EV Charger Installed
There was plenty of availability to have my EV charger installed within a few days. Once installed though, there were several teething issues which the Costelloes didn’t assist with/were unable to rectify. It was left to me to look elsewhere to have the problems rectified.

As a company that prides itself on providing first-class customer service and prioritising customers who have their EVs and need quick installation turnarounds, we have found this review to be very disappointing and misleading.
A Zappi charger was installed within days of the customer's initial contact and proceeded without any issues. As the customer has a Givenergy solar and battery system, our engineers contacted Givenergy to double-check the best placement of the secondary CT clamp to monitor excess solar production. The Givenergy team noted that the battery firmware was outdated and initiated an 'Over The Air' update. Unfortunately, this update locked out at 90% and caused issues with the WiFi dongle, unbeknownst to our engineer or us.
The following day (Friday), our director attended to try and rectify the issue as we are Givenergy installers, but he was unable to get the dongle to reconnect to the internet. The customer told our director that he would try to get it connected and move the WiFi boosters around the house.
Over the weekend, the system was offline and came back to life on a Monday afternoon.
Our engineers cannot change any of the settings on the Givenergy system as we did not carry out the original installation.
You are entitled to your opinion, and we take into account the comments from all our reviews. However, the review that has been left insinuates that we left a customer with a faulty charger when it was an unrelated firmware update of their solar/battery system initiated by the manufacturer over which we had no control.
We use Trustpilot as it allows people to leave honest reviews, and we also have the opportunity to reply with our side of events.
Hopefully, this one 3-star review will not put future customers off, and they will scroll through the hundreds of 5-star reviews that we have worked very hard to achieve.

Had a relationship with this firm since 2021. So far two EV chargers and a solar system and battery. Nothing too much trouble, very responsive and above all else trustworthy. Have taken care of our house and treated it with care and attention leaving it spotless afterwards. Happy to recommend for all solar, battery and EV related needs. I won't be going anywhere else.

Contacted via website for a quote for the work on Sunday, got an estimate on Monday. Cable ordered and fitted by Thursday - great service.

Issue but sorted out quickly
I’ve had a home home pro fitted pretty seamlessly except they installed a ohme e pod rather than a home pro this was quickly sorted as they came back the next day to fix the issue

We had five garden lights fitted and two timer switches.
The lads worked round another company fitting our garden fence, both teams worked around each other.
Reliable, arrived on time, job done. Highly recommended for any electrical requirements.
