Conservice had a 'software' glitch that…

Conservice had a 'software' glitch that led to them discontinuing our service. We haven't moved - so I called the company and they pointed the finger at our leasing company.

The company charged us a 'move-out' fee and then had the gumption to charge us a 'new client set-up' fee.

I've been trying to work the clowns there for months and only recently got half of the issue resolved.

I've started to pay particular attention to this bill; they charge about $5.00 per month per bill (I wonder how many users they have) as a service provider fee.

What a joke!

Over charges on water usage.

Conservice recently purchased our condo's water billing company. That was 4 months ago. Now, my water bill is creeping higher (usage, thus dollars) than it has been for the past year. I called them, and they said they cannot read my electronic water meter and are estimating my usage. I was directed to have it repaired/replaced. I find it very suspect because the usage was consistent for th e12 months prior to their take over. Now, since they have taken over the billing for the past 4 months, suddenly my meter is not functioning.

Also, we had Conserve for a few months over a year ago, (before our BOD changed away) and this same problem occurred with one of my neighbors.

The company is a rip off.

Shocked and amazed by the treatment we…

Shocked and amazed by the treatment we have received from conservice. They could care less that our gas was turned off by accident and now eight days later they might be able to get us squeezed in by the gas provider. When I call I get a different, poorly trained, representative that does not adequately annotate our progress, which means starting over with each new rep we talk to. Called the gas company and they say conservice just now put a request in, after four days with no gas, on a Friday after noon. This means we will not get gas until Monday, and even that is a maybe. No one at conservice seems to care with their monotone, I hate my job voice. Yes, we rent, but that doesn’t mean we should be treated like we don’t matter. Get it together people.

These guys are just the worst

These guys are just the worst. They also bill us 3 months late and they always double charge their customers. We brought it up to their attention by calling them and they even dare to argue with us when in fact when have screenshots of the double months that we were charged.

We if haven’t seen it we could have been charged $100+ more.
We tried to change our utilities provider but they say that we cannot since they are the default based on what our landlord has stated.

I need an explanation

I need an explanation - I live alone - There's no way these are my bills. I'm in California - I use my natural lighting - I'm being cheated.

I've never used my heating system - not once in two years - and I don't use this rinky dink A/C unit at all. There's no way these are my bills.

If I could give this company a minus…

If I could give this company a minus that would show how they actually operate. I live in a one bedroom apartment in Plano TX. This company keeps billing me higher water rates as the months go by whether I am travelled or no. Infact, my bills are higher when I am not in. I live alone, I do my laundry twice a week or once a month. There are time when I do no laundry at all. I am too busy to switch the water on, sit and let it run to waste! I wonder how an audit of how the billing is done will turn out!!! My sister pays lower water bills for a 4 bedroom house.

TOO MANY SERVICE FEES Service fees…

TOO MANY SERVICE FEES Service fees everywhere, and they say it is because it makes it 'easier for you to keep up with your bills' by consolidating them and making a one time payment. They are unecessary. Especially for autopay you can do with water, electricity, etc. they charge $25 set up fee, a one time $50 electricity fee, monthly $4 water service fee and then $4 utility fee.

Shadiest company ever.

Shadiest company ever.

I wasn’t paying for water for my apartment complex for 3 months, then all of a sudden this random company sent a water, trash, and sewer bill (mind you it isn’t even coming from my city) We already pay for trash in the apartment, but they tried to justify an extra trash fee on top of a base water fee on top of a processing fee on top of another processing fee just for using a card over the phone. They might as well have charged us for breathing too.

The system they use is rigged. Basically they submeter our water for the unit (measure it by exactly how much we use), except they decided it was cool to just “estimate” it. The definition of sub metering is measuring exactly how much water a unit uses, so they abused this definition and decided to do it their own way. They claimed that two people in a 1 bedroom apartment used almost 3,000 gallons of water, which is absolutely absurd. I am very conscious about how much water I use, and my friends who work for the city said there was no way we used that much.

They also claimed that they took the total usage of the complex and divided it by the number of units, which is yet another abuse of their power. You can’t say in writing that you submeter when really you just “estimate” everyone’s usage, and just divide it by the amount of units.

We got two bills this month; the second one being higher than the first, even though we already paid the first one way on time. When we called it said our balance was zero, so we better not get any sort of late fees.

Apparently they have been double charging people, so watch out. If you call them it has an automated person explaining how they accidentally double charged a bunch of people and soon they will be reimbursing those people.

What a disorganized and dysfunctional company. I haven’t yet seen a good review about this company, and if they don’t do anything to fix their slighted ways, you will never see anything good about them.
