I honestly can't speak highly enough about the 45 minutes extended aerobatic flight experience I booked for my wife with Cabaero Aviation.

Booking was really straightforward - Craig got straight back to me and booked us in at short notice for the last flight out on a Sunday.

We arrived early and they were very welcoming and let us relax before the flight experience.

When it was time for my wife to board the flight they eased her nerves with good humour and we were directed to an area where we could see her take off at the end of the runway. Most of the stunts are done near a body of water due to the noise of the aircraft, but before they disappeared we saw a couple of amazing maneuvers.

Mark was the best pilot we could have hoped for - very friendly, put my wife at ease and handled the Robin aircraft amazingly, putting it and her through their paces! She even got to take the controls at one point, and fly in with another pilot under instruction. Just when I thought it couldn't be any cooler, a spitfire came into view and landed below her - epic.

You should definitely pay extra for the 3 video cameras to record your special day - I've just received the footage via a secure link and it looks amazing; it arrives in both landscape and portrait format, the latter perfect for showing off your exploits from a mobile phone!

My wife did admittedly feel queasy when she got back, but the staff were all very kind and caring, making sure she was okay. She was fine, and at the end Mark kindly took us int a hangar and showed us some of their other aircraft.

She received a flying certificate along with a free beer voucher (which sadly she did not feel up to at that time).

All in all this was a fantastic experience that we would very highly recommend - you are in very safe, capable and friendly hands here.

Had a trial flying lesson, as a present from my partner and it was a fantastic experience. George was a great instructor and made me feel completely at ease. Apart from the actual take off and final landing, I think that I was in control, with gentle instructions from George. He is very informative and has a great, friendly character.

I honestly don’t think words can do this experience justice. From start to finish, it was absolutely incredible and without a doubt one of the best things I’ve ever done.
The aerobatics were breathtaking, and I was even lucky enough to take the controls myself while performing loops and barrel rolls! Being trusted to fly the aircraft during the manoeuvres made the experience even more unforgettable. It’s something I’ll remember for the rest of my life.
Huge praise to Mark, who was a fantastic instructor. He was incredibly knowledgeable, calm, and friendly throughout, making me feel completely at ease while ensuring I got the absolute most out of the flight.
Massive thanks to Craig, who was brilliant at keeping in touch and organising everything. Communication was excellent from the moment I booked, and the whole process was smooth and hassle-free.
If you’re even slightly considering an aerobatic flight, stop thinking about it and book it. It’s an unforgettable adrenaline rush and an experience that far exceeded every expectation I had. I can’t recommend it highly enough!

✈️ Sometimes growth begins just outside our comfort zone.

Last Sunday, I experienced my first aerobatic flight at Cabaero Aviation in Sywell — a gift from my partner and an experience I will never forget.

Like most people, I have my own fears and limitations. One of mine has always been a fear of heights. Together, my partner and I have been making a conscious effort to challenge the things that hold us back — not recklessly, but with curiosity, trust and a willingness to try.

So I climbed into an R2160, G-BLWY, alongside the incredibly experienced pilot Mark Hooton.

I expected fear.

What I did not expect was how quickly fear would turn into exhilaration.

After the first aerobatic manoeuvre, I realised how safe I felt with Mark at the controls — and suddenly, instead of wanting the aircraft to level out, I wanted more. More loops, more turns, more time in the air.

The experience was intense, joyful and almost ecstatic. Somewhere between the sky and the ground, fear gave way to freedom.

I also had the opportunity to take the controls myself. Only once we were airborne did I discover one small technical problem: I simply could not reach the rudder pedals. 😄

So my first attempt at flying was limited to operating the control stick — but it was enough to make me want to return.

Next time, I will begin with 30 minutes in Cabaero Aviation’s flight simulator before flying a different aircraft — one in which my feet can participate too.

Although I may have already become slightly attached to this little R2160. It stole a piece of my heart.

This was my first aerobatic flight, but definitely not my last.

The experience reminded me that courage is not always the absence of fear. Sometimes it is simply curiosity becoming stronger than the voice telling us to stay where we feel safe.

And occasionally, stepping outside your comfort zone gives you something quite literal:

wings.

Just got back from an amazing aerobatic flight with Mark. He was very easy going and friendly and made me feel at ease straight away!
I loved all the manoeuvres he did and was also impressed he let me fly for a bit!

What made this experience great was just about everything. Ease of booking my experience. Allowing me to change the standard destination booking option to destinations I would prefer (time allowing). The friendliness of the owner and his colleagues, it was like being with people I've known a long time, so easy to talk to. After booking communication before the flight by text and phone was clear and precise. I would definitely encourage anyone thinking about booking a flight experience or who may be thinking about flying training to contact Cabaero.

For me, flying has always been a dream, and as a birthday gift, I had the chance for the first time to take to the skies with an instructor. It was truly an unforgettable experience from start to finish. Everything was handled professionally, and James made me feel comfortable and confident throughout the entire flight. Well what can I say about my experience it was a Xmas present from my wife Jill so on Friday the big day had arrived.
With the help of Craig who couldn’t do enough to help my wife for arranging this experience.
We arrived to be meet by Craig who informed us that it would only be a matter of 15 minutes to wait .
We were then introduced to my instructor George who immediately put me at ease and I must say that I felt in very good hands after going through the pre flight briefing.
We hopped aboard the plane and I must say at nearly 67 years old it was one of the best experiences in my life thanks to all who was involved to make this happen .
And all I can say about it was WOW WEE what a rush being up in the sky above my town .
I would highly recommend this experience to anyone and can praise all the staff at CABAERO AVIATION and another thank you to my lovely wife Jill
