Great quality shutters and they look fabulous. I wouldn't have any hesitation in recommending Craftsman Shutters, Toby is a very trust worthy person and I had no worries leaving him to work in our home unattended. Brilliant service and excellent shutters. Sam and team were responsible and helpful from the first contact to fitting and kept us fully informed of dates and timings etc. The only problem we have is that some old shutters in our house now look like they need to be replaced ! Highly recommended.

Friendly local company, great price, fantastic products
Really friendly local company and great couple to deal with. Quoting was really straightforward and simple, and our choices were clearly explained. The product itself is solid and well made, and the fitting was quick and clean. The only wait is for the manufacturing process; this is the same for any of the companies, but the difference here is that you get much better value using this small local business than using one of the big national companies. Recommended!

If I could give more stars ⭐️ I would give CRAFTSMEN SHUTTERS 10/10. They are very reliable, honest and trustworthy people, I cannot fault toby & Sam in anything. I love the quality, Colour, and style off my shutters . I have ordered my last set off shutters for my kitchen and on completion I will be sad to see them go. I have and I will continue to highly recommend them. Thank you Sam & Toby my house looks amazing.

Good quality wooden shutters
Good quality wooden shutters, great price. The only downside was the turnaround which it was supposed to be 2 months from the deposit and it turned out to be 3 months as apparently the provider is in china and it was closed for 3 weeks over Chinese NY. This was never told us until what it was supposed to be our fitting week, so really miscommunicated. Nice shutters overall.

We are really sorry about the delay and apologised to you many times about it as there was nothing we could have done about it.
We are just dealers and we can only do our best to satisfy our clients which we did by supplying and fitting your shutters to the highest standard but delivery lead is out of our hands unfortunately.
We did get in touch with you as soon as we found out there were delayed and kept you updated almost on a weekly basis. We gave you your ETA few weeks before fitting so it's unfair to say we never told you until the week we fitted them. There surely was no miscommunication as we have sent dozens of emails during the whole process.
Also, once your shutters arrived, you waited 3 weeks for them to be fitted so we had to have them in a storage at no cost to you as a gesture of good will and we also gave you a huge discount on your shutters which should compensate for the inconvenience.
You even mentioned that we were like 50% cheaper than the other quotes you got so you were happy about it. Thanks for your business.
We are very sorry again for the inconvenience.

Excellent Service and fantastic Quality Shutters
Toby & Sam provided an excellent service. They responded quickly to phone and email enquiries and kept me updated throughout the whole process.
I sought 5 quotes for having plantation shutters installed at my property. One for a bay window and two for the upstairs bedroom. They were the most competitive not only on price, but also on the material. I received quotes for the same and greater price but only for MDF, whereas the shutters installed by Craftsmen are fantastic wooden shutters. Additionally, their quoted timeframe was again quicker than other providers (2months vs 3months for all other quotes).
The quote provided not only gave the price and description of the shutters but also included a digital diagram of exactly what the shutters would look like which allowed for me to change my mind several times about certain features. I can't recommend this feature enough.
Installation of the blinds took about 2-3 hours and the finish is excellent. Toby is a trained carpenter and as such makes the shutters fit seamlessly into the current window frame. Other companies that I received quotes from suggested that there would be gaps between shutter panels on the bay window which would have looked untidy, whereas those now installed look like they are part of the whole window frame.
Sam & Toby are extremely friendly, arrived on time for the appointments, were polite and cleaned up after themselves. They are a small, two person local family business and clearly take great pride in their work. I would highly recommend them and would have no hesitation of using their services again in the future.
