Had a few issues at the start of my tenancy which could've been avoided if their Rightmove listing was correct and also their pre-tenancy inspection had been a bit more thorough (flat was handed over to me with various cleaning issues - rubbish in bins, dirty oven, thick dust, stained mattress, etc. - as well as a broken bed frame and quite a lot of the landlord's personal belongings left behind which I was left to pack up).

But that being said, I've had some excellent customer service from certain members of their team since then - in particular, Zara from the maintenance team, and Jordan who dealt with my move out. Honestly can't thank them enough for how amazing they were to deal with - so helpful and friendly.

Overall - would recommend.

The services from CPS as been excellent

Recently sold my house with CPS (Spencer Road, Derry) and worked closely with Kevin Cross who was extremely helpful throughout the whole process. Kevin made the experience a lot more positive as i previously had issues with a very well known estate agents in the town. Kevin called me and asked why my house had still not been sold and he assured me he could have the house gone within 5 weeks, not even 4 weeks later I had a sale agreed. Could not recommend CPS more.

I had a very positive experience with CPS Homes throughout my tenancy, and I would particularly like to thank Jordan for his outstanding support and professionalism.

Although my overall living experience was affected by issues with a neighbouring tenant, the service I received from CPS Homes was excellent from start to finish. Jordan was always approachable, responsive, and willing to help whenever I needed assistance. He guided me through every stage of my tenancy and was especially helpful during my move-out process, making what could have been a stressful situation much smoother.

Communication was always clear, and I felt supported whenever any issues arose. The end-of-tenancy process was handled efficiently and professionally, and I was pleased to receive confirmation that my deposit would be returned in full.

I am genuinely grateful for the help and support Jordan provided throughout my tenancy. His dedication to customer service reflects very positively on CPS Homes, and I would happily recommend both Jordan and CPS Homes to anyone looking for a professional and reliable letting agency.

Absolutely useless.

They use AI in their photos, yes its specified however the furniture they added via AI makes the property's sizing look COMPLETELY different to in person, as in, half the size. We had our viewings cancelled less than an hour before the viewings were due and when we did finally get a viewing, they had no idea about the property. The listing stated "with white goods" and there wasn't and the agent didn't even have a clue about any of it. They also couldn't answer any of our basic questions about the property like what council tax bracket it was, etc.

Overall we will not be going anywhere near properties that are posted by CPS Homes, genuinely awful experience.

Florence and Scott did a wonderful job marketing my property for rental. The advert looked excellent and the property was let quickly.

I don't usually write these reviews, and in fact, I've had 'interesting' dealings with CPS Homes in the past, however, I think one should be as quick to praise as they are to criticise...

I must say that lately, their service managing the apartment I rent has been fantastic. Since introducing the online repair reporting and management system, sorting issues has become very easy. The company feels like its listening and trying to respond to customers' needs. Also, I fed back last year that the tenancy renewal emails were unduly aggressive and threatening; this year, the phrasing was very different and much appreciated.

Finally, Jordan is a credit to be company; I've found him to consistently pleasant, professional, knowledgeable and helpful. He communicates well, and this helped enormously - even when the primary issue had not yet been solved. Folks like him have a talent for managing people and is hopefully valued within the company.

I want to thank CPS Homes for all their help with my rental property, especially.

I lived in a property on Cosmeston Street with severe damp and mould that was never properly fixed, despite repeatedly reporting it. The situation got so bad I had mould covering my bedroom and even mushrooms growing inside the property.

Their “solutions” were ineffective — at one point I was told to use a fan, which did nothing. A dehumidifier was later provided, but it made no difference.
After being away briefly, I came back to find my belongings covered in mould and my bed soaking wet. The property became completely uninhabitable, and I had no choice but to move out due to health concerns.

Very poor handling of serious issues and a clear lack of care for tenants. I would not recommend renting from them.

I had a really positive experience with CPS Homes. The whole process was smooth and well managed from start to finish. Nikki and Rhys were especially professional and helpful throughout, they were always responsive, clear in their communication, and made everything feel straightforward and stress free. I’d definitely recommend CPS Homes to anyone looking for a reliable and supportive team.

We have had a few issues with our apartment and all the staff have been extremely helpful in getting it all sorted. Jordan Parry has been exceptional dealing with our tenant, the management, the neighbours and ourselves. He has taken all the stress out of the problems that have arisen and has kept us informed throughout this time.

Simple to deal with and answered all my questions. Agent was on time and easy to deal with

Nikki was awesome, I was stressed about renewing our contract because of some complex financial situations but it was a lot easier than I thought it would be :)

Do not rent with these people.

I'm staying in a building that is managed and owned by CPS (my landlord is the founder of CPS).

The building has had active bed bug infestation for 6 months. I paid to have my flat treated multiple times, but the issue has persisted.

Whilst CPS staff are kind and doing the best they can under the unethical practices set out by their management, there is no urgency in resolving issues and they do not care about tenants.

It has taken environmental health intervention, and over 6 months to have CPS agree to treat the building.

I have been refused reimbursement for the fee I paid and have been repeatedly misled and lied to. Thankfully CPS has agreed to release me from my contract.

EDIT:

CPS response is another lie. They have dug their heels in throughout this process and have been extremely slow and irresponsible. Any limited involvement was because of environmental health and not CPS.

It's telling that they are unable to go into any details in their reply, as they go into the details for other negative reviews about active rental situations.

CPS did not even look for evidence, consider or investigate the wider building until four months after, which was led by environmental health and found bed bugs in the communal areas. Since then, bugs have been found in other flats.

I want to emphasize that the landlord for the infested building is the CEO of CPS homes. If this is the standard the CEO is willing to accept, it clearly sets the tone for how issues in their other rentals are dealt with.

CPS tried to get this review taken down, but trust pilot rejected their request.

Your colleagues who showed us around the property was excellent, answered all our questions showing excellent knowledge about property, was honest with his answers, I would recommend COS Homes .

Prompt and helpful service! Sold 2 of our properties within the first month of listing them on the market. Will definitely recommend CPS. We also use them for rentals and have had no problems whatsoever. Efficient and professional.
