Gabi, the lawyer that created my family trust, was knowledgeable and efficient. She patiently explained the legalities involved in setting up a trust. I was a little apprehensive before starting the process. But Gabi made it a pleasant experience.

The lawyer assigned to us, Gabrielle (Gabi) Aboujaonde, was most professional, compassionate and understood what we wanted and completed out Will and Trust in the time frame. She was genuinely kind. She answered all of our questions. When it came time, Megan was professional with the signing of the documents.

Attorney Hannah David made the onerous task of preparing our family Trust much easier than I imagined it would be. She was very knowledgeable and professional explaining the many elements of a family Trust document. And, she communicated clearly and often to complete this work in a timely manner. We very much appreciate her efforts to help us.

Honesty, took time to explain

Very thorough. Answered all our questions. I like the on-going availability and the follow up email. I would highly recommend Jennifer.

I worked with one of the attorneys in Clark Allison office (Gabi) on estate planning. I have legal insurance through work so I was told I would only have to pay pass through fees (the cost of the notary and the cost of the deed), she said it would be $495. I agreed to the terms and after doing so I realized they probably inflated the fees to take advantage of me. I asked for the breakdown of the $495 and they said $300 for deed filing fees and $195 for notary. However, the deed filing fee in San Diego county is $23 and the notary is $150. I asked for the breakdown of $300 and $195 and I was never provided with it.

Other than the overcharging problem, the work was okay with the exception that responses to emails were delayed and that the documents were not prepared in the time they were supposed to be (I asked Gabi for the timeline and she said I would have them but the weekend, but she sent them one week late). I was going on a overseas trip so I told her that I would need to push back the appointment with the attorney since I would not have time to read them and she tried to push me to keep my appointment, which I refused. Finally, the partner emailed me to complain I had not paid the bill when they had not sent me the invoice. So I imagine they have some mismanagement issues going on.

Overall, I would avoid if possible as I believe they are disguising their fees as pass through fees (otherwise I do not understand why they will not provide the breakdown)

Efficient and pleasant service.

Overall, we had a great experience at Clark Allison LLP. Our attorney was knowledgeable and made the creation of our Family Trust, Wills and Health Directives a quick and painless process. She made herself available to us as needed with answers and suggestions for our questions and concerns. We highly recommend Clark Allison LLP!
