I can’t thank CarmichaelUK enough for everything they’ve done for me.

I met Tom Carmichael towards the end of my prison sentence, and he helped me upskill and secure employment while I was still in custody. What started as a job opportunity has turned into the chance to build a real career in the railway industry.

I also want to thank Lewis, he has also been a massive help, supporting me with probation, getting my HDC sorted so I can work the hours I need, and always being available whenever I have questions, help or need advice.

When I was in prison, and even before that when I was involved in crime, I never thought I’d be in the position I’m in today. Thanks to the support and belief shown by Tom, Lewis, and the team at CarmichaelUK, I’ve been given a genuine opportunity to move forward and build a better future.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a review thanking the recruiters who actually do what they say they will, the ones who call back when they promise, who chase clients, who stay late to get answers, and who don't try to place you into the first job on their list but genuinely care about getting people into the right role.

Over the last six weeks, these three have been on top of their game, calls, emails, client conversations, on site meetings, and putting my CV in front of reputable companies that led to real opportunities and interviews. When Tom Carmichael isn’t rushing around up and down the country trying to appease the needs of the client he is looking after the men and women he employs. Never too late to query anything he always goes the extra mile even when he is trying to do his weekly shop at 7 pm. What he lacks in years he makes up for in dedication and commitment. He has a can do attitude and speaks a bit of Japanese and Mexican to boot

I have always found a lot of pro-active people in Carmichael always trying to find me the best job I can work for. I would highly recommend them to anyone that looks for a job in the construction industry.

From the start after applying for a position with HS2 through Carmichaeluk, I felt pretty sure my application was going somewhere.
