Stewart arrived and got the job done!

After struggling to find someone that specialised in compact laminate, i came across Stewart. After reaching out to him and a few WhatsApp messages, providing videos and images of what needed doing we got a day booked in (the next week). He turned up early (6am) and spent a-lot of time talking us through things, and asking questions so we were on the same page, things that you wouldn't normally get from a tradesman. What an amazing job he’s done and he is very professional. He goes above and beyond to make sure you’re happy with everything and attention to detail is perfect.

A fantastic job. Worktops are a huge improvement on previously. Very quickly responded to our initial enquiries and date for installation organised promptly. On the day was punctual,pleasant and considerate.Is clearly very keen on doing a a good job and with a high level of personal expectation and expertise. Definitely recommend.

I was initially having a hard time finding anyone to look at fitting a compact laminate worktop until I found Stewart. I sent him a quick video of the kitchen over WhatsApp and within an hour had a quote and then a provisional date a few after hours after that. Comms was brilliant throughout the process and even managed to bring the date forward by a few days.

He and Martin turned up very early in the morning (yes 5:30!). They did a fantastic job working around uneven surfaces, tiles, pipes I have coming from the boiler and lowering some other bits for a new oven that came the following day due to the new worktop being 12mm vs the 40mm I had previously. Both the worktop, along with the plumbing for the new sink/taps was all finished to a high standard (can barely see the join which is on a light surface) and they ensured I was involved in the decision making throughout the day.

Stewart turned up at the agreed time and took time to discuss options with my wife and I to ensure that the best finish was achieved. Stewart profesional mindset was very clear to see from the start of his time with us today, there was no rush for him to travel back home even though it was a drive of over 2 hours which. I would highly recomend Stewart he is an exceptionaly professional tradesman. Thank you for a great job.

Stewart and Martin were nothing less than brilliant. Stewart arrived at 5.30am as planned and left at 9.30pm. The standard of work was exceptional. The communication prior was excellent, planning something remotely could easily lead to errors, but Stewart considered everything and nothing was left to chance. On the day Stewart and Martin consulted with me on every decision, I made a few adaptions along the way, which was never a problem, the end result is stunning.

I am a real stickler for attention to detail and often feel that in the modern world, there is a view of 'it will do' as opposed to 'let's do the best we can' . Stewart and Martin fall into the latter, they are true craftsmen.

I 100% reccomend Stewart and Martin, nothing was too much trouble, the job was completed to a exceptional standard and everything was left clean and tidy.

We had our worktops fitted last week by Stewart/ Mr worktop fitter/Daddy 😊.We were looking for a good fitter and after seen his website and his private account with hundreds of videos and loads of good reviews we knew he is the one we are after!!! Stewart arrived early as possible around 5:30am and I’m happy about that as he straight jumped on the job. Whole process was straightforward with explaining what he needs to do to get end result. I spent all day with him to see the end result for our 28mm laminate worktops and help him if needed. Which I’m not fuss about. His attention to details is remarkable.He won’t cut corners to get it done quicker as he is proud of what he does! Results were brilliant and we even decided to make a dining table worktop from breakfast bar off-cut which I payed him extra for that job and all came just amazing! 🤩 He worked good 12+ hours without a single break which in my opinion is hard. Now I know why he is #Worktop Daddy because is the Top Man in his job!!!
I would highly RECOMMEND anyone get him on your kitchens worktop job. You won’t regret!!

100% recommend. Stewart arrived bright and early at 6am and continuously worked until the job was done 12+ hours later. He overcame all the problems that unexpectedly arose, from our uneven walls to our questionable choice of sink! (Sorry again Stewart)
He is dedicated to providing the best finish possible for his clients and his attention to detail is remarkable.

We also purchased our worktops through Stewart and this couldn't have been any easier, he kept us fully updated with delivery schedule right up to the hour before it arrived.

I contacted Stuart to do what I thought would have been a straightforward job. But all the obstacles he encountered once into the job and he passed all the tests. An old Victorian property with not perfect straight walls and 90 degrees corners which weren't true. But he overcame all these problems and did an outstanding job. A truly perfect fit. He works alone and if you're ok with giving him a hand and are happy with a 6am start, he does the job. Non stop working and meticulous towards every details. Cannot recommend him enough. A true craftsman.

Stewart recently installed a compact laminate worktop for me and did a fantastic job!
I put an initial enquiry on Stewarts web page and he contacted me within minutes to talk thoroughly about the job. I sent him the images of my kitchen design and he returned a quote which was very competitive considering I live in Cardiff and Stewart is in Kettering. 320 mile round trip! Stewarts website, attention to detail and the fact that he took the job on considering where I lived gave me a lot of confidence. He turned up bang on time on the day and got straight to work, producing an excellent finished product. Would definitely recommend Stewart to anyone who wants a quality job done, with super attention to detail.
Top professional!

I regard myself as a competent DIYer but cutting worktops I decided to leave to the professionals. Thank goodness I did. I think if I had tried I'd still be trying 2 weeks down the line and probably on my second set of work tops.
Stewart was on site bright and early to start as planned and continued through until he had finished a great job. Worked me hard as his labourer. Finish high quality and standard. Did everything possible to ensure a great finish.
The cutting looks easy once you have all the tools and jigs but it's the experience of planning and measuring for joints and cut outs and the advice he gives you pay for.
Next kitchen I do I'll be calling on him again.

Be warned, Stewart turns up early and goes through until all is finished.
We recently purchased a Howdens kitchen and opted for the compact laminate worktop.
A nice product that looks great.. here is another warning… not many kitchen fitters like this product, it’s a b@tch to cut and put grooves in for the sink drainage( we opted for no grooves in the end).
Stewart turned up (as I said.. early, 6am) , got straight on with the job after explaining everything thoroughly.
Very pleased with his attention to detail and recommendations along the way.

Well .. Mr Worktop Fitter saved our kitchen worktops!! We had an absolutely fantastic service from Stewart from the first initial contact through to the finished product. We contacted him after having a really bad experience with another person who damaged our new kitchen worktops. I contacted Stewart on the Tuesday night and he was with us at 6.30am the next morning. He managed to salvage and correctly install our new Durapol laminate worktops. These were measured and cut to precision using only the best tools and skills. We could tell Stewart was an expert at his job and was extremely professional, knowledgable and friendly. He did an amazing job and we are delighted with the finished result. So pleased I contacted him and we will use again and strongly recommend his work. Excellent tradesperson. Best we’ve met! Thank you for your help and excellent work.
