One of most friendliest professional places I have ever visited. The care pre & post op was second to none. Mr Rhodes is a genius & the staff from Samuel in reception, the nurses Katie,Kim, Fliss, anaesthetic Jonnie & another male nurse I didn't catch his name. Received a followup the extra morning from Orla which was most helpful. A huge thank you to your team. Highly recommended.

Had a fantastic experience with my surgery and Mr Rhodes from start to finish. Mr Rhodes is professional, friendly and approachable and most importantly a great surgeon. I had hard lumps of filler removed from around my eyes and was very nervous regarding the procedure and the after result because of scarring but Mr Rhodes did such a good job and made such small incisions in out of the way areas that two weeks later they can hardly be seen. Extremely happy and would definitely have surgery with him again

The only city centre York clinic
I’ve been going to Jo at Coppergate Clinic for a couple of years now with some desired results. Botox is most effective on the forehead. I was given a needle scar last year and have just got a matching one on my glabella that looks like fangs (between the eyebrows), so be prepared to perhaps have to cover up any scarring with makeup. It’s a big negative of injectables on the face, especially if you were naturally blemish free.
You’re in and out in ten minutes. Charlotte is friendly on reception and it’s a very clean and well decorated clinic right in the centre of York close to the Fossgate Centre and Clifford’s Tower.

We’re truly sorry to hear of any negative side effects that you may have experienced following your treatment. As you’ve rightly noted, this is can be an extremely rare and unfortunate occurrence, and we fully understand how distressing it can be.
However, following your review appointment with Jo, and after careful assessment of your photographs by the surgical team, it was confirmed that the marks you referenced are not treatment-related scars, as your concerns have appeared in an area that was not treated. Instead, they appear to be naturally occurring skin blemishes, unrelated to the procedure, which are expected to fade over time. We would like to reassure you that the blemishes are not a reflection of Jo’s technique, which continues to be recognised by our patients for its exceptional precision and gentle approach.
Regarding the length of appointments, we’d also like to clarify that follow-up visits can often become more streamlined as Jo becomes more familiar with her patients and their needs. Despite this efficiency, the quality of care remains unchanged, Jo is known for her attentive, patient-centred approach and always takes the time to listen and tailor treatments accordingly.

Surgeon amazing, after care subpar
The clinic its self is beautiful and my surgeon was amazing and I am very pleased with my results.
The aftercare I feel was below bare minimum, I was not checked up the next day, I needed advice called and had to leave a voice mail and when I was called back a few hours later was made to feel like i should not have wasted her time as it was “not an emergency”.
I requested in person to get my stitches removed, 4 times, when I arrived they thought it was over the phone, I was placed in a make shift room, and made to feel like an inconvenience again, and was rushed in and out by the nurse
My video call 6 weeks later with surgeon was lovely, I am very happy with the results

Wonderful initial consultation
I visited for a genral consultation. I was made to feel welcome and at ease the whole time. Cannot thank the staff enough for making me at ease and talking me through everything I needed.
Clinic was also very easy to find, around 3 - 4 mins walk from Castle car park.

Breast reduction & uplift surgery
After a lot of research into different breast surgeons, I decided to book a consultation with Dr Will Holmes due to his extensive work within breast surgery. After speaking with Dr Holmes face to face, I was confident that he was the best surgeon for my breast reduction & uplift. He was very informative and reassuring throughout the whole process. Everyone at Coppergate Clinic from the receptionists to all of the healthcare staff are very welcoming, kind and helpful. The aftercare I received from the whole team at Coppergate Clinic was amazing and Dr Holmes was very quick to respond to any queries I had whilst in the healing stage. I had very high expectations for the results post op and can gladly say that he has exceeded my expectations!! I have very thin scars and I have gained a lot more confidence now that I have had this surgery. I couldn’t be more thankful and would highly recommend him and Coppergate Clinic to anyone looking at getting cosmetic surgery.

I had Botox and filler with Jo today at the clinic. I was abit unsure about filler but Jo was super knowledgeable, was totally informative and unbiased without any pushy sale techniques , that I have experienced elsewhere. I decided to go with a small filler in my lip lines and am so pleased I did! It has made a big difference ! Jo is very patient and extremely knowledgeable. I don’t think I would go anywhere else ! I travel from Liverpool to see her in York at the clinic it’s worth it !

First visit
I was made to feel welcomed as soon as I entered the clinic. Lovely atmosphere and spotless as you'd expect. This was my first meeting with Mr James Smith, he was professional and friendly. As this will be my first ever surgical treatment, he explained in detail what can be expected (even the bits that might be uncomfortable!), how the procedure willbe performed, what to expect after the procedure, any complications and any risks involved. I felt at ease and confident that my procedure will be carried out with the utmost care and consideration. My first experience is definitely 5*

Today I had my upper eye lids done which I was looking forward to. I didn’t feel worried at all. The surgeon & nurse made me feel very relaxed. They chatted to me through the whole of my procedure & I felt very at ease. I would highly recommend Coppergate clinic. Very professional & friendly.

CO2 laser and previous upper blephroplasty.…
I have had an upper bleph previously under the c/o Dr N Rhodes in 2022 and I was very pleased with the outcome.
Trusting his professional judgement, I have just had CO2 laser resurfacing for skin tightening and in hope that I might get some improvement in the appearance of small malar bags. In view of my age , it made sense to engage in full face and neck resurfacing. This treatment requires a period of time off work as induces swelling to the face . However, I am trusting the process and I feel confident that this will have a positive impact on my wellbeing .
Mr Rhodes and his team, anaesthetist, pre and post treatment nurses and staff in theatre all caring and made me feel at ease .
A positive experience so far .

From booking my consultation, everyone i have encountered at Coppergate have been the loveliest, most welcoming professionals. I have just had my surgery yesterday and I am so happy. From arriving yesterday everyone was so caring, reassuring and made the whole process so much less daunting. Ciarstan McArdle completed my surgery and I am so happy with my results and cannot wait for the next few months when everything is completely healed.
