Took my money and never delivered my shoes!

The company seemed legitimate, with all the high-profile reviews, but when I ordered shoes from them, they never arrived. I've sent two emails and a text. The company responds to my initial messages, but when I say my shoes haven't arrived, the communication is cut off.

Super shady.

I have a pair of Cariuma sneakers. They’ve held up well over a year of constant wear. They’re fading and getting holes. So, I ordered another pair. But this time I pre-ordered them. I was charged and told they’d be mailed. They never came. It’s been 4 months and I can’t get any info or contact from the company. They’re just stealing money now. I think they are going out of business and scamming people now.

The shoes have all been comfortable and well made. The couple times I have had any issues I’ve received excellent customer service!

The worst customer service I've ever experienced. in fact there is no service. I ordered and paid for some shoes, they never arrived. I have now contacted the company four times asking them to either send my shoes or return my money. I've had no response except someone saying we'll look into it. Then nothing. I would strongly advise you not to deal with this company. They make a great deal of noise about their ethics but apparently don't care about their customers.

Ordered shoes, arrived quickly considering international. Unfortunately the wrong size was sent, return was processed quickly and efficiently and the correct replacement was sent out and received quickly.

Amazing. Beautiful attention to detail, high quality finish, fit like a glove and well worth the wait. I was looking for an ethical company to purchase trainers from and I couldn’t be more over the moon to find Cariuma. I didn’t expect to be as happy as I am. Your ethics are why I came to you, and now you have a repeat customer… as the trainers are so comfy/high quality. Thank you.

I pre-ordered my shoes from Cariuma with a promise they would be dispatched by 23 July latest. Payment was taken on 1 June. I had to chase for an update and the shoes were finally delivered on 29 july. I ordered two sizes as you need to when shopping online. I am now unable to return one of the pairs as there is an error with providing postage labels. So I am out of pocket for over £125 with no way of returning the shoes. Cariuma have replied to my messages but have no resolution date for the issue, are not proposing alternatives and have had my money for over 2 months now. This is unacceptable for a modern retail company and I would not shop with them again. I'd suggest you also shop elsewhere.

Would give them no star at all! I thought of being ecological and help a little bit taking care of this planet. However, I placed and paid an order 10 days ago, but no confirmation or any updates on my order whatsoever, yet the money they gladly took. Tried to communicate with them several times, but again, just being ignored.

O. M. G where do I start!! I purchased a pair of suede boots for my husband on June 2nd 2024. Unfortunately they were too small. So I went on line to start a return which asked for my order number and postcode both of which I put in to be informed they did not have this information. After about 6 times of trying I gave up and emailed them. I have had approx 6 email promising me they would sort it. To no avail. I still have them and have had no help whatsoever. I wouldn't touch this company and wouldn't recommend them as I feel I have lost £120.

They kept saying that my shoes have been shipped after complaining about my order. Never received them and I’m leaving on a trip!

The are SIMPLY the Best ... Their shoes are always link with a 'theme' ... Ecological theme !!! They help the planet @@@

Ive always read that we dont inherit the earth from our parents, but we borrow it from our children. Its important to me that I not contribute to damage to our earth. Cariuma apparently feels the same- their products are eco-friendly, sustainable, and as a bonus, made extremely well and are oh so comfortable. I have large (size 12) feet, with a high arch, and am 76, so foot comfort is important to my balance, comfort, and safety. These shoes exceed my expectations.

I got the shoes and because they are too small i wanted to return them. I followed the stepts on the website but when the time came to generate the return label the page was empty. It has been a week and i got no resolution to this situation from Customer Service and i doesn't look like there will be resolution.
Here's the bottom line: If you're considering buying from Cariuma, think twice. Unless you enjoy jumping through hoops and potentially getting stuck with unwanted items, I'd steer clear! There are plenty of other merchants out there who actually make returns easy.

I had a pleasant experience while ordering my shoes from Cariuma. It was easy to determine if the shoes I wanted were in stock. I found the ordering process easy to navigate. Also, I received notifications of my order process so I knew when my shoes would be delivered.

I LOVE Cariuma. I use to be a Converse girl but as I got older my feet needed more arch support. I saw their add on FB and thought I would give them a try. I am a school teacher so I am on my feet a lot. I currently have three pair and have a fourth pair on order. I am addicted to these comfy and stylish shoe plus the colors are so fun! Thank you Cariuma!

My Cariuma shoes have changed my life! They are the most comfortable sneaker I’ve ever worn, and with the shuge variety of styles and colors I don’t look like I’m headed to the gym when I’m at work or play.
I just bought my 3rd pair in a short time.
They’re so well made, gorgeous suede, leather and canvas for my hot Arizona summer. I buy the extra pair of laces offered for more fashion fun! My OOTD never looked so good!
People have asked me where I got my cool looking shoes and I love telling them about the brand. The sustainability and planting trees, comfort, affordability and top notch customer service.

Step up your style and make your feet happy too!

My good friend introduced me to cariumas last summer. I’m on my 5th pair and recently bought my son a pair who loves them as well! From the moment you place your order to deliver, cariuma, you are aware every step of the way. Delivery and packaging is incredible. The special note and postcard that explains every part of te sneaker is truly something special! I love the style, fit and comfort of my “UMAs” ( dubbed name my friend uses when we are bragging about our kicks). I love that they are environmentally conscious!

Firstly I paid for express shipping which was not honoured and they duly refunded what I paid for this. I then raised a return for the shoes as they are too narrow in the toebox. That return was raised on the 16th June but they are unable to provide me with a shipping label. Nearly two weeks has past and after countless messages chasing it up, I am still unable to return the shoes.

They have no issues in sending me promotion emails and messages on a daily basis, but have issues in allowing me to return my order.

Awesome style! I receive a lot of compliments on these shoes. I’m very impressed with the quality of CARIUMA products, especially compared to similar brands. I love CARIUMA’s design philosophy too!!

I have been a cariuma customer since around 2020, and these are my favorite pair yet. My orders always show up in a reasonable amount of time, and I notice improvements on the products. As an example, on earlier models the sidewall rubber would separate from the shoes bottom sole, but they seem to have dialed this in since this isn’t happening with newer models that I have. They always break in well and get very comfortable and formed to my foot. I am happy to support a shoe company addressing sustainability in a world that requires such forethought to build a better world. I usually buy one pair and wear them daily until they are completely worn out, and these shoes outlast competing brands such as vans.
