Pretty good

Pretty good, although didn’t wash my car, which I’d thought was part of the deal. It was given back to us dirty on the outside, presumably because our car was not rented out during the period. Still, I’d recommend the service, it’s a great concept.

Great service. Second time I have used them.

Second time I have used them. Improved experience this time. Last time was very good but system and customer service issues arose. This time I left my Subaru Impreza, 2015 with Carhood Sydney for 3 weeks. Straight to the airport with them, car rented out for 11days to 3 different parties. Car cleaned 4 times whist away. Came back with them from the airport, waited less time than a taxi to be picked up. Car sparkling when collected, no damage. Issue with fuel again that I had to fill it up and send them the receipt although to be fair it may be the fuel gauge playing up. Friendly service and I expect to be paid the $100 rental any day. Also parked for free for 3 weeks, Macquarie Bank eat your heart out!

Very disappointed

I got no feedback. I was meant to be contacted the day before,didn't happen. I rang got the answer phone , left message no one rang back. Dropped car off early about 3.30am to go to airport. Apparently which is right there was a bad tyre which made it unroadworthy. They said they tried to contact me but no email. As I could have had the car picked up. I got back from overseas and got told I had a $350 parking bill. Which could have been avoided by communication. Which I found to be very poor. As there was none. Very disappointed in the whole experience. Communication is a must.

Hi Colin, we received your Toyota Corolla with 3 very unroadworthy tyres which were all bald and some showing the thread through the tyres. This car was deemed not safe for rental. We attempted to email and call you with the details you provided and we received no response from you in the 15 days you had the vehicle listed with us. As we were unable to rent your vehicle out due to the unsafe condition of your vehicle, a parking fee applied. Easy to use system

Easy to use system, didn't cost to park my car for a week, and was dropped off at airport promptly. An Uber was booked on my return from airport. My car was rented, so I made a small profit, what a bonus!

Be prepared that your car may get…

Be prepared that your car may get damaged and not fixed.

After my car was rented out, a spotted stain was evident all across my dash. They spent 30 minutes trying to take it off and insisted on using a stronger cleaning agent. I suspected the initial stain to be from a cleaning agent and so I asked for a professional clean to be provided and not just cleaned by their staff so there would be no further damage. I've received no reply in multiple weeks.

I also had to advocate, even before realising that it had been parked under a tree, to have my car cleaned externally. Not worth the experience if you have a car you care about.

Great car, good price, no problems....Carhood is a great initiative that gives money to the people rather than the multinationals!

Service was so easy to use!

Service was so easy to use and drop off and pick up smooth and easy. The guy who picked me up from the airport helped me with my bags which was great as I was travelling with a Baby alone. Definitely recommend!

Absolutely fantastic

Absolutely fantastic, good communication, picked up promptly from airport, car as described, returned to airport promptly.....hassle free, friendly, will definitely use again!!

I put my brand new Toyota Kluger under Carhood care from 8th April to 26th April. My Car was rented out only one day, and came back with a damage. Carhood repaired my cheaply using dis match color paint and did not replace a part which was obviously damaged. Carhood just devalued my new car.
After my complain, Car Hood is saying that they will send a mobile repairer. It is not good enough.

It is very negative experience I had with Carhood.

After investigation, we have noted that you have been in contact with our claims department who have acknowledged the current issues you are having. As per our conversation, Carhood does not repair the vehicles when they are damaged. We use a trusted nation-wide panel repair service, UP2SCRATCH, for the type of work that needed to be done, however, in this case you have brought to our attention that the work was not of a high standard. We have contacted the third party service and they are willing to rectify this issue. Our claims department will be in contact you with a resolution and we hope that outcome is satisfactory. We hope that you found some positives in your experience with Carhood and we thank you for bringing this to our attention.

A+ Company

I was very impressed with the whole experience. The staff were friendly, accommodating, honest and helpful. And every time I dealt with them, they were friendly and smiling.

Had a great experience

Had a great experience. The car was returned professionally cleaned and we made $94 which is great on top of the parking savings. Only small issue was that it took the driver a little while to come pick us up from the airport but this was only a minor thing and they apologised about it. I got the feeling it was unusual to take as long.

Fantastic and Fabulous.....

It was the first time I ever engaged Carhood this month. Initially I had my own reservations of leaving/renting my Volvo to strangers but I took courage and trusted in Carhood expertise at choosing tenants.

Even though my car did not get rented, my overall experience with Carhood was professional and pleasing. Torrey (I could be wrong with my spelling) was thoroughly professional in calling me well in advance and intimating me that no one would be around when I drop in my car after business hours and rightly provided Uber Service for dropping and picking up as well. It was a very good experience and I would definitely try Carhood again and recommend to friends/colleagues.

Try carhood for the first…

Try carhood for the first time,excellent service provide,it take about 10mns.
to get to the airport on a uber service,courtesy of carhood.
on the return trip, car was waiting to pick you up after contacting carhood 20mns . great service,would recomment to travellers.

Great service Brisbane Carhood crew

Great service Brisbane Carhood crew. Picked up and dropped off to the airport in good time. Car was clean when returned in perfect working order. Staff friendly and hard working. I have already recommended to my colleagues and would recommend this service to others

First time and very happy.

I left my car with car hood for the first time and was very pleased with the outcome. My car was rented out for the entire time I was away and I picked it up sparkling clean. I have been telling everyone about my experience, so hope you get many more satisfied customers.

Booked in the UK

Booked in the UK. Car had to be changed due to a previous hire making the car unavailable. I was emailed with all info about a change of car well in advance at no extra costs to me. Pick up at airport very prompt. Everything explained to me before I was let loose. My return was just as easy and return to the airport again was painless. I would like to thank all the staff for their friendliness and helpfulness. Would definitely recommend.

saved on parking

I left my very nice, clean, washed VW golf in Brisbane for 10 days over the school holidays and commonwealth games period, but sadly wasn't rented out. It was my second attempt at carhood, and I thought I'd have it in the bag this time with the car being washed and fully cleaned and left for a longer and busier period. When I picked it up it needed to be washed again just from being parked outside which was a bit of a downside. Glad to have saved on parking and taxis but unfortunately I didn't manage to earn any money.
