Dear Checkers Customer Care Team,
I am writing to lodge an urgent complaint regarding a cake purchased today from your store for R129.99.
I reported the issue to the store on the same day and was informed that I would be refunded. However, despite this assurance, no refund has been processed.
I would like to clearly state that I am requesting a full refund of R129.99. I do not mind if Checkers wishes to collect the cake, as my main concern is receiving my money back as promised.
I am disappointed by how this matter has been handled and request that it be resolved as a matter of urgency. Please advise when the refund will be processed.
I am available to provide proof of purchase, store details, or to arrange collection of the product if required.

Always go to Checkers for groceries. The quality is always good but lately I've been getting some seriously bad eggs in those trays. At first I thought it was a bad batch but I've come to learn that they are all like that. I buy 4 trays a month so you can imagine the disappointment. Unfortunately I will no longer buy eggs from them.

I encountered this driver today, ( LX1 7JZ GP) driving very recklessly. Overtaking on the right side at the Robot. Not stopping at Stop signs or 4 way stops and cutting cars.

New customer staff are incompetent, rude and with an indifferent attitude, Recruit people that are willing and care for your organization.

It seems cherckers60 is running as a scam. They will, at their leasure, cancel your order, and you only get the refund in 3 to 5 days.

I just want to thank Carmen of Checkers 60 at the Whalecoast Mall in Sandbaai Hermanus who sorted out a delivery problem today..She handled the problem very professionally and efficiently and were very grateful for her kind assistance ..Thank you so much Checkers 60...Mrs Van Den Berg a customer of Checkers.

My Steri Stumpie was sour I am very disappointed in Checkers and will think twice before shopping there again

I bought 2 boxes of Forage and Feast glasses to give as gifts from Checkers Sixty60. Both boxes had been opened and damaged and would never had been purchased by anyone in store. Now they tell me they can’t give me a credit and the items have to be returned instore. So much for their fantastic delivery service. This is really embarrassing and was just a way to dump an unsellable product.

Checkers Clara anna fontein - I had the worst experience today from the store manager. She was unfriendly, unwilling to even try and assist. I needed help with an online price and she pulled her shoulders up and said she cant help me. This type op personality should not be placed in a managerial position. Terribly unprofessional.

Vutlhari at checkers waterfall treated me with respect and customer service I never expected . I was waiting for a cashier to finish helping a customer who came before me at money market for +- 5 minutes . Vutlhari came greeted me and told me that the customer who was being helped it was going to take more time and helped me . She was friendly respectful , she didn't know I was going to review her .

Checkers recently opened a branch in the middle of a once serene residential area. We have CONSTANT issues regarding noisy staff, delivery trucks and Sixty/60 motorbikes. They insist on opening at 07.00am every morning which means staff arrive at 04.45am already. We as residents have contacted customer service countless times as well as the managers of this particular branch. We feel "pushed" out of our own homes due to Checkers not considering the negative impact the constant noise has on us residents.

I'm an former employee, at Checkers Hyper Mayville, and the employees there are mistreated especially as a cashier. Cashiers are not treated fairly a simple act of mistake can get you fired or resign unwilling due to misleading of information...
And I know many former employees can contest to this. I don't know if there can be a solution to this... At of stereotypes, racial concerns and lack of employee support. Now my name is been gunished.

They sold a defective product to me a plane with a piece missing

Major issue with orders, now take money, short delivery, days for missing items or immediate payback of my money.
You can only rate the driver and not the order

POOR SERVICE --- this company is dropping the ball

I reside in Lonehill Fourways and buys at Leaping Frog I just bought a slice of cake and it’s so stale like, I didn’t expect that from the store

Checkers Rivonia I buy there every day but nothing changes it becomes worse evryday

One star is to much for them. Checkers in Estcourt opened a week ago, was n the shop on Thursday and already I’m disappointed in the attitude of the staff. A VERY rude woman at the veg section shouted NO at me when I was looking at the veg combos that was available, left the trolley just their and walked out the shop. Was very excited when the sixty 60 guys arrived yesterday. Was at the shop just now and asked how do I go about ordering cigarettes with my order, two very helpful ladies said I must follow them and they will find out for me. Assumed it was a manager the ladies spoke to a RUDE man and ask him and he just said if it is not on the app you can’t get it. Once again I left the trolley just there and walked out the shop. Guess the excitement for Checkers to open is now a thing of the past. Will stay with pick n pay because I know what service I get from them.

So I am very disappointed my wife applied for a job there and when she send her south African id to them they turned her down but they desperately need workers explain to me how that works I am truly disappointed checkers

I am very disappointed with Checkers 6060, I hear driving complains that they fired all South Africans driver and let on only foreigners drivers. How cruel can this company be

They just DISABLED RETURNS from my app profile. I assume them I am supposed to accept a certain about of damaged or inferior goods, and I should stop requesting money owed to me be refunded into my bank account. Guys rather just use PnP ASAP, if it's an option ... STOP THESE KINDS OF UNFRIENDLY CUSTOMER "service" PRACTICES !!!
