Bad Customer Service
What a Bad Customer Service especially considering the prices. I ordered several pairs of shoes, one was a pre order only shipped by 30th June (or even later!). I asked to split the order and was told that this was not possible without any plausible reason. However, it was possible to take more than 500 Euros immediately and let a customer wait three months for the order. Unfortunately I cannot use my right to revoke the contract according to EU law because it took to long to get a reply from the customer service.
Will Never Order again. Highly disappointed.
The customer service is poor
The customer service is poor, no way to contact either via phone or SMS. The phone number listed on website does not work. Online chat is asking to pay for consulting 'expert' to get a response. Finally got through on WhatsApp to try resolving the issue. Incorrect size was sent and Cariuma is not willing to exchange it for a correct size
because it was an end of year sale. Do not count on any assistance from Cariuma with your purchase issues,
Cariuma: The World's Worst Customer Service
I ordered Cariuma sneakers for my wife's birthday 2 weeks ago. I have tried to follow up regarding delivery: there is NO phone. They request text messages but have NOT responded to 3 text messages. I have sent 3 emails. Their response was to check their tracking page. Their tracking page has never changed from "March 31, PROCESSING ORDER". It is now April 10.
Disappointing how uncomfortable CARIUMA sneakers are
I bought 3 pairs of CARIUMA sneakers based on the reviews describing how comfortable they were. I was looking for an every day shoe for getting around town or travelling.
After carefully checking the size guide and allowing time for wearing in I have to say that these are the most UNCOMFORTABLE sneakers ever. They are stiff in places that then rub and create blisters and are not softening up or breaking in over time or use.
I guess I got sucked in by glowing reviews and the great colour range.
Definitely not a sustainable choice to buy shoes that are not comfortable and therefore don’t get worn.

Shoes started falling apart after less…
Shoes started falling apart after less than 11 months and intermittent wear. Customer service was slow and unresponsive and then when they finally did respond to photos being sent which showed the soles coming apart, they said they wouldn't do anything and that's normal.

Ordered a pair of sneakers for my wife. Sneakers were back-ordered. Fine, I get that. But they charged my credit card immediately. Now here it is weeks later. I have paid the credit card charge and am still getting emails thanking me for my order and telling me that someday, maybe someday, I will actually see the shoes I paid for long ago. I find charging someone weeks in advance of delivering the goods to be a poor business practice, although I am sure it improves their cash flow, as they get paid long in advance of doing anything. As I told them, hell will freeze over before I deal with them again.
Order not received 16 day later, no contact from Cariuma
I have ordered 3 pairs of trainers on sale 16 days ago. Paid £12 international delivery 6-7 working days. Still no trainers. Non-existing customer service. Can't get anywhere. My order is still waiting to be processed. Will try to get money back through bank.

If I could rate a 0 I would. After ordering 4 items, 19 days later, I emailed to check on my order status. I received a reply that I would be emailed an update in a few days. 5 days later, I emailed again and got the exact same response. They don’t respond to the SMS messaging listed, and email seems the only way to communicate. It’s now been 33 days and my order is still in processing. I was charged the day of ordering. They also haven’t changed the estimated processing and shipping on the site. It’s clearly wrong. Be Cariuma.

When the shoe went on clearance I immediately bought them only to be e disappointed that they were made with a visible defect with one eyelet hole higher than the other making entire top of one shoe looks off to the side..they look stupid and are unwearable
.. what a disappointment....AND because they were on clearance they refused return them.. 😩
Order placed and confirmed - no product shipped
I placed an order on 02/17/2025 and received an email stating that they are working on the order and shipping details will be provided shortly. The confirmation stated it would be shipped via "ground 6 days". The status on the website was "confirmed".
I reached out to them (via text) on 02/19/2025 inquiring if the "end of season sale" was still going on. I got a reply instantly and the representative provided me with the information I needed.
On 02/28/2025, when I realized I had not received my shoes yet, I checked the status on the website and it still showed as "confirmed" . I sent another text and was acknowledged about an hour later. I provided an order number and requested a status since it still showed as "confirmed" on the website. There was no reply. I sent 2 more texts after 02/28/2025 and neither one of them was answered. Since I have not been able to reach anyone at the company, I have filed a claim with my Bank to rectify the matter.
Delivery delayed by nearly two months
Delivery delayed by nearly two months. Received email that order was finally on its way along with a tracking number. More than a week past the estimated delivery date and the delivery service never attempted to deliver to my building, which has a 24 hour doorman. Order sent back to vendor and no one has responded to my multiple emails and there is no customer service number I can call. I am now forced to reverse a charge with my credit card company. Great shoes, terrible delivery service and absolutely non existent customer service.

I finally received my shoes with a few issues.
#1They didn't leave them at my door they left package at the community mailbox I distinctively put my unit # on my order. And the package is not wrapped so everybody knows what the contents is, that is not safe!
#2 the box was open?? luckily nothing looked tampered with. And I just happened to be home, a neighbor told me I had a package sitting there so I was able to get them right away on my way out, otherwise I wouldn't have been home for hours and hours due to typical workday. So, an open box sitting out thete? REALLY??
As it turns out, I just now (6:35 pm) can try them on.
#3 They are not true to size they are too small so how do I return and get the right size I ordered an 8 to be safe as ALL reviews said, "true to size." I'm usually a 7.5.
I guess I need 8.5 or 9 ?
I asked about details as to the process of exchange, I received the response. They will not. Final sale. Unreal! I am not asking for my money back, I simply want to wear my shoes. I was very interested in this company and really liked the look of the shoes, I always read reviews for fit comments before making my selection. This time I even selected a half size bigger than my usual size just incase. Bigger is always better then smaller with shoes for me. Now I'm left extremely disappointed and a bad taste for this company. Bummer because I was going to share with all my friends in Maui, Carlsbad, Malibu and Newport Beach Ca. Lots of Lopez fans.

Ordered February 8- no shipmemt
Ordered February 8, faq says my shoe will ship no later than 2/15. Nearly two weeks beyond that and a 2/22 reply to my email inquiry as to the status of my order says “ Our shipping partners are experiencing some delays in updating tracking details, but no worries—we’re on it. We’re working closely with them to get everything sorted, and you should see tracking updates and receive your order in the next few days.” This smacks of obfuscation- they do not state that the order shipped, instead give the flimsy impression that it’s just a tracking issue. Given other recent reviews from folks that have not gotten their orders, I’m dubious as to whether I’ll ever see these shoes. I’ll give it a little more time but will likely be disputing this charge. Very annoyed and won’t order again even if they make it right.
After a few weeks... all is great
I have been a customer for a few years and did some reorders. Total of 6 orders (sometimes of more than 1 pair)
After 20 days, no delivery and no tracking number.
So I sent emails and WhatsApp messages. Nice answers "sorry to hear this but I will update you tomorrow!" This happened for a few weeks. So was getting a little disappointed.
Real pity, loved their shoes
Well. There is an update. They finally got back to me. And after 5 weeks of me messaging them 100 times, and they have started some partial shipments. 9 March 25
And now after 6 weeks... 4 were delivered. 1 on the way and 2 cancelled.
Maybe an inventory issue but all seems to be fixed after 7 weeks.
I do like to stress, the shoes are great! Comfortable and well made.
Let's hope their service and inventory management improve.

Fantastic customer service for a fantastic product
I have been buying Cariuma sneakers for many years now and love them. I love not only the way they wear and look, but also the company’s commitment to sustainability. I recently made a mistake in my order. I contacted them and received nothing but prompt and courteous support from Pamela. The mistake was my fault and Pamela could have rightfully declined my exchange request. However she worked with me to solve the issue to my satisfaction. I am now (if I wasn’t before) a for-life customer of Cariuma.

Thinking this is a Scam. I placed an order on 1/26, with Ground 6 Days shipping. Their site advertises Fast, Free Shipping, but it's been packed & ready to go, w/ a USPS number, since 1/29 & nothing, no movement at all. I wrote to their customer service on 2/2, a Sunday, so I understand they were closed, however they say they will respond in 24-72 hours, & that has not happened. Wrote again today, & still nothing.

Upon checking, unfortunately, there was an inventory error, and the NAIOCA PRO Gum Vintage White Suede Off-White Canvas Black Logo is out of stock. It appears that when placing your order, our system captured some other orders with the same item placed and as a result, your order was not processed. We truly apologize for this!
In light of this, I'll proceed to cancel the order and issue a full refund—please allow 5-10 business days for the amount to reflect on your account.”
Waiting for the refund. I’m wondering if, had I not reached out, would they have bothered to inform me that the ordered shoes were never coming?
