My partner and I have booked an early morning (7ish) flight from Amsterdam to Crete on October 21st. We received a booking confirmation which only stated the date and our names, but not the times of the flights.
When we were sent the tickets on the 6th of October (2 weeks in advance), we found out they had changed our flight to an afternoon flight via Bodrum, no layover but just a stop where you stay on the plane. A 7-hour trip instead of a 3h20 flight, plus we would miss our first day of the holiday.
Now I know the rule is, that flight schedules can change up to 2 weeks before departure. This is stated in the fineprint. However, we have not been informed of the changes, meaning by the time we received our tickets we could only cancel/change flights by paying 75% of the total fee of the original flight, PLUS the fare for a new flight.
By not informing us (even though the information of the change was known before, since we found out other people had been able to check their new dates/times online) they made sure we could not cancel or rebook.
The cancellation fees within 14 days of departure are 75%. Which means, by the time they send you your flight information, you are already screwed. I strongly suspect the flight was already cancelled weeks in advance, since friends have tried to book the same flight in august and it was not available anymore. At the time, we thought it was just full. Now I think they just did not inform us to prevent us from cancelling free of charge. WHAT A SCAM!

Well .... After booking our hotel and flights through booking.com and then googling Corendon the next morning and reading the reviews on here, I promptly rushed into the nearest travel agent to ask their advise on whether I should change our carrier. I had my mind put to rest but I must admit I was still slightly dubious on our day of travel. Our experience in all honesty exceeded our expectations. We checked in 72 hours ahead as advised and the process was simple - we successfully and quickly chose our seats and a confirmation was sent immediately via email and SMS.

On the day of travel, at Antalya we saw that the 1100 STD had changed to 1110 - boarding was on-time and yes, we left the gate at 1110!

Onboard a very clean 737 we had the pleasure of 4 very professional crew members who gave us a nice service.

If I have one negative comment, it was that the cabin was very warm, even with the overhead airflow unit on full blast - I was quite uncomfortably warm (but that could be my age!)

The onboard service was a bit pricey but only what you would expect onboard any airline these days (€8 for a doner wrap) which my partner said was 'Ok'

Landed on-time at LGW - no hassle at all so my partner and I were very pleased with the whole experience!

Please don't be alarmed by the terrible reviews - our experience was good and we were definitely pleasantly surprised.

Echt boek hier niet. Onze vlucht in december is door Corendon Airlines geannuleerd wegend COVID 19. Hoe dan? In december. Aan de telefoon krijg je de ware reden te horen, ze gaan niet meer naar Las Palmas vliegen. We hadden een directe vlucht. Nu zitten we vast in Barcelona met kerst. Dat wordt een fijne overnachting op 1e kerstdag. Wat een deceptie. Zijn ook nog eens 400 euro meer kwijt aan de tickets. Het enige wat je hoort is; het spijt me zeer maar we kunnen niets voor je doen. BOEK HIER NIET!!

This company is a big scam. They will do ANYTHING to prevent you getting help asking for a partial refund because of flight delays.

They will redirect you to a different Corendon complaint management webpage at which you need to create a new account.

Half of the times the webpage gives an error. Clearly a way to demotivate customers from making damage claims.

When creating an account at said page (if it works eventually) a confirmation should be sent to your email. However, this mail will never arrive, not even in your spam folder (I have waited many hours). When trying to login directly after creating the account it will say "Invalid login".

Their "live" chat is never live and always offline. Calling them will get you into a MASSIVE queue and in the end they will tell you to fill out a form at the webpage which I just mentioned anyway....

It's mind-boggling how hard/impossible they make it for you. On the other side, creating a new booking account is done in less than a minute.....

It's literally impossible. This is a very sketchy company.

I don’t often write reviews, but thought a balanced review was deserved after reading so many horror stories!

First time flying with Corendon, a company I’d never heard of. After seeing the reviews I immediately regretted booking with them and was dreading a flight cancellation.

I did have a change of flight time, which was confirmed well ahead of the flight (not long after booking), this wasn’t an issue. On the day everything ran as smoothly as with any other airline. Plane was clean and modern, staff were friendly at check in and on the flight.

It was a positive experience

Har netop rejst fra Billund til Chania. Super fin service og sødt personale.

Hartelijk dank voor uw bericht. Wat ontzettend jammer dat uw verblijf in Sultan Sipahi niet geheel naar wens verloopt. Hoewel u reeds contact met de reisleiding heeft gehad hebben wij de lokale agent gevraagd om contact met u op te nemen en te kijken hoe uw onvrede kan worden opgelost.

U kunt ervanuit gaan dat u spoedig wordt gebeld op het bij boeking opgegeven telefoonnummer.

Wij vertrouwen erop u hiermee voldoende geïnformeerd te hebben.

Wat een onzin!! Wij moeten aan de balie 10euro p.p betalen omdat we niet online hebben ingecheckt!! Wat een onzin!! Dit doen wij nooit met de terugvlucht!! Omdat wij in Turkije geen internet hebben.. ook nog eens cash betalen en geen bon dat we betaald hebben. En dan schelden ze op ons dat wij geen respect hebben.. wat een onzin!! Voorons en achterons hebben de gezinnen dezelfde issue meegemaakt. Voor ons nooit meer corendon! Geldt ook voor de andere gezinnen hoor ik!

På vej hjem, bliver vores fly fra Corendon airlines forsinket i over 12 timer. 12 timer som blev brugt i uvished, da informationen fra selskabets personale, var stærkt begrænset. Som kompensation fik vi en tur, til et varmt vandhul, samt et shoppingcenter, uden nogen form for forplejning i de mange timer. Da vi så kom tilbage til lufthavnen kunne vi så starte forfra med sikkerheds- og paskontrol og derefter håbe på, at vi kunne komme hjem.
Vi kom så afsted efter de 12 timer, uden nogen form for beklagelse. Intet godt at fortælle om dette selskab. Rejs aldrig med det!

Hjemrejse fra Antalya, Tyrkiet - 11 timers forsinkelse - ingen kompensation, da rejsen er fra et ikke-euland og flyselskabet åbenbart har hjemsted i Tyrkiet (som heller ikke er EU) - derfor INGEN kompensation, selvom en herre fra Corendon Airlines uddelte sedler i lufthavnen til os passagerer, hvor der stod man kunne søge om kompensation på 400 euro pr. person.

Corendon schuift betaling aan lokale muzikanten op Curaçao na hun optreden op de lange baan. Na 2 maanden nog niets uitbetaald. Schande. Corendon Directie van Nederland wat is hierop uw reactie? Uitbuiting en machtsmisbruik van kleine ondernemers op Curaçao.

Airline cancelled our pre booked seat reservation (booked 1 year ago as we have a 4 year old and a 9 year old) 3 day before we fly they cancel the reservations and demand more money other wise as the customer service person worded it "we WILL assign them to random seats on the plane" pure scam airline

We arrive at the airport at 6am, the flight was supposed to be at 8:30. By the way, this was the inly airport (abd in turkey) where this company does not allow online check-in! Anyways we arrive there 2 hours and 30 minutes before, we wait until 8:30 without any news. All of the sudden the screen went white and no news were to be heard. They decided to depart at 10.45. Obviously we were not even on the plane at 10.45. After that we waited on the plane for other 20 minutes without any news. This company is absurd, not even an email to inform you about the delay. Never again!

Mocht niet van hotel veranderen ookal was er nog geen aanbetaling gedaan! 1,5 week van te voren geboekt, zijn de vluchttijden ineens veranderd. Terugweg van 23:15uur veranderd naar 07:00u sochtends. 16 uur eerder terugvliegen dus en dan wordt je rond 01:00u snachts al opgehaald van het hotel om terug naar het vliegveld te gaan. Hele dag kwijt belachelijk!! Het mag 2 weken van te voren worden veranderd staat er, maar met klantenservice wordt niks gecompenseerd. Nooit meer via corendon

1 x met Corendon gevlogen op vakantie naar Turkije
De heenvlucht was 5 uur vertraagd. Compensatie gevraagd. Wordt gewoon afgewezen terwijl dit wettelijk verplicht is. Sindsdien boek ik en mijn vrienden NOOIT meer bij Corendon.

Flew with Corendon from Glasgow to Antalya last week (04.04.22) and returned yesterday 11.04.22.

Having read the reviews on Trustpilot and other sites i was somewhat wary of using them but not having used them before I thought I would wait and see.

Our agent had some issues booking our golf clubs on but this was finally resolved after some communications back and forth and an additional cost to us. Our agent did inform Corendon at the time of the initial booking that we were taking clubs and the airline confirmed they were booked but the system wasn't set up as we booked almost as soon as the flights were released.

Our outbound flight was delayed by about 90 mins due to airspace issues, so it meant extra time at the airport bar which wasn't a bad thing for 12 guys going golfing.

Cabin service was okay but they run out of alcohol mid way through the flight !!

On checking back in for the return leg half of our group were checked in without issues then they asked myself for proof of my golf clubs being booked. Luckily i had all the paperwork confirming this. I did ask the supervisor why he hadn't requested this from the other members of our group and he mentioned something about possibly my agent hadn't confirmed or paid the airline. Thankfully I had all the paperwork and emails from the agent confirming the clubs were booked from Corendon. Not sure what their point was to be fair.

On the whole, i would use Corendon again, flight times were good and plenty of leg room etc in standard seats.

Tijdens een vlucht van bijna 4 uur, heb ik naast mensen gezeten (man en vrouw) die samen een hele gezellige vlucht hadden. De man heeft de hele vlucht met een paar blikjes bier, gezellig met de vrouw gekletst, ( en heel slim), het mondkapje de gehele vlucht niet opgedaan. De vrouw had ook het mondkapje af, omdat zij ook steeds aan het drinken was. Geen enkele cabinepersoneel, heeft er wat van gezegd. ronduit schandalig!! Natuurlijk, als ze er wat van zeggen, dan wordt er geen bier verkocht, dus geen inkomsten..... Corendon, wat is belangrijker dan de veiligheid van mensen! Je wordt er moe van dat altijd het geld zo belangrijk moet zijn! Alcohol sowieso verbieden op alle vluchten!

Wat een slecht bedrijf. Trustpilot bedoel ik. Mijn mening wordt niet weergegeven.
