Awful company - avoid!! Order took two and a half months to arrive, zero communication, continually phoning up to chase order and each time was told someone would email me back, which they never did. Finally got to speak to the 'director' who told me my request for a partial refund as a goodwill gesture was bribery?!

This is the second time I have ordered from Connections at Home and the service was excellent. The chair arrived in super quick time and was very well packaged. I would have no hesitation in ordering from them again and would recommend anyone to visit the website 😊

Placed an order amounting to £400 and have never received the item ! Numerous phone calls have got me nothing more than fobbed off and still no item ! I paid an extra £9.50 for 3 day delivery and placed the order in the first week of July !! Had used this company previously without any issues ! Still awaiting a call back from lunchtime yesterday where I was promised it would be in ‘10’ minutes !

Took a while for order to be processed and i had to chase it a couple of times. Emails never answered so always had to call. Then the wrong colour item was sent. However after one phone call this was resolved swiftly and i could keep the wrong coloured item aswell. So overall happy with the service and impressed how quickly the correct item was despatched.

After reading a few reviews and guessing/thinking they may have some brexit/covid supply problems I called before ordering and checked the Fatboy Hammock was in stock. Guys on the phone couldn't have been more helpful. Hammock arrived 48 hours later missing the pillow, even though it was listed on the box as 'included'. Phoned up and pillow sent out in overnight post. Great service, really pleased.

Ordered two Componibili storage units on 26th July. Received a confirmation invoice and then...nothing. Repeated phone messages and emails have made no difference. I'm not sure if this company is still trading, but will be looking to claim back from my credit card company.

The shipment was returned to you because it was missing the correct invoice and could not go through customs.

This company is a scam. I made an order in April 2020 and have had no response on the phone or to my emails about my order. The money cleared my account in April and I have never had any responses.

I ordered an alessi kettle and when I got an email from them I realised I had ordered the black one by mistake I wanted the white one so I telephoned them and they were really great and said it wasn’t a problem

I like the table but the communication about my delivery was pretty bad! I heard nothing about the delivery for over a week then called several times over the following week leaving messages and sending emails and non were answered. I then managed to get hold of someone about 3 weeks after the order and spoke to several perfectly pleasant people but still had to chase many times over a further week before I found out my delivery date.

Ordered over five weeks ago, no response from the company. I emailed, no reply, rang and finally spoke to them, very uninterested, fobbed me off with “ it will be dispatched next week” never arrived! Had to claim money back from credit card company.

I ordered a Fermob Louisianna bench on 19/May 2021 and have neither received it or had any communication from Connections at Home. I have sent emails and phoned two different numbers available but had no reply. Has this company gone out of business? Extremely poor service and I would definitely not recommend that anyone orders anything from them.

Spoke to a sales assistant before ordering to check out returns policy as this isn't very clear on line. was told if the item wasn't right I would have to pay £15.00 to send the item back and it was cheap as the owner came himself to do the pickups. As it was large item (a revolving Thomas Heatherwick Spun chair) I thought this was very reasonable and ordered the chair.
As soon as the chair arrived I realised it wasn't going to fit the space it was intended for. I emailed the company to return as I could not get a response on the phone. I tired calling at least 15 times over a week and eventually got a response saying the chair would be picked up the following weekend. No one turned up and no one emailed me to let me know what was going on. After repeated calls and emails getting nowhere I eventually got through on the phone and was told by the owner that both his vans had broken down and he would come 'sometime' over the following weekend but with no set date or time. I was told if I wanted to send it back myself at my own cost I could. I said that I would wait as the £15.00 collection charge was less than what I would have to pay to send it back via another courrier. Chased again the Friday before to find out when pick up would be so we could make weekend plans. I was told the chair would be collected at 09:00am Saturday morning. Saturday morning came - got a missed call at 08:58am presumably to tell me that the pick up was delayed but was left no message. Tried to call 10+ times following that to find out when the chair was going to be collected. Eventually got a call at 13:30 to be told the chair could be collected in half an hour....5 hours later. No communication no apology. A week later I called to find out if I had been reimbursed only to be told I would be charged £50.00 and not £15.00 for the pick up... Apparently I 'misheard'... Whatever the case, Phil who runs the company has no clue about customer service, the young chap I spoke to (his seemingly one member of staff) clearly gave me the customer the wrong information. No one answers the phone or picks up emails - I appreciate times are tough but we've all had a year and a half to oraganise our businesses so they run efficiently if you can't have more than one person in the office. Get more phone lines, if you can't get staff then notify your customers on your website that you are running with less resources and don't have an answer machine if you don't intend to get back to customers. Honestly SHOCKING service and as a vulnerable person who has spent the last year shielding and ordering everything on line - this is by far the worst service I have received yet. Stay away. OH....and still waiting for my refund almost a month after purchase.
