I’ve been working with Cleardesk for over six months and have had a very positive experience. Glai is such an integral part of our team. She has seamlessly been able to understand our unique geography, which is amazing—you would never know she hadn't spent years in Houston. Quo is our phone system and she learned it, created phone trees, set up the call flow and so much more. I know I can give her just about anything and she will make it better. And then there is the recruiting. The quality of the candidates and hires are better, with more qualifications and just a different caliber. She recruits for our caregiver positions which turn over quite a bit, and the candidates that she has brought into the organization are more qualified and have a longer tenure. She is such a great addition to our team and I could not do this without her!

I'd like to share my excitement for ClearDesk, my Customer Success Manager Lauren Hertz, and my VA Anna D...

I've been a top performing(aka busy) solo agent in Hawaii for 22 years, and a big control freak when it comes to client care and communication. My life is a big tangled yarnball as a result, because I've had a difficult time delegating out. When I was introduced to ClearDesk by another Compass broker, I felt that I wouldn't be able to utilize the program much because I "had it under control." But knowing how to do everything is different from having things under control, I finally came to admit to myself, and I was impressed with ClearDesk's initial consultation, which kept drawing me closer and closer.

ClearDesk is US based, therefore addressing one of my biggest hesitations which was not wanting to work with off-shore companies in large part of fear of different practices and regulations. I also learned that ClearDesk covers many industries, and that gave me confidence in how broad their skillset was. I took the time to listen to the solutions they could provide me, and honestly more than 50% of the solutions are ones that I did not realize I needed. This realization is actually on-going when I think about it (I'm in month 3 and wished I started 10 years ago).

Lauren Hertz, my Customer Success Manager, is extremely patient with me, and breaks things down into bite sized pieces. I don't have a lot of time for random meetings, because I want to be efficient with each second of my day. I'm sure I gave her that impression in the beginning, and she worked with me to not only maximize my time with her, but also in being really patient with any general frustrations I deflected toward her. Today, we just do brief check ins but I find myself wanting to hear more from her on how I can be utilizing my VA better, because she's got the experience with all of her other clients and I only know what I know...which in this world of delegation is very limited. Lauren is bright, very intelligent, and I feel she genuinely cares about making my experience with my VA very positive.

My VA Anna is amazing as well. She is another very intelligent individual, based in Manila, with higher education and well-spoken. Though Hawaii has a mixing pot of cultures and therefore different ethnic accents, I was personally very worried about getting a very qualified VA that still had an ESL(English as a second language) accent because I work a lot with mainland US clients who may not be able to decipher ESL accents well. Anna has perfect English :) Anna actually has been teaching me a lot about the Compass platform because she had experience with another team prior to joining me, and I rely a lot on her knowledge in all things new trends and tech, AI, etc....I'm an "old dog" now at 45 and stuck in my ways having been selling since 23. Communication is very easy and efficient, she works on my time zone, and she's so professional and so courteous 100% of the time. I've found that Anna can do ANY task I come up with, and there is really no box she sits in. I've had my team members engage with her as well, and she treats them all the same, and they love the amount of help they get from her. My goal now is to scale my team, and you cannot do so without systems and organization...and Anna is an integral part of this.

If you're thinking about a VA, just know that you probably only understand 5-10% of what solutions they can bring to you. If you're looking for organization, more time(to build your business, or to spend on leisure or with family), you need to think about delegating tasks...not just tools, you need personnel to work on those tools for you. Just do it :)

Our account rep, Lauren Hertz, is fantastic. Don’t know if it’s nature or nurture but she has an instinct to support and a talent for finding solutions. She strikes a balance of knowing when to push and when to allow for organic results. She is very effective.

We hired our virtual assistance to assist a little over a year ago. I wasn’t sure it was going to work well for us. She has been amazing with recruiting, communicating with the caregivers and applicants. There is not a task that she has been given that she has not completed. She is wonderful. She always as if there is anything she can help with, she is fast and I never have to question as to what she is doing, it clearly shows in her work. ClearDesk is very easy to work with.
