I have been very happy withy Checkers Sixty60 for years. Its quick the app works well almost all my ordered items are delivered. Until they added hyper. Its so difficult all you items from 1 store with one delivery. Hyper has more items but not the basic groceries. There is provision for returns of a defective product. A very courteous young man called me and areanged for collection then didnt hear anything then Sisanda asks me to return yhe products to the store. Two conflicting opinions on a standard procedures. You are expected to go to the store they won't pick up the defective product.I am very dissapointed as you have 2 days to return an item else its your problem. Don't buy anything from Hyper they dont give the support that Takealot does.
Poor quality of products
Poor quality of products. Used sixty60 in Melkbosstrand Western Cape. Bread and beef packed in one bag.. Blood dripped out of beef packed sideways onto my bread and other stuff. Laid a complaint. 2 days later ordered again. Lettuce soggy and black. Disgusted with this pathetic service. Never to be used again. Not recommended. You rather take an Uber n go get ur own stuff. Or rather use another store.
Great Location, Poor Service
I used to be a regular at Checkers in Somerset West, Cape Town, but I’ve sadly stopped shopping there due to the poor customer service. You literally never get staff members to assist you — when they do finally help, it feels like they’re doing you a favour, often just pointing instead of properly guiding or offering support.
Good customer service equals profits, it’s that simple. A friendly and helpful team can make all the difference in bringing customers back. Unfortunately, this store is falling short, and it’s affecting the overall shopping experience. Hopefully, management takes note and makes some much-needed improvements.

I was pretty underwhelmed when I went to shop here. They do have competitive pricing on groceries, which is a plus, but that’s where the good stuff ends. The online shopping experience needs a lot of work. I often found that when items were out of stock, the substitutions they offered weren’t really suitable for what I needed. Extremely poor service
I'm flabbergasted to see the lack of customer attention or care at Checkers Centurion Lifestyle. I've been trying to weigh in my produce but not all products are available on the scale to choose from. So trying to find anybody to assist you is virtually impossible. No staff, no security, I've could have walked out of the store without paying for any vegetables and nobody would have noticed. If you look in the far distance everybody is hurdled at the cash registers chatting, socialising and doing what cheap labourers do ... nothing. I eventually went into an office to find two more just talking and doing nothing. Even explaining I require assistance, you still get the squint eye stare clearly showing they have no idea what you are asking or what they need to do. 1. This is what happens if you hire cheap labour. They are very uneducated, can't read, write, spell, use grammar or count so save their lives but they have to be hired. They are just there to get a salary but not work. 2. I also blame the lack of management. There are NO manager on the floor or office or even in the store. This is the kind of crap that happens if you have no managers on the floor. You can't entrust the floor to people who lack responsibility.

Always on time and my orders are perfect. I think it's a fantastic service especially as I'm unable to move from home. Well done to the drivers. They're doing a great job too. And a big thanks you to Checkers.
Checkers Monument Krugersdorp …
Glad I can find anything I'm looking for in the store ,the customer service is horrible though....Checkers Monument krugersdorp has the worst service ,I joined the express line and only one till was working ....there were 6 tillers there talking and not helping customers, one till had no tiller cos they were all busy chatting ,we stood in the line for 15 minutes . This is not the first time such has happened before.

We went to your outdoor shop in Zeerust on The 5 October 2024 , a friend told us that they have a special on Kettle braai .
We came all the way from Botswana .
On arrival we looked at the Kettle braai on special for R2599.95
The lady showed us what is included . My husband told her that they must get it ready we just want to eat something at Spur .
After a while we went back , we took 25kg charcoal that was on special the Kettle braai and a few other things.
She put everything thru and the kettle braai was more than on the advert . She said they put the price on the wrong item .
Acording to me if thats the case then the store must give it to you at that price.!
She called the Manager , he was very Arogant with my Husband . He just said can't give him the Kettle braai at that price !
When we left the shop my husband phone your customer service spoke to several people , still no answer they only gave us a reference number!
A week later we had to go to Zeerust again . Phone client Service again and they said they still investigate ..
So we spoke to a Lawyer friend and he said we have a good case , you have to give it to us at the price it was advertise in the shop
