Taking the CMP proofreading and editing course has exposed me to a lot of things I didn't know about proofreading and editing. The practical assignments, with relevant feedback, were very helpful. My instructor's prompt response to questions also made learning easier. I would recommend this course to others.

CMP is an excellent online learning tool. The support from staff and the wider team, including the MD, goes above and beyond. The qualification I earned was worth the price; I have lifelong access to great resources and a QLS-approved certification.

I found the lessons and tasks to be engaging and enjoyable. The College brings to life what can be a fairly dry subject matter, through interactive activities and real-life examples. The optional module on editing works of fiction was particularly detailed and useful.

My tutor Shuna was extremely responsive and went the extra mile in answering queries and explaining things further. She marked my assignments rigorously, giving clear rationale for her assessment. I really felt that the marked and self-assessed assignments helped consolidate and build my learning.

I also appreciated the completely flexible nature of the course. It didn’t matter that I needed a few months’ break due to other commitments, and was able to log back in and pick up where I left off.

I enjoyed it so much I’ve also registered for the College’s copywriting course.

Great tutors who provided clear and insightful guidance and notes, very clearly explained lessons and a wide range of materials provided to help learn the skill of copywriting. Perhaps too much of the course material relied on external links, but other than that great course, easy to complete if you're working and highly recommend!

Trust the content of this Copywriting course. The tools and resources alone are worth the fee. The insight from tutor feedback seems based on very professional insight. I was a little hesitant to do a self-learning series of modules which aren't tutor led. They feel tutor led because of a) the valuable feedback, b) you have to reach an industry standard in one assignment before opening the next and c) I had a safe and supportive space to create and sometimes learnt more from mistakes constructively addressed in marking, than my successes. The endorsement badges you will receive to place across your online platform will be easily recognised in the industry too. I have met people trying to fudge such knowledge by downloading and printing reams of instruction form disparate sources of less provenance and it doesn't serve them. This was a great course and it was so wide ranging, equipping me to provide content for everything from social media, to press releases and print promotions. It really, really made me think. Highly recommend.

I have just finished one course and doing another 2 courses with the College of Media and Publishing. The courses are really well structured, relevant and interesting. The written assignments are graded and I got excellent, constructive feedback on how to improve. I feel well supported and learn a lot.

I thoroughly enjoyed this proofreading and editing level 4 diploma course and can confidently say it far exceeded my expectations. The content was exceptionally in-depth, engaging, and thoughtfully structured, covering everything you could possibly need for proofreading and copyediting — and more. I learned an enormous amount and was consistently challenged in a very positive way.
The learning portal was intuitive and easy to navigate, with well-designed materials and clear, concise summary videos that reinforced the learning effectively. The additional resources provided were extensive and incredibly valuable; they will be resources I continue to refer to regularly and are clearly suitable for students from a wide range of disciplines.

The copywriting course has been such a positive experience for me. Following a head injury several years ago I lost confidence in my abilities, so I began with some trepidation. But the course is designed to be flexible, so I could do as much work as I felt able to each day and I could work at my own pace. Elena has been a fantastic and supportive tutor.
