SCAM site. They charge you a small fortune £83 to gain a DBS then the website doesn't allow you to get any further, you then are directed to another site to get verified £15 that again doesn't allow you to complete the form. Their phone number looks like the one for the GOV.COM but is a bot
STAY AWAY!

Just like everyone else, I have lost £83 and now £8.00, aparently a monthly fee. They are faceless, around and around in circles trying to contact them. Bloody discusting.

How is this company allowed to exist! The are scammers and robbers! Took £83 from me I asked for refund and was sent £25! Then the continue to take payments from me every month! Disgusting! I’ve tried contacting them for refund. Contacted my bank. Hope I get my money back!

Scam … they still money from your bank account when they have your details. Should not be allowed to be on the market and scam people

I wouldn’t even give one star to them. They are scammers, I should have read reviews first. It’s says 15 pounds for dbs and charges 98 pounds without even showing what they charging how government allows such scammers using our sensitive information and bank cards to use on their website. I just don’t understand how they still operating even after every single person has a problem. They are scammers. They come first on google search so people can just click on this page without thinking they will scam your money and your personal database.who can we report to. They are scammers stay away!!!!!!sending me link to use my card again for verification and paying more money. Scammers in bright day light.

It took them more than 30 days to complete my application.I was never contacted with request to submit additional evidence however the application was delayed because of missing evidence.
They have included somehow in a very sneaky way premium Cloud recurring service ,which I was unaware of .This costs £8.00 per month ,taken automatically and I was surprised to find that I was charged for service that I have never ordered.I have contacted the company with request to cancel this service and I am not sure what will happen next.I have paid more than £80.00 for service that can qualify for the slowest in the business.It is a borderline scam. Absolutely awful.Avoid,avoid,avoid

I was not aware until I saw my bank statement that Clearcheck had charged me £83 for a service I could have got for less than £38 direct from DBS.

This company is a total scam. They try to charge a minimum of £83 but can go way north of over £120 with all the completely non necessary add ons they try to make you take. Right up to the point of payment the full price isn't revealed. Then as you proceed to payment, the total flashes up for about 1/10th of a second.
Honestly if you blink you'll miss it. This is how they get through the legal loophole. They've shown the price but in the blink of an eye. Thankfully my bank blocked the payment and flagged them as a dodgy company. Also can't believe how daft i was. The gov.uk site charge £18 for dbs.

On the 26th July, I noticed that Clear Check Ltd had taken £98.00 from my bank account following a link from a DBS check to be verified for £15.00.
I tried calling them and was told it's DBS's accounts problem & to contact them.
I responded that their company name was on my bank statement and it's their problem to refund me the fraudulent transaction. Only to be told that I was actually calling a company called Chiefs supplies Ltd, and hung up.

Contacted my bank to report the scam and they saw that they were also under a company name to do with Inflatable kids party rentals Ltd. The bank blocked them from taking any further monies from my account and wait to see if I got my verification documents through?
Today I tried to call Clear Check Ltd again but could not get through. So I with continue with the bank regarding this fraudulent transaction.
Seriously,,,, looking at these other reviews, these people need to be arrested and locked up !!!

Do NOT use this company ever! They deliberately make everything difficult for you. They do not give good customer service. They do not care. They will never give a full refund no matter how honest you have been. They only want your money. I made a mistake which is what they want us to do by being on Google. I managed to get half of my £83 refunded and my bank is now dealing with them. They are known for being difficult in more ways than one. DO NOT USE Clearcheck!

They are the worse company I ever they scam me over £150 for a basic DBS check which I still haven’t received in months when I asked for a refund I was told the money was used for a service I didn’t receive please people be careful they are scammers don’t use them go on the government website

This company called clearcheck is not a legitimate company. It is scam. They show me a price of £15.00 for dbs check. But they took £98.00 from my account. You can not contact them on the phone. So today I am been scammed. I have also contacted a fraud team. I want every body to know that millions of scammers such as clearcheck sleeping under the shadow of Google. Take care of yourself and Be careful.

Got the DBS but they have been taking from my bank account £8 for a subscription I never asked for.

It’s a scam. The website is designed to trick you into buying their basic DBS rather than an enhanced. I’ve recently checked to find they have also been taking £8 a month out of my account to renew the DBS i never wanted. STAY AWAY!

AVOID THIS COMPANY - ABSOLUTE SCAMMERS

Dreadful company. They look legit but they take your money and you basically can’t contact them and speak to anybody. They said I hadn’t been verified when a certificate had actually come through. Then they said I needed to send my marriage certificate. Enough was enough so I’ve cancelled. Avoid this scamming company.

They lure you to apply first to verify your photo and address and before you know it you are lured into opening an account and take £ 83 from your account. I dont remember agreeing to paying £83. I had only paid £15 thinking that the price for basic verification . When asked they send a list with their prices and say that I ticked their terms and conditions . You dont need this agency at all for a basic check .I was fooled . You be careful . This site comes up and it looks like as thoughthe govt has approved this site . Definitely not

I wanted a copy of my DBS I was asked to pay £15 I paid.
After payment they asked me to login with different accounts. I didn't do it. They kept sending emails then I got irritated and used contact us
I contacted them - still they asked me to create a password to verify myself. I couldn't because each time i created a password they didn't accept it andI found that weired.

Finally I searched for their name then got the real DBS they promised to reply within six days. On the sixth day I got a reply advising me to get in touch with them as they are not the same. The following day I checked on my account and I was horrified to note that they had taken £98 that is including the £15. I called bank and explained I was cheated whilst applying for a dbs. Bank confirmed that it wasn't the real DBS and I was given their number and was advised
to call them and talk to them. I called the number and its an automated phone. I'm really furious
