Having looked into your order, we believe the change in value may be related to movements in the underlying gold price rather than the premium charged. Whilst precious metal prices can rise, they can also fall, and we have seen a decline in gold prices over the last week which would directly affect the value of holdings.
Our premiums are reviewed daily to ensure we remain competitive within the market, and the premium paid at the time of purchase remains unchanged after the transaction. Changes in the market value of your bullion are driven primarily by fluctuations in the precious metal price.
We have attempted to contact you by telephone to discuss this further, as we'd be happy to explain how bullion pricing works, including the relationship between the metal's intrinsic value, market movements, and dealer premiums.

I travelled down from…
I travelled down from livingston(Scotland) to Chards at Blackpool. My appointment was 14:00hrs but I always like to arrive early so I got to Chards at 10:00hrs ( lol). I tried to get an earlier appointment but they were fully booked. The service I received was excellent and we were done in less than 15 minutes. I sold 26 Sovereign's and a 1 oz gold Brit. The money hit my bank account 24 hours later but was told it could be 48 hours.
Truly the best Bullion dealer in the U.K.
for buying and selling.

Very good and dependable service, but payment process was tedious
The videos and advice on the web site is very informative and I received the order on time. I was kept informed of the status throughout the process. The option of selecting a dispatch date was very convenient and the coins reached promptly after the date.
The only thing I found tedious was the payment process. There was no option to pay immediately by card or PayPal. I had to wait for an email with their bank details and then do a bank transfer to their account separately.

A friendly, transparent company with a good reputation
Chards gave me a good price for my gold sovereigns. They were very easy to sell to - polite, transparent - they locked in the price there and then. I printed off the sellers form and sent it off with my packaged sovereigns by Royal Mail Special Delivery. The following day Chards acknowledged receipt and confirmed payment would be in my bank within 2 working days. Sure enough payment went in within two working days. I would definitely use their service again.

Always the cheapest on the market! And the customer service is excellent. Prompt replies to questions, the ability combine postage on split Orders, and just generally a "safe pair of hands" in all my dealings with them - wouldn't hesitate to recommend them! (And their delivery costs are FAR lower than Sharps Pixley!)
