I am an unfortunate house buyers and had a few unsuccessful house purchase case, all of them not related to the surveys result but I tried 4 different surveyors from the same branded company (map surveyors) - which was on the list from property agent’s recommendation.

I had my 5th one from Chase PMC, as it’s a 2nd hand new-build which has more uncertainties and concerns to me.

Comparing a small company like Chase PMC vs branded company, the cost are roughly the same but following extra services from Ka is the reason for my recommendation:
- Proactive communication before conducting the survey to express my concerns and area of focus
- High quality photos (with drone view) include in the survey report without any additional cost in explaining the checked area
- Post survey briefing meeting explaining the report and answering all questions we have
