We had a new boiler installed by Chelmsford Plumbing and Heating in May and were really impressed from start to finish. They were very professional, knowledgeable, friendly and always turned up on time. We have also used them for electrical work, for new lights, extra plug sockets and for a fault with lights in two rooms and again they were excellent. A highly recommended trustworthy local company.

Excellent service all round from start to finish. Clear and concise quotation. The works completed were of the very highest quality, and tidiness i've never seen before from tradesmen. This was a big boiler replacement job, with pipework move and boiler into the loft with all old tanks removed. The works were completed well within time and of excellent standard of work throughout. The tradesmen were all polite and helpful. Really can't fault Chelmsford Plumbing. Thanks.

We needed to renew our existing gas boiler and was recommended to CP&H. We had a prompt visit from Martyn who provided us with a detailed quote. Having accepted the quote we were able to arrange an installation within 10 days and taking 2 days to complete. The installation team led by Ryhs arrived first thing on day one, were friendly and polite and completed the work in a very efficient manner. We were very happy with the whole installation completed in a professional manner and would not hesitate to use them in the future,

CPH fitted an induction hob in my kitchen, to replace a gas hob that needed replacing due to a suspected leak in the gas pipe work (hidden under floors / behind cabinets). This is a small job and it was difficult to find a contractor to show any interest in it, until I tried CPH. They showed interest, were responsive and the job itself was executed well.

We have used CP&H for many years and always had reliable, friendly and professional service. Our 08.00 boiler service appointment was on time and completed in a professional and efficient manner. Great service, nice people and good value. We use no one else.

A friendly and efficient service from beginning to end by Chelmsford Plumbing and Heating Ltd. The initial phone call in the morning to enquire and explain the issue with our combo boiler was good as they detailed what the problem could be and explained the standard rates which was very helpful. They were able to visit the same day too. The engineer was professional, efficient and friendly. The area he worked was left clean. I would definitely recommend this company and won't hesitate to use again for any other plumbing or heating related work.

We had a new boiler fitted and all radiators flushed. The job ran smoothly and the young gas engineer was very polite and kept us informed as he was going along. Very professional and very happy with the completed works and left the area clean and tidy.

CPH replaced my boiler and heating system 9 years ago and have serviced it every year since they have always been helpful and friendly and have always respected my property and left it clean and tidy. I would recommend them.

I was telephoned the day before my appointment and agreed for the engineer to bring appointment forward to that afternoon. He arrived a short while later and was, as usual for CPH workers, friendly, polite and efficient. He explained about the condition and age of my boiler - it is very old! - without using scare tactics.
After the service, everything was left clean and tidy and ready to,hopefully, face another year.
I will be returning to CPH for next year's service.

I have been a long standing customer and some three weeks ago I arranged for an engineer to service my warm air boiler, I explained that I had moved to Gloucestershire but still owned a property in Chelmsford and it would take me a three hour drive to get there, I was told on the day of booking the appointment my engineer would be there by 9.00 to 9.30 because of my journey.
On the day I arrived before 8am at 9.20 I was told that the engineer had finished his first job and was on his way to me, some 45 minutes later I phoned them to say the engineer had not turned up and was informed that I was his second job of the morning, the young lady I rang told me she would ring back once she had spoken to the engineer, 20 minutes later I rang again to be told that the engineer would not be there until 12 and 1pm.
I explained I had a three hour journey which she already knew and was discourteous telling me I would have to wait even though I had arranged this.
I told her I was not happy and going to put this on Trustpilot I cancelled the appointment, couple of minutes later I had the office manager on the phone to me stating that the appointment was between 9 and 12.
When I informed him that his member of staff had confirmed that he was on his way to me at 9.20 he said he was not aware of this fortunately I had this recorded the whole sorry episode, I wished I had never trusted this firm as they lied and tried to threaten me.
There is no such thing as loyalty with CHP.
It was a wasted and expensive journey avoid at all costs with this company

Very courteous friendly efficient staff, both the engineers who attended and in the office. Took the time to explain everything and answer questions. Worked tidily and checked thoroughly before leaving. Would highly recommend for both boiler servicing and teplacement,

GREAT SERVICE! Also checked our water tank for free and gave advice on a future timescale for replacement of our existing boiler.

We had to have a new oil fired CH boiler installed to replace one that was beyond repair.
Over the three days the engineers were on site they always arrived on time, were extremely polite and conscientious. Before they departed each day they left the place spotless.
Due to the age of the former system several remedial actions were requires to meet current requirements and this did not increase the original estimate which was competitive with another firm we contacted.

Provided with all information and I was able to ask questions. Workers were well organised and turned up punctually every day and worked quietly.
After the work was completed, this was tested with me present and formally commissioned as ready and safe to use.
Cleaned after working and left the premises clean and tidy
