Hats off to their customer service. I had bought 3 discount codes and purchased 3 tickets. Then my sister unexpectedly had to go to A&E. They were very understanding and still refunded me the cost.

Voucher Code Not Working
Purchased two tickets for later in the day on your website. The voucher codes arrived fine but the voucher code is not working on the cinema website. I know that this is a participating cinema and the tickets I am trying to purchase are "standard adult" tickets but neither voucher code is working. "Promotional Code is not Valid for this screening". Have checked your Terms and Conditions. This is not a live screening of any sort or, as far as I am aware, a 3D screening. This is a bog-standard film. Have sent a message online but it says 1-working day for a response. No good to me!! While I realise the voucher codes are valid until next year in the short term, I'll have paid twice for my tickets for today's screening. Really disappointing. Don't think I'll be using your services again.

It gives me a nice saving when I take my Mum to see a film. I book with The Light cinema, which is a bit pricier than some, but because it's local to us, it's just perfect.

No tickets available for cinemas in the Republic of Ireland
I'm in County Westmeath in the republic of Ireland and I live beside both an IMC and an Omniplex and there are never any tickets available for either. Each time I try I am told my nearest participating cinema is in northern Ireland. Pointless including the republic if you are not going to make any tickets available.

Thank you for taking time to leave a review, however this doesn’t sound right to us. If you are in the Republic of Ireland, you should be able to see a full list of cinemas for all counties.
We would suggest checking that the flag in the top right-hand corner of the site is set to ROI, if you click on the flag you will get a drop-down of all the countries we operate in. Once you are in the ROI site, it should also say Republic of Ireland underneath the Cinema Society logo. You should then be able to see all cinemas participating, including both IMC and Omniplex in Co. Westmeath.

It's £14.99 for a standard adult ticket at my local Cineworld.
I can get it for £6.99, Monday - Thursday, or £11.75 Friday - Sunday with Cinema Society.
It's easy to use and tickets are emailed to you within about 15 minutes.
There are packaged deals available to make savings on food as well (although, I've never used those).
A no-brainer really!

Not cost saving
We have just booked to watch a movie at the cinema today. I thought I would use The Cinema Society Club for the first time, and get tickets cheaper using this service. So, I paid for two people £21.98 to use the "perk" - but no I was hit with and additional £11.90 at Showcase to pay for the movie
£21.98 + £11.90 = £33.80 (/2 = £16.90 each)
I also have Meerkat Membership 241 (Two-For-One) which would have been £17.99 that's for two tickets!
I rushed in to buy "The Cinema Society Club", "ticket" which I thought it'd be the actual tickets for the movie - but it is not - it's a discount coupon (e-voucher), on top of that they have no-cancellation policy.
- so won't be using "The Cinema Society Club" as it's more expensive.

Not good savings if you're seniors! Our cinema tickets would be £7.99, we get them from Cinema Society for £6.35, which, at first, looks good, until you add on the £1 booking fee (per ticket!!) So £7.35, instead of £7.99, is very minimal

Unfortunately the booking fee is what the cinema itself charges for booking online (and is out of our control unfortunately), it can be avoided if you book in person at the cinema itself however.
