I visited the Hereford store with my 2 year old grandson.
I was served by Jocelyn who was very patient, happy and helpful. She advised on the most suitable shoes and he tried on several pairs to ensure the fit was correct.
Very satisfied with the service and a happy 2 year old too !

Dee at Hereford Clarks was extremely helpful and so good with my toddler. Could not recommend any more highly! In this day and age customer service seems like a lost art but not in this case :)

Dee at your Hereford branch was friendly, helpful and efficient in sorting our 14 month grandson with his first pair of proper shoes.

We were met with a very friendly and knowledgeable shop assistant called Flic. She listened to our concerns and took them on board (our son is not good with new things so picking shoes can be quite challenging).
Her knowledge regarding the fitting was great and she was able to advise us on what was suitable and what wasn’t. She remained patient despite having to go back and forth bringing different sizes/styles.
We are very grateful for you going above and beyond with your customer service and making our experience a positive one!

I took my grandson to be fitted for his new school shoes. He was measured but was told there was no stock of what we were looking for in his size so to order online which I did. They were ordered to store so when I collected them a member of staff could check they fitted correctly. She said they were fine and he had plenty of growing room. When we took them home to show his mum she wasn’t happy with the fit and took him back in to the branch where a 3rd member of staff told her that he had been measured wrong but they had the correct size in store. This took 3 trips to store 3 lots of parking charges. He has only ever worn Clarke’s shoes because of the fitting and the brand but do worry that people are taken on in busy seasons without the correct training.

We have now received an apology from Clarke’s with a promise of retraining.

Getting my son's shoes fitted is an increasingly stressful experience. Due to sensory issues. Cher help today to get Louis Shoes fitted and was supported by Dee the manager, both were patient and listened to our son's needs. I felt supported by both and they had all the time in the world. Which is what is needed. We left with a pair of shoes that my son happily wanted to wear, and I felt fitted. Which felt unachievable. It took 45 minutes, I wasn't rushed and it was extremely busy. Service like that just makes mine and my son's life a little easier and less stressful. Massively appreciated.
For Cher and Dee. You will pleased to know he got home and put his new school shoes straight on.

Jess C was fantastic!! Just back from school shoe fitting for my two boys, went in and the shop was extremely busy, didn’t have an appointment but was greeted fairly quickly and was given a ticket, we were called up very quickly and Jess C was brilliant, friendly, patient, and engaging with the boys. They didn’t have all the styles available in one of my boys size that he liked on the shelf but that didn’t stop Jess, she found the perfect pair for my little one and he’s over the moon with his new shoes! As was my older one. From start to finish I couldn’t fault the service.

Today with my mother and my son, we came in for the dreaded first school shoe fitting.

Jocelyn helped us, she was very patient and playful with my son - who has a global development delay. She really helped him feel safe, which helped relieve mine and mother’s stress levels, also.

We were a bit apprehensive going in for my son's school shoes as it was busy and he is autistic and doesn't do well with busy and loud places but, Sadie completely put us at ease. She was calm, welcoming and did everything she could, nothing was too much trouble. My son handled it well with Sadie being so good with him and we left with 2 pairs of shoes in the end! Thank you so much.

I came in today to get my 4 year old some new shoes for starting school, we got such good service from Jess she was friendly and patient and took the time to ensure we had shoes that fitted properly.

We had a great experience today in Clark’s Hereford. There was a really wide selection of school shoes and also adult comfortable walking shoe/ trainers which was a good start . The service was excellent, both professional and friendly, by Anna who could not have been more helpful. I am really pleased that we left with everything we needed and also in good spirits. The blue light discount was also a bonus

Flic was very patient with my 5 year old grandson. She brought 3 different styles of shoe for him to try on and showed him the dinosaur on the bottom of one pair. He chose these which also had the best fit. We also bought some school trainers with £10 discount that she told me about. The shop was quite busy with children buying school shoes but Flic was very efficient and told me about discounts and if his feet grew within 3 months to come back and exchange them. I do hope that Flic becomes a permanent member of staff.

Dee in Hereford was so helpful today. My son has huge feet and she was brilliant at finding a pair to fit him.

Staff warm and welcoming and the sales assistant, Jocelyn was wonderful. She exactly how to treat a 4 year old getting her first pair of school shoes and offered a choice of styles. It made the whole experience really good for my grand daughter. Thank you.

Very agreeable experience. Helped by a lady named Steph, who was approachable and helpful, and went out of her way to look for a similar pair when they didn’t have the exact one I’d asked for. Good selection too, very happy with my purchases.
