I’m honestly heartbroken and so disappointed with our experience at Chatters Hair Salon in Square One. I booked a haircut for my daughter and specifically asked for a senior stylist because her long, beautiful hair means so much to her. We even showed the stylist a clear picture of what we wanted, something simple, nothing complicated.
But what we got was nothing like the picture. The stylist cut my daughter’s hair way too short, completely ignoring our request. It felt like she just did whatever she wanted or whatever she knew how to do. Watching my daughter’s face when she saw her hair was absolutely devastating. No parent should have to see their child so upset over something that could have easily been avoided with a little care and attention.
And to charge us $100 for this awful experience was just adding insult to injury.
I would never recommend this place to anyone for a haircut. Maybe they have good stylists, but the one we had clearly wasn’t one of them. I wish we had gone anywhere else. Such a terrible, disappointing experience.

Andy is truly the best. I will never go anywhere else. Always a good experience and always leave happy after my appointment.

The workers are very friendly

My first time here for wash and style and left with complete satisfaction. I would highly recommend this place. Mhia’s service was excellent.

The understanding, care and patience CHATTERS gives the client is unmatched anywhere. I have now referred many individuals through networking. Highly recommended establishment.

Andy knows what to do to put back life in my hair

I’ve been going to Chatters for years, but this experience was truly disappointing. The stylist just asked what length and what I wanted at the front—no effort to understand what kind of look would suit or uplift me. It felt rushed, like he just wanted to get it over with. I spent a year growing my hair, and now I’m left with a terrible cut that doesn’t even look good. Heartbroken.

I always book with Andy. For sure he has lots of customers, so, I know that he hasn't memorized my color. Yet, Andy knows how to match my color just by looking at my hair. It amazes me every time. Yep, he knows his stuff ;)

Also, Mia is so very welcoming. I love how she assists Andy when he's so busy.

Denisa's work is truly professional—she's an expert in her craft! I love her approach; she takes the time to understand what you want with your hair and discusses it with you. The results are absolutely fantastic! I couldn't be happier. Not only is she incredibly talented, but she's also stunning and unbelievably kind!

My hair feels lighter, healthier and my curls came back. I needed a refresh and I wanted a change, and I love the cut, I love the bangs I feel like they give everything shape. I'm really happy with it.

I recently booked an appointment with Priscilla back in March at the Square One location for my first-ever balayage, using a 50% discount card I had. Priscilla did an amazing job—I absolutely loved how the color turned out! The shades were beautiful, and I received so many compliments from friends. I truly loved my hair! However, I was surprised by the cost. I ended up paying around $300 before tax and tip, and was told that this already included the 50% discount. This was confusing, as I was initially told the full price would be $300 before the discount. I’m not sure if something changed during the coloring process or if additional services were added, but I was a bit disappointed by the final price—especially since I expected Chatters to be more affordable. In hindsight, I should have asked for a detailed breakdown of the charges. Lesson learned for next time.
