A scam. Poorly printed and faulty discs.

This is the most frustrating New Zealand I have every tried to use. For the last few weeks I have tried to buy some DVDs from this company to no avail. Each card I try it comes up with a mistake. Both cards have been used on a regular basis and have sufficient funds to buy these DVDS. However the company's website keeps coming up with mistake, but the details are correct. Will not process.
I have contacted the company and they cant assist. Are not interested.
Dont deal with this Company it is a waste of time.

This company was a NZ based company with good customer service. Now after you purchase your find a charge from Hong Kong bank on your credit card with a 3.5% surcharge plus an international transaction fee. None of this is mentioned on the website or the order purchase form. This is deceptive behaviour. Everything about their business website is NZ based but clearly it is an overseas business that is deceiving NZers

Scam company. They have another version buydvdsaustralia. They take your money and then claim there’s a “misfortune” at their end and you need to contact your bank or PayPal to make a claim and that they’re unable to provide a refund or liaise with the bank or PayPal. DO NOT BUY!!

Dvds turn up in Chinese language not English and can't watch dvd as its blank other then the menu that's in Chinese, stay away from this company and should not be allowed to trade in New Zealand full stop!

Overall, I think the price paid was worth the value.

Have bought quite a few box sets and series with this provider, when had faulty disc's ect contacted them they reply quickly and they have either sent a replacement disc or fully refunded me , if unable to replace, so very satisfied with that aspect,

Purchased 2 x blue ray from this website. I contacted Aaron to confirm all ok. He replied quickly and assured all ok. Received several days later as described. Very happy with service and product.

I have just received the dvd's I ordered last week. I am amazed at the timeline. They put all the other online dvd company's to shame. So thank you very much. I am a very happy customer.

I brought two Blu-ray box sets. One of them is working fine. However, some discs in the second box set are not working. I requested a refund for the second box set. At first, it was business as usual, asking all the expected questions and a refund was granted. However, I have not received a refund after a week, so I sent a follow-up email and received no reply. After two weeks, still no reply from the NZ DVD shop. So I sent another email. A month and more chase-up emails later, I still have not heard from them. I took the case to the Disputes Tribunal, but unfortunately I had to withdraw the claim because it turns out the company is in Australia, so the Disputes Tribunal doesn't have the power to enforce the claim against an overseas company. I have lost $130 for the defective box set. I've warned my family and friends about this company.
Aaron replied to emails promptly and politely before the sale, then when you request a refund for a box set, they ignored emails and refused to provide refund they had promised.
