Excellent quick dispatch just a pity Royal Mail let the side down

Very good price, and delivered within the time quoted. It would be nice to have more communication about delivery - Royal Mail tracking showed they were waiting for the parcel for about 5 days from order, which was starting to make me wonder if it had gone astray. But as I say it was delivered within the time quoted

Camix have a good selection of cameras and lenses. I have bought two lenses from them and recently bought a Sony a7 iv from them. I also added two extra batteries with same order that stated were in stock. I paid extra to have the delivery delivered the next day and when I received the parcel, I was minus one battery. I had a photoshoot and they sent the battery out the following day in time for the shoot.

Quick delivery and very reasonable price. Kept me updated well through the purchase process.

You supplied an item that is difficult to find. Item was perfect, a few days late but you rebatted the postage - very fair. I will certantly use your service again 👍😁

They sell grey imports disguised as UK official products.

I bought a camera from Camix on eBay.

It was advertised as "UK stock" with a "1 year warranty", "Sold and shipped from the UK" and priced the same as the official store. The wording and pricing made me believe it was an official product. Thinking I could take advantage of eBay's Black Friday discount, I placed an order. BIG MISTAKE.

A grey import camera is usually much cheaper, but they made it look like official and sells as one. When I contacted them, they claimed it only came with a “retailer warranty.”

The camera arrived poorly packaged — wrapped in bubble wrap and stuffed in a plastic bag — with no receipt included.

If you check their terms and conditions, you’ll see that any return is subject to a hefty 20–40% charge.

This is a textbook not-so-honest store. Be warned if you’re thinking of buying from them — they sell grey imports while pretending they’re legitimate UK stock.

Camix responded very quickly this time, attempting to flag my statement as defamatory. However, what I said is nothing but the truth. The camera I received was an import, not an official Sony UK product. They appear to be selling grey imports at official product prices.

I sent an email to Camix UK customer service to report an expensive package had gone missing (paid and ordered on Amazon). The article never arrived at the Royal Mail depot although it was despatched by Camix.
I received a prompt reply with an apology and that a replacement item would be shipped overnight.
The parcel was delivered timeously. A big thanks and kudos for efficient customer service to Camix UK.
