I'd give this company a zero star rating if I could!!
Chose and booked in January Close to Rose Kennedy in Boston for 4 nights in June. They debited my account straight away for the full total of the booking.
Fast forward to April and I get a message from booking.com to say the hosts had cancelled. I've been trying to get my money refunded ever since with no joy. The Company say it's been an error with booking.com and it's them that have cancelled. The company said they could still host us. I wasn't taking the risk and had already booked alternative accommodation.
Now the company are ignoring my emails after initially blaming some payment process for not working to refund me. Then asked me for my bank details to refund the money. I wouldn't even trust them again.
I've been going round in circles between the company and booking.com trying to get this resolved. Has anyone had any luck with refunds?
For anyone thinking of booking any of their properties...... Don't waste your time or money. Massive scam springs to mind. $570 may not be a lot to them, but it is to me. And I see other people have been scammed out of even more money than I have. It's a disgrace that they are still trading!!!
I also emailed corporate housing and they said the booking was nothing to do with them. Even though it was their name that appeared on my card payment.

****Also take a look at all the recent positive reviews being left for both SOBENY and Corporate Housing. No doubt another part of the scam to raise their score after so many negative reviews from REAL CUSTOMERS!!!*****

Service of Corporate housing was really briliant and very helpfull. They arranged very good accomodation for me since my previous one was cancelled. Was even better than the one I had. Thanks :)

I booked with them late last year for a NYC trip with the family. It was super high pressure to get the paperwork in and paid and that was unusual and they were very aggressive to charge my credit card when it did not go though the first time (this never happens to me). This should raised red flags, but I'm a longtime member of Booking.com and that's accounts for something, right? Wrong. I figured something was off as my trip got closer and contacted them. Sure enough I was cancelled and like so many else, they lie and cheat and drag their feet and then stop responding with no refund given. I've been contact in other placed by their reservations team to remove my bad reviews in exchange for stays and asserted I've been refunded. I really thing they are delusional and don't book when them. If it's on a travel site under another name and corphousing group appears on your contract, contact your credit card immediately.

This company has perfected the art of fleecing customers by what is now a publicly traded company. I look forward with great anticipation to their quarterly report to see if they are going to actually report the income from this. I've noticed that SOBENY is mostly defunct from all the bad reviews and the newer LUXURBAN seems to have started the trend of pocketing the funds of cancelled reservations as of late too. I guess it's easier to get away with this than acting in good faith. And yes, I got scammed by them myself so I've paid for this review and I'd have more luck beating my head against the wall than getting them to issue a simple refund.

Fraudulent company using booking.com to scam people.

We booked accommodation in Boston (Boston West Accommodations) with this company via Booking.com and paid in full upon booking.

Fast forward 5 months, we arrive in Boston and they cancel our booking, leaving us high and dry in an unfamiliar city. They then failed to engage, answer the phone or message. Booking.com endorse this company somehow, despite repeat complaints from people of the same nature.

Corphousing Group (also parading as SoBeNY) will make you feel they are legitimate initially and are quick to respond to messages - however, in hindsight, they did ask for all manner of ID from us and we had to sign a “contract” upon making our booking, even stating that we wouldn’t talk to the security people at the site….Hmm, 🚩 (the benefit of hindsight!).

They trick you right to the last moment. I was in contact right up until arriving in Boston 3 hours prior and they said they would send us all the details and looked forward to welcoming us. Yet….As soon as we arrived at Boston and again asked for the apartment details, we received the following message:

“ Urgent Notification about your upcoming reservation-
Thank you for your interest in staying with us. SobeNY prides itself in providing the very best experience for each of our guests. Presently we are experiencing a problem with the property and/or listing you sought to book, and are unable to provide the experience we would have hoped to provide. We are in the midst of several software transitions to improve our guest's experience and are still working through the kinks. Unfortunately, we need to cancel your upcoming reservation. We sincerely apologize for this inconvenience.”

They then blanked all my calls and I had to pay an extortionate price to stay somewhere else in Boston that evening, at extremely late notice.

If I had been a solo female traveller or a vulnerable person, this could have been an extremely dangerous situation. But of course, Corphousing couldn’t care less.

TOTAL SCAM ARTISTS - DON’T FALL VICTIM LIKE ME. They are dishonest and immoral.

It is a scam. Booked and went to were the aparment should be but it was not there.

Reserved and paid for a place in Seattle through them (they go by SobeNy as well) via Agoda.com in April 2022. The reservation was for June 24-27th. I emailed SobeNy, which i never do to reconfirm and they confirmed on June 19th the reservation was still active and good to go. Imagine my surprise when on June 21st they sent me a notice stating they "experienced a software transition/the unit isnt available" and they canceled my reservation without any recourse or offer for other options.

If you look on TripAdvisor this is a typical occurence for their business. They cancel at the last minute always stating "its a software issue".

Disgusting and horrible business id never book with again. They sent a notice on the following Tuesday June 28th about a refund taking place in 10-14 days, but the refund should have been processed immediately once they failed to provide my accommodations. Holding my money for 2 months and then dragging their feet for 2 more weeks. I immediately put in a credit card dispute because they are frauds and the credit card immediately refunded me.

This company is a shell game and they are using your funds to pay for their other listings and then rinse and repeat OR they book the room on multiple sites to the highest bidder. If a last minute person books on their direct website for a higher amount they will cancel the person who didnt pay as much and walk away without any penalties.
Meanwhile if you tried to cancel theyd make you wait around for 2 months fighting the charge. Ill be contacting the city of Seattle about this fraudulent short term listing which shouldnt have even been offered. The fact its not even listed on the Agoda anymore is suspect.

This "business" is a fraudulent scam, plain and simple. I attempted to book a stay at a hotel in NYC. The reservation did not go through and I received a notification saying the hotel was booked. Imagine
my surprise when I received not one, but three credit card charges over the course of the next few weeks totaling over $1,000 – for a hotel stay I was not allowed to even book. I have reached out dozens of times via phone and email over the past few weeks to get
this rectified, to no avail. No one has answered the phone the many times I've called and the 2-3 email responses were totally unhelpful. The people who run this "business" are thieves.

Do not book Sobeny Blakely Hotel

We have booked a hotel through Booking.com and canceled on time and should have gotten refunded. However, we were never refunded by the Corporate Housing.Com We contacted them several times.They now respond that they have sent a refund. But after 60 days w still have not got our 1030 dollars.
You can always get your money back from your bank if you make an objection. we just got it so now it is the bank that has to raise money from CorporateHousing.Com

Ordered through bookings.com cancelled since I found that the apartment I was about to rent was not located on fashion district but a block away from skid row. I had free cancellation and cancelled. I still haven’t received my refund even though they say the have refunded it. Their proof was a screenshot of a statement to me which did not include a reference or any dates. Their where a visible editing boks included in the screenshot, this is almost a month ago. Bookings says that they looked into case and they still haven’t refunded me. This is scam. Their entire operation is a scam.

Purchased the platinum package. Yes, they do offer a "guarantee" but it's not what it seems. They simply give you an additional six months FREE if you don't get a renter with 30 days. Well, that additional six months did not matter. I never got ONE single tenant from this site. I have a nice property. I had better luck with Craigs List, to be honest. This was a total waste of money for me. When I contacted them, the response was slow and they offered no help. When it came the to renew, I asked about the lack of inquiries in my area and received absolutely zero response. They simply cancelled my ad.

SCAM!!! The absolute worst company! I was told this originally that this was a NO RISK, GUARANTEED deal. After paying them $1,800 and a year of waiting I seen $0 from them in return. They’ve only sent six offers, all of which are so specific there is never any availability. I have no control over the situation and I’m stuck accepting the loss of my hard earned money. I called customer service and asked for the person in charge. I was then transferred to a guy named Rodney Douglas. He said there was nothing he could do to help so I asked for his supervisor. He then said “there is NO ONE over me. I then asked, so you’re the top guy, CEO, President, etc.” He said yes and insisted there was no one higher to speak with.
AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COST!!

Tha worst company I have ever advertised with they will take your money and you will get absolutely nothing in return. I had multiple places for rent and didn’t get a single lead.
They have NO customer service.

CHBO is a ripoff. They're the only service of that kind that offers no free trial period and absolutely no refunds, partial refunds, etc. Wonder why?? I should have known that was a major red flag, but I tried it anyway. We got ZERO leads from it the whole year (but our place gets booked very quicky with Airbnb long term rentals because it's a great place and a great deal). The website is a buggy outdated mess. Now we're fighting with their buggy website to stop getting reminder emails pushing us to re-subscribe and an unsubscribe button that doesn't work, and a contact page that doesn't work either. It's a mess and a rip off. Doesn't use any service like that if they offer no way to try it without paying for a year upfront, that should tell you they know it's not worth using.

I'm a first time rental provider. CHS contacted me regarding my RCI membership and using my six (6) bonus weeks. The person who called was courteous and responsive to questions. I was told that my 'extra vacation' or bonus weeks would be marketed for $1,600-$1,800 each. My upfront cost would be $400 (each) for a total of $2,400. I was a little leery of paying up front for services with no real guarantee even though the word was used repeatedly (the guarantee is not that they will use/rent my weeks nor that they would refund my money if they didn't process them within 6-months, rather, they only guaranteed that they would re-advertise them without additional cost to me). I was also put off by the pressure put on by the closer (validation department). I was sent a contract to sign and said that I would look it over and sign it when I returned home (I was driving when they called). She tried pressuring me to 'just look at it on my phone - it is easy to sign on a smart phone'. I wanted to read reviews about the company and prior users. The reviews were mixed - most were either 5-stars or 1-stars (majority). Most of the 1-star reviews appeared to reflect upon the vacation site rather than CHS. For this reason I decided to participate and made six (6) of my bonus weeks available (the maximum allowed). I will follow up with a review at the 3- and 6- month intervals to share my experience. I advertised with CHBO in the past and did not get one lead. Their customer service is the worst. It is the worst site I ever advertised with. Save your money go elsewhere!! I lost $435 and got nothing for it.

Horrible. No interest on the months that I show my property is available and a ton of emails I have to respond to on the months that I show my property is NOT available.
Expensive and waste of money
