I recently completed the Copywriting course with the College of Media and Publishing and I couldn't be happier with the experience. The course was so well structured – each lesson was clear, engaging, and packed with genuinely useful links and real-world examples that helped bring the content to life.

A huge highlight for me was the personal feedback I received from my tutor, Julian. His insights were thoughtful, constructive, and really helped me improve and grow as a writer.

If you're thinking about taking a copywriting course, I would highly recommend this one. Not only is the content excellent, but the support and guidance throughout makes a real difference. Thank you to Julian and the team at the College of Media and Publishing!

I have recently completed the proofreading and editing course which was brilliant! Really great support from the team at CMP right from the moment I enquired about the course.
My tutor was knowledgeable and my assignments were marked quickly and thorough feedback was always given.
The course material is very accessible and is regularly updated to include things like the impact of AI on the art of proofreading.
I enjoyed the material and assignments about proofreading on paper (which were optional lessons towards the end of my course).
Having never bought a course like this before, I was a little cautious to purchase it. However, having completed it and to now be pursuing it as a career, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend CMP as your course provider.

When I signed up to study with the College of Media and Publishing, I was a little concerned it would be an automated, impersonal experience. I couldn't have been more wrong.
My tutor, Justine Holman, was outstanding. Her feedback, guidance, and encouragement were of such enormous help. We couldn't be further apart geographically, yet she made me feel as if we were sitting next to each other. She was so attentive, thorough, and charismatic in all her communications with me.
I learned a great deal from the course materials and Justine's insights. I thoroughly recommend this course to anyone interested in developing their copywriting career.

The structure of the course is really easy to follow and it gives you a good introduction to proofreading. The course material is straightforward, with practical exercises. For every exercise you get direct feedback from the tutor, which is very helpful and lets you get the most out of the course.

It was a very informative course with lots of practical tasks to help develop skills and put into practice what I learned.

It was great having access to a tutor and the units were structured well to mean I could complete them at my own pace, whether fast or slow.

Absolutely fantastic. Not only the people part of this team are extremely personable but the ambiance even online is welcoming and supportive. The amount of material at the student disposal is considerable, it is well written and informative. My journey into this industry has been and is well looked after from start to finish and beyond. You are never left on your own and guided into how to make the best of this interesting and exciting career.

I loved doing this course. The topic is fascinating and Shuna’s excellent and supportive guidance has made it a real pleasure to work through all the topics. The course content is high quality and varied and I feel it equips me well to start working as a proofreader and copy editor.

If you want to be a copywriter this is the course to do. The lessons are really informative and helpful and your tutor gives you valuable advice. Afterwards you can apply to get help getting a job. A great experience at a good price.

I enjoyed my time studying here. It was so convenient because I was able to work the projects around my own schedule, my tutors were so helpful and gave me great feedback on the assignments.

A great range of courses. The copywriting course was easy to set up and simple to navigate. The lessons were informative, engaging, and helped me grasp the intricacies of a new and challenging subject, giving me confidence to pursue further knowledge and possibly a change of career.

The Proofreading and editing course was both enjoyable and comprehensive. The modules were helpful and the assignments were challenging, and support was available if necessary.
Despite being an experienced English teacher with a degree in English Language and Literature, I still found that there was lots to learn and all of the information will be useful going forward.
My tutor was very good and marked my assignments promptly, giving useful feedback.

I completed the proofreading and copy editing course recently and would highly recommend it. The content was detailed and thorough, but easy to follow with clear examples in each unit. My tutor responded promptly to any queries and went into a lot of detail in her advice, which I found most helpful. CMP communications were excellent throughout. I feel well prepared to start taking on some clients and I know that my own writing has improved as a result.

I have really enjoyed the first course that I've done with College of Media and Publishing (Proofreading and Editing) and will likely be doing further courses with them.
The course material is well laid out and easy to understand, the staff are all very supportive and my tutor was always on hand to answer my questions.

Having dealt in 'texts' of multiple kinds over many years as a teacher, letterpress hobbyist printer and community musician, I took the plunge and put myself through the CMP Proofreading and Editing Course during the days up to Easter 2025. My tutor Julian was prompt and positive throughout, and I found the materials both refreshing (of known skills / experience), informative and stimulating ~ with a dash of welcome humour to help matters along. Now, emboldened with a modicum of pride, I can add my official qualifications alongside my experience, as I seek interesting work that can be done from home and in one's own chosen time.

I just completed the copywriting course from College of Media and Publishing, and I honestly can’t recommend it enough! The course materials are extensive, practical, and well-structured. I learnt how to improve my writing, adapt to different formats (like blogs, outdoor ads, and paper-based mailings), and even gained valuable insights into job searching and developing a career.

I thoroughly enjoyed studying webwriting with CMP. The course was well organised, the learning materials were clear and the whole experience was made easier by the online portal. The assignments provided enough challenge without being a huge burden on time and my tutor was always quick to respond with useful feedback. All in all, a very positive experience.

I found the copywriting course well-structured and informative. It helped me to hone different forms of copy on my journey into freelancing and gave good advice around various resources I was previously unaware of. Tutor feedback was always positive and constructive, with easy access through the online portal. My only gripe was that a few of the resource links in the learning material were obsolete and in need of refreshing, but overall excellent value for money and would thoroughly recommend.
