Fraudulent business practices

This company confirms a subscription date change via email. However, they still ship and charge you. When you present them with the proof of the date change, they tell you, "too bad". Then ghost you once you hold them accountable. Due to these fraudulent business practices, I do not recommend them. Steer clear as they are not a reputable company. Gum is "lack luster" as well.

UPDATE: We had already contacted them regarding the issue and they REFUSED to take care of the matter. The response is a BS auto generated response. We currently have a dispute initiated with the credit card company to reverse the charges they refused to refund.

UPDATE 2: I've emailed them as they asked, yet again. Let's see if they do take care of it with a refund this time. I'll update what they actually do.

This company is not practicing legit…

This company is not practicing legit business.
They make you jump through hoops to cancel your subscription, and by the way you can ONLY get a subscription type purchase from them that renews at different intervals. They tell you if you want to cancel you have to email them, and if they reply you get a link. They wont refund if a second purchase occurred, only the first. Enjoy my nearly double the amount of money from the first order, asshats.

They don't tell you are auto-subscribed…

They don't tell you are auto-subscribed to their refill plan so by the time you discover that on your bank statement, it's too late to cancel or get your money back!

That's such a scammy way to do business. they are only worried about Net New customers because they are guaranteed to fall for the exact same bullshit that the rest of us had to experience with their tactics.

STAY AWAY!

No stars. Shady company

Honestly I wouldn’t leave any stars if a zero were allowed. They put you in subscription which isn’t totally clear. They bill you then claim they can’t refund you because it’s shipped and won’t help you cancel your subscription. Then then they bury the cancel link and fade it out so it’s almost impossible to find and cancel. Very shady.

The gun tastes good

The gun tastes good, the only issue is that it loses its flavor within the first 5 seconds. The mints have a BAD taste, and I won't order them again. I also do not believe this company is representative compared to others out there.

Edit: I do not plan to reach out. I will add that even though the gum loses its taste within 3 seconds, the mints do not taste good at the end, I am impressed with the toothpaste. The warning I have to give is that LaraineCo is lacking credibility. The only dentist quote I could find on the website does not appear anywhere other than LinkedIn (with a similar profile photo), but it is only still in school, however. The other issue is that the package is the same as that of a seemingly more credible company found three years earlier. This is a warning to others that I missed.

Beware of Auto‑Renewal and No‑Refund Policy

If you’re considering trying this product, my first recommendation is to immediately turn off auto‑renewal if you purchase directly from their website. Canceling the subscription is extremely difficult, and even if you request cancellation, they simply don’t process it. They still ship the order, and once it’s shipped, they refuse to issue refunds.

Regarding the product quality itself, in my personal experience, it’s not worth the price.

Buyer Beware of Subscription Service

This is a complete scam using a hidden subscription service. This gum is too overpriced for what is advertised. I did not notice any changes using the gum over the last 30 days. I ordered it the first time at a discount to try it out, however, the order did not advertise any sort of opt in to their 'Smart Refill' subscription service. It automatically does it to no warning of the consumer.

The refund policy dictates only the first order is refundable after 30 days, then you're signed up to a hidden subscription service where you cannot return the proceeding orders. Unacceptable.

I ordered the gum before I read the…

I ordered the gum before I read the reviews, then immediately canceled my subscription after seeing all the warnings. I have no idea if it's a knockoff--not sure how I'd be able to tell--and the gum is a bit pricy, but otherwise, everything has been fine. I was able to cancel easily enough through the website. The texture is a bit unusual, harder and a bit chalkier than other gum initially, but once you chew it for a few seconds, the texture is the same as any other gum. And the mint flavors last long enough. (Berry didn't last as long as expected and I didn't try cinnamon.) I don't think this is making my teeth any less sensitive. And I don't see evidence of remineralization either. But as chewing gum, it's fine. I probably won't reorder, but that's simply because it's priced higher than I want to pay for chewing gum.

Scam product

Scam product, scammy business practices. The gum doesn't remineralize teeth, no difference in 30 days. Received a notification saying a new order was going to be shipped, which they had already deducted form my account (I don't know where the info was saying I'd signed up for an automatic subscription??). I let them know straight away that I did not want the order and they said (essentially) too bad. The money back guarantee (of which I saw a 90 day one, and have a screenshot of this, but apparently it's only 30 days) only applies to first orders, which there was no asterisk next to any of these noting it was only for the first order.

I work so hard for my money and these guys have no idea and to just rip money off of people with that sneaky subscription plan is just shocking I want a full refund of both misplaced orders and I demand you cancel my card now and prevent any reoccurring chargers and give back my money ASAP.

Does not mention it’s a subscription. Charges extremely high prices when they charge you again, and there’s no phone number to talk to anyone. They refuse to refund me when they confirmed my order was cancelled already. They waited until after it shipped to tell me they couldn’t refund it because it was already on the way. It was already cancelled before.

the gum is fine, but they'll drain your bank account without you knowing

the gum is fine, but there are sneaky subscription charges and no way to cancel the order without reaching out to the company via email. The customer support response was to click a teal deactivate button that literally doesn't exist. Also, when I try to track an order on their website, there is an advertisement that obscures all of the information.

Tried Larine’s remineralizing gum and…

Tried Larine’s remineralizing gum and wouldn’t buy again.

The flavor lasts maybe 5 seconds, then it’s basically like chewing nothing. For a product that’s supposed to be enjoyable and functional, that’s a miss.

What’s worse is how their system is set up. You only get a refund on your first order, and you can’t cancel your subscription online. (I didn't even know it was a subscription) You have to contact them to do it.

That combination feels intentional, not accidental. Low flexibility + harder cancellation = frustrating customer experience.

I wouldn’t recommend. In fact... stay away from this company. They are just out to take your money.

Sneaky subscriptions and bad customer service

I placed an order online, little did I know I actually signed up for a subscription because they set that as the default and hide the option during checkout. I’m no stranger to subscription orders and am signed up for a decent handful, all of which notify me before my next order is coming. Larineco did not give any warning before charging my card for a subscription that I was not aware they signed me up for. I reached out to customer support as soon as I saw the email confirmation of the order, specifically requesting that they cancel and refund the order before it ships. I got a response from Rochelle offering a discount to continue the subscription but I declined and asked again to cancel the order, then I got a confirmation from Ma that it had been cancelled. The next day, I get a shipment notification of the order that I was told they were going to cancel. I reached right back out again and spoke with Juvie whose responses didn't seem to address anything I was concerned about. I then looked back again at Rochelle and Ma's responses and they also didn't seem to address my main concern of cancelling and refunding the order that I did not want to place. Maybe my mistake for not making sure they were cancelling the order itself, but they also didn't even acknowledge that they were unable to cancel the order until after it had already shipped. Just a super deceptive, super sketchy company full of incredibly unhelpful "support" staff who clearly only care about milking as much money from their customers as they possibly can.

I might have been able to overlook some of this if they had a decent product but the gum is mid as hell. They advertise a long-lasting flavor but all 4 that I tried lasted maybe 10min and tasted dusty and stale.

Recurring Order Scam

I signed up for one shipment of their gum. IN the checkout process, they hid the fact that this would become a recurring order. The automatically shipped another identical order exactly 30 days later. I quickly replied to their email to cancel the order. The customer service rep said the order cannot be canceled due to their refund policy, which is a money-back guarantee on the first shipment only. I asked them to cancel the recurring order. Same thing 30 days later. Same answer from the customer service rep. Absolute scam.
