SCAM. RECIEVED LETTER SAYING I WAS OWED MONEY FOR CAR. IV NEVER HAD A CAR SO A LOAD OF NONSENSE. HOW ARE THEY EVEN ALLOWED TO POST LETTERS TO PEOPLES ADDRESSES AND NAMED. SCAM DEFO

I have never had car finance

Is this check finance a scam just when it asked for id I thought hold on let me just check around just got a gut feeling it's a scam

Received a letter in the posted, as usual thought let me check out the company first as I’ve never heard of them and no surprise they’re showing as scammers. So beware before using as I’m definitely not entering them

Scam! Received two identical letters in the same envelope yesterday (I'm assuming just an accidental duplicate or something) stating their records show that I may be owed compensation for my car insurance. I double checked they had used my name and address so I didn't give them new information and emailed them telling them to stop sending me letters as (paraphrasing) it's impossible that I have car insurance as I haven't been allowed to drive for 23 years since I was a child due to a permanent health condition so stop sending letters and wasting paper and send to someone else. Their response: To be clear, you have received 1 single letter – not ‘letters’, as you claim. There is no need to exaggerate the point, we will happily remove you from our system – which has now been done.

They admit that they just randomly have names on a system, not actual genuine people who have been misold insurance. I'm grateful I'm now removed but I strongly suggest you avoid this "company".

Scam. Bin the letters and save yourself hassle.

Received a letter today stating I'm due compensation however I don't drive. Complete scam. Letter looks legit but upon goggling it's nothing but A SCAM. Not sure how they got my address tho

Just recieved letter as i may be due compensation.....I don't drive and there fore don't have a car defo a scam.

I have also received a letter from Check Finance . Companies house have pages of dissolved companies at this address . Definitely a scam.

Scam letter received. They somehow got my full name and address. Regarding a car finance scheme that I have never had. Avoid , write a review and bin these scammers!

Didn't want to give one star as total scam.... don't do anything but destroy your letter

Had a letter telling me I may be due compensation for a car finance.. I have never had a car, and couldn't afford to have one on finance of I ever did.. I do not drive.. SCAM.

Total SCAM!! I have never had car finance so knew it was not legitimate. Some people may be duped into it, as the letter I received looks realistic!!
My advice: ignore any correspondence from these criminals!!

Scamming company, looks very professional, with a case Reference, QR Code etc, The RoyalMail address says its come from Birmingham, which is suspect in itself considering the dump that city has become. Throw in bin and do not scan they're QR Codes

Just received a letter from them. I don't have any car finance, seen all the reviews on here. Binning this. Thank you to all that have written about this scam

As everyone else has said, I also got a letter and was thinking of doing this. However, a BIG THANK YOU to everyone as this has now gone in the bin.

Today I received a Scam letter from this so called company. Check Finance.

Do not let me have to use bad language on how you have my details.

I have never driven in my life, so do not get it twisted.

Just had a letter looked very professional could have fell for it easily so glad I checked on here before doing anything.
