My car came up with an engine warning light and my warranty was 2 days away from being up. I rang straight away and the manager on the phone sorted me out with information I needed to provide them with and I did this straight away sent an invoice over and got my car repaired by my own mechanic. car simple then sent me the money once the repair was done and it was in my account after 48 hours. Their customer service was amazing and I can't complain they where very helpful to me.

I had an airconditioning fault, I needed a new radiator. They approved the repair the same day I emailed them the quote. They reimbursed me the day after I emailed them the receipt, to prove the work was completed. So I've only a good experience, dealing with them.

An absolute bunch of cowboys , second claim put in and refused and my car is only four months old .. refused something that clearly says they are covered on the cover .. had to travel over an hour to get a garage to deal with them and even at that they won’t allow my claim . Makes you run rings around to get info for them to decline you anyways . Avoid avoid avoid !!

Excellent experience, I had 2 claims, both were assessed and paid very quickly. Highly recommend.

Stay away from carsimple warranty company, they are absolute gangsters. They will do absolutely anything they can to avoid paying out. They work with one repairer in Dublin, who is a conman like them , and between they ensure nothing gets done that they have to cover. Don't say you haven't been warned. I will be going legal with them.

A joke of a company.. AVOID AVOID AVOID. Countless emails over and back to get nowhere!

Must look at legal options here! Would prefer to waste my time with a solicitor than car simple.
Don't do simple would be a better name!

I’ve dealt with warranty companies in the past and thought they were all the same until my experience with Car Simple. I broke down road side, within 30 minutes they had a recovery vehicle out to me and took my car to one of their trusted garages, I was updated throughout the whole process, most of it was covered under warranty and even the small bits that weren’t they agreed to cover as a good will gesture! I can’t thank Chrissie and Lindsay enough for making the whole process as painless as possible, being without a car is stressful in itself but with the quick turnaround and no expensive costs I was over the moon with everything they done for me, would highly recommend.

Thanks so much to Lindsay and the team for their assistance. I had some car trouble last month and when I called they had given me the number for a mechanic 15 minutes from my house so it was ideal. Thankfully it was an easy fix and I was able to pick my car up the same week! Would absolutely recommend carsimple.

Not one for leaving reviews usually but after the wonderful experience I had recently I felt it a must to review the outstanding service offered to me by Car Simple! I was travelling for work last week and unfortunately had a break down by the side of the road. Being so far from home I was panicked. Thankfully it took just one phone call to Chrissie to report my issue to my warranty company and I was fully accommodated. I spoke with Chrissie on the phone for 10 minutes and my car was taken to a nearby garage, repaired and I was sent on my way the very next day!
I can’t thank the team enough for their speedy response and swift action!
Will recommend to everyone I know that buys a second hand car in the future

A nightmare of a company. Turned away my multiple garages as they don’t want the hassle of this company. Brought my car to a garage and sent in a claim but was told I would have to get the part stripped out and send photos for review, to then being told to tell my garage to leave the car on a lift while it’s under review to then being told the garage can stay working on the job. The company is all over the place and I would never use them again. AVOID at all costs

An absolute waste of time, will grasp at strays to avoid paying a legitimate claim, you can't sort anything over the phone and they take an absolute age to reply via email, Grant will be busy and they couldn't give a $hite how long your waiting , no number for the mam that makes the decision
just a secretary so your fobbed off from the start, avoid this company like the plague just another legitimate way of scamming people they operate in complete bad faith with no intention of paying out when things go wrong

Carsimple’s warranty is a complete joke. When my car had an oil leak, they refused to cover the repairs, despite their vague and unclear policy. Their representatives gave conflicting information, and in the end, they upheld the decision to decline my claim. It feels like they’re just looking for any way to avoid paying out. I regret purchasing their warranty and would advise others to steer clear of Carsimple. They don’t seem interested in helping their customers, only in finding ways to deny legitimate claims.

I can't submit a different review. I purchased a used car for my wife with CarSimple, believing it would protect us from expensive, unexpected issues. Unfortunately, the car developed a problem with the steering wheel, which was surprising given the mileage. I contacted CarSimple, and after some back-and-forth, they referred me to a garage 10-15 minutes away, which was convenient.
However, this all started in March, and the "repair" wasn't completed until the end of June. Even then, the wrong part was replaced, therefore the issue persisted. Additionally, I had to make several unexpected payments that I wasn't informed about in advance.
In short, they replaced a working part of my car with a refurbished one, and the original issue was never resolved.
I won't waste any more time adding details here... The numbers speak for themselves.
Very disappointing!

Terrible customer service. Several missed calls, very rarely return requests for call backs and dont always respond with emails and have to be asked more than once. Level of cover is pretty poor and car rentals (mentioned in policy) you want are taken from your claim limit (and these dont even cover the full day amount of renting a car). Took over 4 months to fix the engine in my car. I asked several times for updates through them from the garage and got none which ended up with me being hit with severe additional charges when car was repaired when compared to what i was first told weeks before that. I dont have one good thing to say about them. AVOID

Car broke down on the weekend and was back on the road in a couple of days. No problems at all, good service from the team.

The team were really helpful, I needed a quick repair as I was going on holiday, Everything was sorted within a couple of days. Couldn’t ask for more.

I do not recommend using this company. They appear to be an insurance broker selling a financial services product (including via dealers) underwritten by an insurer in Malta.
I was sold this product as an extension of the dealer warranty. When I engaged with the dealer to report a problem, I was sent direct to this crowd. I paid for diagnostics. The results showed one potential engine issue and one gearbox issue. I was quickly told that the engine issue was not covered and pointed to wording buried in the policy booklet. Then I was told (after paying for diagnostics) that the warranty was void because I had just missed the service deadline. So the gearbox warranty was void because the oil filter was changed a little later than it should have been.
Also beware of the dealers...none of these constraints were explained at point of sale. I was led to believe everything excluding wear and tear was covered. I have initiated contact with ccpc as this seems like snake oil territory to me!

If there was a rating of no stars I would put it on.
I bought an additional 12 month Premium warranty on a car I bought in April 2023. I got my car serviced in April 2024 and on that there was an engine management light on and I brought my car to main dealer to resolve.
On trying to make the claim I submitted my service record from my local garage who did my service and the repair costs from the Ford Dealer who did the repair/engine management fault on the car as it was beyond the capabilities of my local garage.
I have been informed that due to been over on my service mileage although serviced within the manufactures time requirements my claim is void. Ford service is based on Mileage or within 12 months. This company are pure cowboys. At every turn they were looking for more and more irrelevant information always promising response or calls but never returning with any information.
I have spoken to consumer protection commission and FLAC who have advised me to progress with a smalls claim through the courts as my consumer rights have been impinged.
The citizens information have also advised the same.
Looking at the numerous negative review I would advise anyone who has similar issues to contact these bodies for advice and assistance.

I have handed over the car to service who recommended by them on Feb 19, 2024. And until now my car is garage. When i follow up with car simple, i dont receive any proper response from them. Even after two months they are waiting for diagnostics information?!. Dont even bother about the customer how they feel the problems. No ethics!! This warranty service is kind of scammer.
