer act. I am now £400 down. I have only ever been polite. I am disappointed with the treatmentment from Crooked Imaging. I will edit this review when I have an update.

Waiting 6 weeks on a product. Sent 2 emails. No reply. When I raised a refund case in PayPal - surprise surprise! Got an email back straight away. A rather sarcastic one saying that I WOULD have been first in line. Simon Crook also said he'd replied to my past email. I asked for a screen grab.

This is when it got silly. He sent me a screen grab of a reply to my original email - but it was clearly UNSENT! It still had the cursor in the text!

To add insult to injury, the exact same item is next day delivery on Amazon!

Recently bought a camera tripod, and the service was prompt, delivery good, communication good, price competitive, product information efficient - can certainly recommend Crooked Imaging!

What I like most is Simon's love of photography, level of knowledge and infectious enthusiasm. Great service and both times I've visited the show room I've learnt something new.

Crooked Imaging were very helpful with a great product and service!! Can't wait to use again :-)

Great service from Simon ...I have ordered online and visited him at his business in Strood....and his help in choosing filters was invaluable.
I would recommend him highly.
