The amber jar was the first thing that caught my eye on the bathroom shelf. I’ve been using this gel-cream moisturizer in the morning before makeup, and it sinks in quicker than my usual cream. There’s a slight cooling feel when it goes on, which is nice after washing my face, and it doesn’t leave that greasy layer on my cheeks. I did need a couple days to figure out how little to use. My skin still feels soft by late afternoon, so I’m sticking with it.

I picked up this interactive typographic hero module to use for a new product launch on my website. It’s incredibly easy to use, and the drag-and-drop interface saved me hours of manual coding. The kinetic type animations instantly grab attention and make a very bold brand statement right at the top of the page. My only tiny gripe is that the initial loading of the custom fonts took slightly longer than expected during the setup process, but once cached, it runs perfectly smooth. Highly recommended for web designers.

I wanted a statement piece for my entryway table, and this black decorative vase is beautiful. The ceramic has a nice, smooth finish that looks very striking against my lighter-colored walls. It’s quite sturdy and doesn't feel fragile at all. I gave it four stars simply because the black surface tends to show dust and fingerprints very easily, so I find myself having to wipe it down more often than my other decor pieces. Overall, it's exactly the minimalist touch I was looking for.
