To celebrate our tenth anniversary together, I wanted to gift something truly special and unique. I initially thought of getting an aquamarine ring and discovered Caldera Gem during my search. After considering the options and some advice from Caldera Gem, we chose a beautiful topaz instead, which is truly beautiful! I’m thrilled to now be able to create something truly memorable.

I had been thinking of buying a green sapphire for a while & I can honestly say that the customer service & the quality of the sapphire I bought are both second to none. If I could give Calderagem 6 stars I would!

I purchased an absolutely beautiful peach sapphire from Caldera Gem. I still haven’t made it into anything yet but have a few ideas and just love looking at it! I couldn’t find what I wanted in any of the stores and a search online led me to their website. I was surprised to learn they were based in New Zealand but they do ship internationally and advised me that I could expect to pay VAT on arrival to the UK which I just incorporated into my budget. They sent me tons of photos of the sapphire I was interested in and told me a bit about where and how it was sourced which was nice. It took just over a week to arrive with Fedex and there was a bit of paperwork to sign but it arrived safe and sound. The packaging was really thoughtful too and it was so exciting to unbox it and find my little gem. Highly recommend this website for anyone looking for great quality and service.

After a fruitless search for the perfect yellow sapphire I finally found what I wanted at Caldera Gem. I was a bit hesitant to order something so expensive online but talking to them really put my mind at ease. They sent me all the photos and videos of the stones I asked for, as well as copies of certification and told me about their sourcing process. They also explained their return policy but honestly gave me so much info that I didn’t feel I’d need to use this and I didn’t. We did have to pay GST on arrival to Australia but this was all explained upfront and incorporated into the overall budget. Delivery with Fedex was pretty straightforward and only took a couple of days. The fact that the site is run by qualified gemmologists really clinched it for me and they made the whole process really easy. The sapphire arrived and it was just perfect.

A few months ago I bought a blue sapphire from Caldera Gem and was blown away by the quality. The service was excellent and they sent me a number of additional photos and videos of the stone to help me decide on it.

I've since taken it to a jeweler to be made into a ring and he said it was really well cut and a very nice stone. He even offered to buy it from me if I ever decided to trade it in!

My husband and I recently renewed our vows and wanted to upgrade our rings in the process. We wanted something that wasn’t a diamond for my ring and decided to go for a green sapphire as something a bit down-to-earth, different and my favourite colour is green. Not liking any of the options in jewellery stores we decided to source our own sapphire and design our own ring with a local Jeweller. The green sapphire options at Caldera Gem were the nicest we came across and seemed to have the best green colour and appearance. We spoke to their Gemmologist who educated us on the heat treatment that the stone had received and advised us that it had been sourced in Madagascar and cut in Sri Lanka. Their service was very detailed and responsive and I found this to be reassuring. When the stone arrived it was packaged in a gorgeous wooden lidded box which was a really nice touch. We're both really thrilled with the sapphire and just wanted to say thank you so much for all your help.
