Casten Design Recensioni 

I am complaining about Casten Roma, I bought a pair of shoes from them, they took a month to get here, I ordered a size6 (39) and got a size (37), they are dreadful, they stepped of plastic, the heel of the saddle looks like cork, but it’s a piece of plastic glued around the heel, and the same with the inner sole. I have emailed them and of course not heard from them. To say they were made in China is an insult to that country. I have taken photos of the sandels

Unusable after 1 year.
Great bag, very well designed and very convenient.
Unfortunately after not even a year of use the bag is falling appart and not usable anymore. (Normal use, going to work with it and occasionnaly traveling with it) So great design but poor quality.

The Vandara is a fantastic backpack, lots of storage, excellent quality. Perfect for our holiday trips and also everyday life! Best backpack I’ve ever owned. Customer service was excellent and delivery very quick!

Very functional and unique backpack, not to mention, a very attractive one as well. Loving it to bits and will definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a backpack. Keep up the good work Casten Design!

Fantastic backpack, bought 3 for my kids & they love it!

I got my bag today and I'm dissapointed. The seams are uneven and some strings were already coming off and the padding on the sides wasn't where it should have been. On top of that the searching chip app requires way too many premissions (camera, microphone etc) without any proper reason.

Edit: I give this a one star since one of seams broke after first time of use. And this item cannot be refunded because I bought it with a discount code.

As a frequent commuter - I love the features of the Vandra backpack, also The quality and attention to detail of the construction is top notch!

Got my Vandra through the Kickstarter campaign. Very well made, high quality materials. It also arrived on time, unusual for Kickstarter projects.

It's a perfect around campus tote! It keeps your sweaty PT gear off your books & you can lock it to a fence when shooting hoops so you don't have to worry about it running away...

The bag is great, project was well managed ans the product was send on time.

The Vandra backpack was A disappointment for me. The bag was too small for my needs (laptop, portable gaming console, phone charger, headphones, notebook and some minor things). Furthermore, the straps felt a bit short even at the longest setting. The gym compartment would be full with one large towel, and my gym shoes does not fit at all.

There were also thread ends sticking out of the stitches on the factory new backpack.

Kickstarted the Vandra. They kept their timeline and were very vocal with their customer base. The pack is well built and suited to exactly what they set out to make.

Been buying from Casten Design online for a few years, they have very interesting & innovative products. Communication has always been smooth & they are very reliable, will continue to order for many years. Very high service & quality for all parts, 10 Stars!

The Vandra is exactly what I envisioned and it carries and protects my laptop, iPad, cables, files and a few other odds and ends compactly. Plus the rain-proofing really helps.

I really like the looks of the Vandra Backpack. The shipping went fast, less then a week from Honk Kong to the Netherlands! The backpack comes in a practical sort of laundrybag.
I pursued a locker and a bluetooth trackdevice with it, they do their jobs.
The usb-cable-charger works well and so does the lockerchain. They are great features. There are enough little and bigger pockets. The little one in the shoulder strap and the pockets on the back with the zippers are really clever and handy. The feeling of the bag on your back is good because of the fine padding. The outside and inside colors are exactly as shown on the site, really nice. I also like the Swedish flag colors on the small band on the front. The buckle is heavy and of good quality.
Unfortunately there are also a few things I don't like and also don't understand.
First of all, the backpack is small. On the website it says it can hold approximately 20 litres and that the backpack is made for a active live so you can take your officesupplies and your gym clothes with you.
I would say the backpack fits (a lot) less than 20 litres. My gym clothes, a towel doesn't fit in when the laptopcompartment is filled with only one book, a map, pens and my iPad. I normally take a little salad- or breadcontainer with me, but that doesn't fit in either if I have my gymclothes with me. Trying to fit in gym shoes with all that is an impossible challenge.
My 15inch MacBook, does not fit in either, wich is very disappointing. The sidepockets are so small that a regular waterbottle doesn't fit in; they are just for 'fun' or the nice looks, I guess. The hipbelt is not easy to fasten because of that one side is short wich makes that you have to fasten the other side to it on your back.
Over all, the looks of the backpack makes it very apealling and it looks like good quality, but the practical design is not what I expected. Over all it would be more practical if the bag was a bit bigger, maybe not in length, but in depth. I have only been using the back for a day and continue to use it, but not as my daily officebackpack wich is too bad because it wasn't a cheap bag and the appearance deserves it.

I hope you will continue to make backpacks and make them a bit bigger; I am eiger to test it ;-)
