I went to the Wimpole Street clinic based on my friend’s recommendation. It was easy to find as its minutes away from Bond Street tube station.
I had been experiencing deafness every day for about three months. It would clear late morning.
I must admit that I was terrified! I had Christine who calmed me down as the machine was noisy (no pain or discomfort).
Now that it’s done it feels as if someone has turned up the volume; the escalators were loud, people were loud, the announcements on the Elizabeth line on my way home made me jump!
It’s wonderful to be able to hear again. Thank you Christine.
The clinic at Wimpole Street was one of the first to offer a wax removal service. I was recommended by my GP and have been a regular customer ever since. Other clinics have opened since. While they compete on price, none match the quality and completeness of service provided at Clearear clinic.

I have attended this ear micro-suction service with my family for years and they have always been excellent. However, I am adding this review to say a special thanks for the incredible care they took with my 80 yo godmother who had 3 years of impacted wax in one ear causing deafness which was significantly reversed!!
Special thanks to Christine for her patient and caring persistence til all was clear - as they promise ‘on the tin’. Melvin at reception is a gem, as is Mary, the lead nurse specialist. All the staff are lovely and have a ‘can-do’ approach, making it easy to book, friendly & professional. Could not recommend more highly.
